It was new, it was shiny and it was damn tall. It was the new building of Black Dragon Industries, located in Konoki. The whole building didn't really fit the Konoki scene, especially the architectural design. It was more of a Sato building then a Konoki building. Luckily the building brought economy and prosperity to Konoki, after all BDI was the biggest business in Konoki. It not only served as a headquarters but also as a area of residence. The floors of the building went in this order:

Underground: Electrical Unit/Plumbing Units/Vaults
1: Directory/Main Lobby
2: Incoming and outgoing delivery room
3-44: Employee offices
45: Cafeteria/Food Complex
46: Employee services (Gym, break room)
47-86: Residential Apartments
87-90: Zack Sato's Residence
90: Zack Sato's Penthouse

The residential parts were still for sale or for rent, while many of the employees already took their jobs at this building. Despite being only a few days old the building was bustling. Many people came in and out, citizens and people who worked there alike. Tours had began to show Konokians different levels. It truely was amazing and was going to birth a new prosperous age in the Konoki empire.

Akuma had taken last night off from his normal escapades to get completely drunk off his ass. It was a really odd feeling waking up without a headache or still being tired, but he guessed it was the side effect of not drinking. It was an oddly good feeling even though he missed drinking with his friends. After he had a morning coffee he had draped his normal shinobi attire over his body; however, due to the job interview coming up he actually buttoned his Chuunin Vest.

His mind wandered as he walked along the streets of Konoki. The Black Dragon Industries building became visually bigger and bigger as he approached it. Each step he took he kept scanning his belongings he actually brought; this was one of the first times he had ever left his smoking equipment at home, and it made him feel as if there was something missing.

He remembered someone telling him that Zack Sato was cool and free willed, and he hoped that it would help him get a job. The job he was applying for was one in relations, even though in reality it would be the company that placed him into a job they found suitable. Stopping to look at his reflection in the door, he realized his hair that he had fixed this morning had popped back out to its regular position. At this point it didn’t matter because his meeting was in five minutes.

The arm of the Chuunin pushed at the door and he walked into the directory through the open door to find a hall bustling with quite a few people waiting around. Possibly people here were looking for jobs, just like him. If he was lucky they would all epically fail at their interview, because he knew he wasn’t qualified for any job that required previous training: like electrical engineering. Not only that, but the one job he wanted was security but it would require him to remain in or near the BDI building at all time, which would impede his training and his ability to serve his village as a ninja.

After stepping up to the front desk he looked at the women behind the desk; she was quite pretty, but flirting with workers this early would get him nowhere. So he decided it was best to simply tell her why he was here. Before saying anything he cleared his throat in an attempt to gain her attention, “Hello, my name is Akuma Lune and I’m scheduled for a meeting here today,” He paused as he took a short look to the left and the right, “and I have no clue where I’m supposed to go.”

The receptionist finally looked up, seeming almost oblivious to his speech since she was working, but sure enough she responded to him with great etiquette, “Yes, Akuma Lune. Someone will be down to direct you to your private interview. Please wait patiently, someone will be coming down in a minute or two”

Ding!

A women stepped out of the elevator and approached the man who was known as Akuma. She had come in place of Mr. Sato who was currently with a few female friend in his apartment. The woman carried a clipboard with a few papers on it. She wore a woman's suit, which had a skirt for a bottom. Her white collared shirt was unbuttoned to reveal her average B-cup breasts which were covered by lacey brassiere. Over that shirt was a black coat that was left wide open and she also had a thin tie that came down to roughly her waist. She was very beautiful, especially her blond hair and her piercing dark blue eyes. Not a normal type of woman you would see in Konoki, maybe that was one of the reasons Zack kept her around. The truth was though that this woman wasn't another one of Zack's eye candy, nor was she a receptionist, she was the COO of the company. Her name was Hana.

