Ryo

Ryo is the main form of currency in the world of TNR.

There are four main uses for ryo:

  • Buying items
  • Leveling jutsu
  • Buying homes
  • Restoring HP through ramen and the hospital
    • Hospital bill prices vary based on the village due to hospital improvements. The price caps at [HP/15] for villagers and is [HP/10] for outlaws.

The Ryo Alt

Every character is allowed two accounts. The typical way to split these up is one main account and one alternate account. This “alt” is usually used to gain ryo for the main account and is usually a special jounin for the regen boost.

Ways to Earn Ryo

Errands/Small Crimes

Errands are available to villagers in their home village. Small crimes are available to everyone everywhere.

  • Cost: 5 chakra/stamina
  • Gain: 11-16 ryo

Serious Crimes

If serious crimes are done inside your home village, you can be kicked out when your reputation turns negative. However, you can't be kicked out of Horizon. It only takes about 300 willpower/speed to successfully do serious crimes. You don't lose chakra/stamina for failed crimes but can be sent to jail.

  • Cost: 50 chakra/stamina
  • Gain: 50-400 ryo each and 0-100 negative rep (for a random village)

Robbing

These are usually not alts, but main accounts that are desperate for money. If you want to make a robbing alt, you will have to train its generals high enough to steal from other users. It is also a good idea to keep your HP low to lower your hospital bill and to train Bandit Slash because has a chance to steal ryo per use.

The following are possible when you try to rob someone:

  1. You can be stopped by the village guards (aka nothing happens)
  2. You can fail to rob and be put into battle with them
  3. If the following don't happen, then you are successful and steal a portion of their “In Pocket” ryo
  • Cost: 30 chakra/stamina