"Well you must be Mr....Lune!" She said in a semi-flirtatious voice. "Very nice to meet you I am Hana Okiku, COO of BDI. As the forms in front of me say you are looking for a position here at our company. Well, we shall go and have you meet Zack. Just follow me."

Hana walked back to the elevator and pressed the button to go up, there were no other buttons to press after all. The lights at the top of the door showed that the elevator was making it's way down. Luckily it was very fast and reached the bottom of the building very fast. One it did the beep sound rung to let people know it was there. Hana entered pressed eighty-seven, which would lead to the first floor of Zack's penthouse. She also pressed the door open button so that Akuma would have time to enter.

"Let's go Mister Lune." Hana said giving him a wink also.

Akuma stood for barely a minute in front of the desk awaiting some sign to show him where he needed to go. Suddenly, only a small distance to his right, the elevator dinged just before the doors swung open. These doors slid like the curtains of a stage to reveal a gorgeous woman. Her hair was a dirty blonde and her eyes seemed to pierce into his deepest thoughts. The clothes she wore revealed the cleavage of her breasts. She was HOT! Being his age the sight of her brought many thoughts into his mind… several of them inappropriate for the time and place.

The flirtatious sound in her voice didn’t help either, but he tried to remain level headed. As she entered the elevator there was no time to talk to her about anything since she had quickly returned to the elevator after she talked to him. A few large steps and he was in the elevator standing with his body facing Hana since he hadn’t turned yet. “Well Ms. Okiku, you look quite stunning.” He had attempted to say in suave manner, however, his voice failed him due to the sickness he had been going through. It made his voice sound nasally and congested, which made him sound sick even though it was just flem in the back of his throat.

At this point he felt somewhat embarrassed and he turned back towards the door. He didn’t flare up red like most guys do around women but it did make him quiet while the elevator climbed a couple of floors. Before attempting to talk he had looked up at the elevator meter, noting that they were almost halfway to Zack's floors. After clearing his throat, covering his mouth with his hands, and pulling his hand back down to his side he looked back towards Hana and said, “So… Mr. Sato, does he have any quirks I should avoid or anything that I should do. I’d hate to walk in and look like a complete Idiot.”

He looked at her with his pure black pupils after he addressed her, his pupils could be compared to a black hole, taking in this beautiful sight while he could. One thing Akuma wasn’t completely sure of was how she would take the black rings around her eyes. It was commonly known in the Lune family he had trouble sleeping due to his chronic insomnia, but she could take these rings completely different depending on how much she knew about him.

Hana's client entered the elevator and then they were whisked away to one of the top floors. While on the ride the boy seemed to check Hana out, which followed by a simple compliment. He definitely wanted to do naughty things to her, just like most men she met. Maybe she'd let him if he played his cards right. He was cute, for the most part, but like said she needed to know more about him. Quickly the girl gave an obvious up and down of him then responded to his kind compliment.

"I know."

She said this with utter confidence. She was a strong, opinionated woman and she knew she was damn good looking. None the less the elevator kept scaling the building, playing some harmonious Konoki tune. It was quite catchy and it got into Hana's head. Her little tune got interrupted though by the Lune man. He asked about Zack's behavior. Honestly she didn't know how to answer, Zack was pretty easy going. She had never really seen him mad, despite knowing what would make him mad. So she would just give a faux answer. A rather silly one at that.

"Zack has this thing. It's very strange. You see, instead of shaking his hand when you meet him he would rather you get on your hands and knees and bark like a dog. If he does the same that means he feels welcomed, if not then you don't got a chance in hell working here."

The suggestion was rather absurd and it was really a test to she how much this man wanted a job. Not only that she wanted to see his reaction and if he actually went through with it. As she said this they reached the top, and almost as if it was planned out the bell rang to mention that they reached the desired floor. Hana exitted the elevator and stepped into a small hall. At the end was a door with no doorknobs. She walked up to it, swaying her hips while she walked, and pressed her hand in the center of the door. As soon as she did black writing appeared, similar to that of a scroll. The door then slide over.

"Let's go see Zack." She said with a smirk on her face.

Akuma listened to her as she mentioned the part about barking like a dog and getting on his hands and knees while greeting Zack. It was so odd that Akuma instantly concluded that with such a serious company such behavior would be frowned upon since it was silly and down right degrading. Instead of shooting down the idea of complete and utter humiliation he thought he would try to remain casual. It was quite obvious that it was an unrealistic suggestion, but maybe she was just trying to mess with him or sabotage his expedition for a job. Thus, in reply, he simply scratched at his chin in an amusing manner before he said, “Hmm… I see.”

The words rolled off of his tongue in an odd manor, almost as if being around such a woman was demoralizing his attitude. It was even affecting his normal speech, possibly because of his odd age as a shinobi. He slowly turned back to the elevator as the ding redirected his head and eyes back towards the elevator door. The door slid open almost instantly and Hana had nearly run out towards the door at the end of the hallway.

The narrow hallway seemed very small and un-necessary, not only that but the door had no handle. He observed as Hana placed her hand on the door, seals appeared on the door just as if it were acting as a summon jutsu would normally appear.

As she beckoned him he ran up towards the door she had just opened. He didn’t take the chance to go into the room, an opportunity that someone would have normally took disregarding the presence of a woman; however, he remained somewhat mannerly even though he was eager to meet the man running the BDI operations in Konoki. He swept his arm towards the door she had just opened and simply said, “Women first.”

Hana entered the building. It was relatively quite. The first floor was quite large, and included a large window that looked out at Konoki. It was mostly made of a living room/dining room and kitchen area. Hana pointed over to a few comfy chairs tp direct Akuma there. She would then make her way towards to the kitchen, setting down her clipboard and getting something to drink.

"Would you like anything to eat or drink?" She said rummaging through the cases of alcohol and meat that Zack had in the refrigerator. Everything was relatively new and looked fresh, even the fruit that was in there. As she was looking through the fridge and waiting for an answer footsteps could be heard from the upper floor. The footsteps were that of maybe two to three people. The footsteps got closer and closer until they were heard coming down a set of spiral stairs. Finally once the people who made these footsteps came down it was revealed that it was three beautiful women. Their hair was all mess up and so was there clothes. The girls looked to be about nineteen to twenty one years in age. It was rather a funny sight. Hana didn't pay the girls any attention though. Following the girls shortly after was Zack. He had a big grin on his face. He clearly wasn't dressed up for the interview, only wearing a plan white tee shirt and some raw denim. He wore no socks or shoes and went barefoot. It was rather obvious since the floors were lined with carpet.

"So you must be...Akuma?" Zack said to his guest, he followed up by yelling to Hana.

"Hana, get me a cup of water please...."

Akuma’s hunched stature had changed slightly when he saw the women walking down the stairs. This wasn’t like any normal interview that he had heard of from people that applied for jobs at market places and the like. The fact of the matter, however, seemed to be that Zack was quite laid back, and he could possibly get away with his natural attitude in this interview. Even with this fact evident he wasn’t going to push it. He tried to act casual as his eyes simply followed the women as they walked down the stairs ahead of Zack. They were very beautiful and not only that, it looked like Zack had roughed them up a bit too.

His focus on the women was broke when Zack had asked if he was Akuma Lune. He was still in a bit of shock but he eventually answered, “Yea, I’m Akuma.” Akuma said this in a casual tone to mask his slight confusion. As soon as Zack asked for a glass of water he decided he would ask for the same, “If you wouldn’t mind, would you please get me a water too?” The moment he said this he almost choked on his words, though they were executed in a polite fashion he wasn’t sure how Zack would feel with someone such as him giving orders to one of his personal employees.

The Chuunin’s hand reached and rubbed the back of his neck, which was a habit he usually had when he was nervous. It was odd to be nervous around someone he thought was laid back. It was probably just the fact that it was an interview and he had never met Zack personally.

"Ey, while you're at it get this man and me some alchohol. Doesn't matter what, you know where it is babe." Zack said to Hana. She basically shifted through the refrigerator randomly taking out bottles and whatever else was requested. When she was done, she walked over to the table with some sake, waters and some juice. She then went back got some glass cups and came back, sitting down and pouring herself some of the cranberry juice she brought over.

"Holy shit Zack, just get a freaking butler. How many times have I told you." She said rather irritated that she had to do all of these errands. Zack just shrugged her comments off and focused on Akuma.

"Drink up homie, you seem a little tense." Zack leaned forward in his chair and poured himself some sake and a little for his associate, Akuma. "Now, what position were you looking at? We have various things open. Such as a butler," Zack said with a quick smirk " a bodyguard to more or less protect the building, sales representative, marketer, and much more. From that question I must ask you, when you figure out your position would you be interested in a stay in one of our apartments in this building?"

Akuma watched Hana, as she took to searching the fridge for some alcohol at Zack’s request. This made the interview feel much more casual than he had made it out to be when he had originally came to the BDI building. At the moment after she brought the alcohol, she went back and retrieved some glasses and cranberry juice. Akuma watched the small scene, up until Zack pulled his attention to the interview. After Zack had poured him some sake, he had pulled the glass to his lips and took a small sip.

He placed the cup back down before getting to what he came here for, “Well, Mr. Sato, I was hoping to possibly get a job in Public Relations for public advertising.” He paused, pulling the cup back to his lips, as he took another drink. Once the glass was back on the table, he continued, “More or less, I need a job that will allow me to keep performing my shinobi duties for Konoki.”

After he had said what he wanted, he jokingly added one thing to what he had said, “Of course being a butler is everyone’s dream, but I will have to say no to such an intriguing offer. ” Akuma chuckled as his eyes settled back on Zack, “Also, an apartment here would be nice, since I’d get to spend my time with all the lovely women you have running around here.”

"Well then...PR it is." declared Zack to his guest. He took his glass of sake and brought it up to his lips. With one big chug he brought the whole glass down. He was really killing his liver with all this liquor, but he was having the time of his life doing it. "Hana give him the contract for both the job and the apartment. We'll shoot two birds with one stone man."

Hana looked down at her clipboard and shuffled through a few papers, taking out four papers in total. One was the contract that involved working for the company, it described the terms and conditions of working at BDI and also described the benefits. Healthcare was included.

By signing this contract you are legally binded to work for Black Dragon Industries. Failure to follow the conditions of this contract will result in termination of employment.

The other one was just a contract to bind the person to house as long as they worked for the company. The only maintenance's the person would have to pay for would be heat, electricity and water.

"So just sign here, here and here and we've got business." Murmured Zack, he just made a deal, and a decent one at that.

Akuma was amazed at how quickly this man would give him a position in the company especially with how prestigious the BDI Company was. A slight gaze caught Zack finishing his sake with a swift chug and Akuma chose to do the same, since it was almost like a handshake sealing the deal. The sake went down his throat quite smoothly considering it had been a while since he had actually drunk any alcohol. After the sake was down he placed the glass off to the side as he watched Hana flash the contracts in front of him.

His eyes skimmed over the contract making sure everything was solid in their wording. After only a second, he had a pen in his hand signing both of the contracts with a fast slash of the pen lacing across the table.

After signing the initial job contract he placed his signature over the next contract for living. Once he had signed both contracts, he chuckled a bit before talking, "Yes, and business is good"

After these few words Akuma darted out of the room, taking as little time as he could getting out of the building. He needed to attend a class and he didnt want to be late.

"Well then...." Zack said. As soon as he said that Hana started to shuffle her right hand into her purse. She pulled out a keyring, each of the keys were bright and shiny and had a number on them. Hana undid the keyring for fifty and tossed it to Akuma.

"You're in room fifty. It's pretty good. If you need any help moving in go down to the bellboys. They have to help you. Don't forget to tip them though." Zack got up from his chair and started to walk upstairs, he needed some rest. It was a long night and he had exhausted himself with those three women. Before he left he gave a little comment to his new employee.

"Feel free to visit anytime. I'll spare you a few biddies if you want sometimes." With that he went upstairs and passed out on his bed. This of course left the beautiful Hana with Akuma. She also got up, but she didn't go upstairs, instead she started to clean up. After that she would probably leave, maybe show Akuma his new room, or maybe even have her own night out. Who knew?

Ryuken appeared before the great tower in Konoki. He looked up and let down his Henge and replaced it with another. He marveled at its height but said nothing more as he approached the building and the front desk. He looked at the receptionist and nodded.

"I'm here to see Zack Sato... I've contacted him before and have an appointment with him. I work for Sato no Gakure and he has sent me a letter. I'd very much like to meet him. My name is Takashima, Ryuken. This name is held in confidence so you are not to say that name in public. This message goes directly to Sato-san, and if you must call me for something, call me Tou."

The receptionist looked at the man who entered and listened to him, taking down the name Tou. She slide her chair down and reached for the paging system. From there she paged Zack. He didn't answer at first but once she mentioned the name Tou he replied. The girl looked at him and smiled.

"Take the elevator to floor forty-four. He said he'd meet you in conference room three. Use this passcard to get in." The girl handed Ryuuken a scroll, which would act as a passcard to the conference room.

Shiyana
10-11-2008, 01:08
Ryuken nodded and took the card. He went towards the metal encasement. He clicked the button that had an up arrow and waited for the elevator to come down. As he went inside and clicked 44. As the elevator went up, he looked at the vast amount of scenery that entailed as he ascended the building. He was surprised that this building outclassed the Kage's mansion like no other. He knew that this Zack Sato was something to be able to have more money and therefore power than the Kage, but possibly, this was the next heir to the throne.

As the elevator pinged to signify his arrival, he used the card to allow him in. The doors opened and he strode towards the room that he was supposed to be in. Conference Room 3. He used the passcard and the doors flung open. He sat down and awaited the arrival of Zack Sato.

Hmm... If I didn't know any better, this guy could take over Seichi... much faster than Naaku. If anything, this man could be Naaku and we wouldn't know it, but that was out of the question, since I just saw the Kitohime... and besides, that guy was a druggy, I doubt this one is.

Zack's little nap was interrupted when the intercom speaker in his room went off. The man at the front desk was semi important though, so Zack agreed to meet him. He picked a random office to greet the man in and would head down there. First though he put on a white undershirt, a pair of shorts and some sandals. He exited his apartment, passing his prior guest, and made his way into the elevator. After a quick twenty second ride he arrived at level forty-four and exited the elevator, quickly making his way to room three. He entered to notice to boy there, well, he really wasn't a boy but he was most likely younger than Zack.

"Welcome." Greeted the Jounin to the missing ninja. "I have a proposition for you. But first tell me a little about yourself."

Shiyana
12-11-2008, 23:35
"I'm sure you know a lot about me Mr. Zack Sato, but I guess I'll start with the basics. I am a Takashima and have been gifted with their bloodline. I was once a Nagarean and can tell you their secrets. I am somewhat still affiliated with the Missing-nin and can give you decent information on them, and vice versa. What I learn here may be used, but I know how to handle information when I'll be helping your village.

I am doing the same for Sato and your coworker Suterusu, Shai'tan... He was the one who had made contacted with me first.. I am no currently under the jurisdiction of Sato."

Ryuken leaned back into the leather seat and grabbed his chin gently watching the most famous man of Konoki. Ryuken knew better than to pick a fight with him, at least now that was. He needed allies, and making allies of those that were enemies were important. If anything, there would only be one winner, and Ryuken would only see to it that one side won, but which side? Mr. Sato or Mr. Kitohime. Both were powerful in terms of strength and rank, but both have never confronted each other before. Ryuken watched with solemn eyes Zack. He could only play it in his mind and laughed inwardly, assuring himself that he did not show it in his outward appearence.

AfroNinja
13-11-2008, 02:33
"Ha! You were scum one. Nagare is what I'm refering to of course. Never liked a damn Nagarian really. Not even Ruppy, he was just a good ally to have. Anyways! It seems like you are interested in "working" for me eh? As much as I would like to trust you, you got two things going against you," Zack took a pause and then spoke after a quick second. "Takashima and Nagare."

"But I believe we can get past that! That's why I want you to join my little group. The Illuminati. Imagine this, you take five to six very high standing shinobi and ally them together. Then with that alliance you achieve what no other has. You get in trouble, I'm there to help. I get in trouble, you got my back. Ya dig? Nothing about this group gets mentioned though. It is kept an utter secret, no one knows. Except those who are in it of course."

Zack, who was still standing, walked over to the minifrig in the room and got a water. He took a seat and faced his opponent.

"But to get into this group you have to do me a little favor. An associate of mine was recently in Konoki's woods. He fought someone who carried a magical ring and was involved in this "Rings" organization. I want you to get me one of those. In return you gain my trust, friendship and maybe a little present. You down?"

Shiyana
13-11-2008, 02:43
Ryuken nodded. He held took out a ring he was given just hours before he had met with the man. It was a white ring that gained him access to most things on the inside.

"Already ahead of you... I thought it might interest you anyways, and I've already made contact with the Kitohime. They'll be having a meeting soon, but if it's a trap for me, we'll see. I'll be giving them information on Nagare and Sato. At least the information given to me to tell them. We can probably duplicate the features, but your identity will be a problem. That will be kept under circumstances and you'll have to henge as me if you are to infiltrate into the Organization. I'll let you decide for that one, but duplication is not an imposibility. I'm sure BDI can do it..."

AfroNinja
16-11-2008, 18:52
"Would you mind keeping the ring here? I'm sure a few of my researchers can duplicate it, maybe even make it stronger." Zack took the ring from Ryuken's hand and examined it. It looked finely crafted, and seemed to hold some sort of power. He believed though that he could reproduce this power ten-fold, and run a limited production on them. After examining the ring he would put it back into the boys hand.

"Well getting off of the ring subject, we shall meet up again hopefully. Next time with Shai'tan if we can get him to come. The meeting will not be here though, I think I'm feeling Hyouga maybe. On a side note, keep your eyes on lookout for some members for the group. Preferably someone with some sort of stance in Hyouga, Rikuhi or Nagare. We need to build up our forces. Anyways, you have any questions or anything?"

Shiyana
16-11-2008, 19:24
Ryuken shook his head and left the ring on the table. He then put down a piece of paper on the desk next to it.

"Those are directions to my shelter... We can meet there. My servant is there and will be contacting me, so you need not worry. Pass the information onto Shai'tan, and we'll be okay. We'll meet again soon. Is there anything else?"

AfroNinja

"That sounds great. I will let you know when we shall met. We need some time to train and whatever first though." With the ring and the paper on the table, Zack reached his hand out and took both. He pocketed the ring and then opened the paper and glanced over it. He soon after pocketed that also.

"Before we dismiss, I have something for you. It will allow us to communicate relatively easy. Train it and contact me when you are done. It will come in handy very much." Spoke Zack as he reached into another pocket to pull up a small scroll. He slide the rolled up paper across the table and then got up from his chair.

"Well I guess that concludes our meeting. It was good to finally meet you." As Zack said this his hands adjusted themselves to the handsigns of Human Radio. He took Ryuken's chakra frequency knowing that it would come in use later when he needed to contact him.

Going there almost straight from his encounter with the infamous Kitohime Naaku, which had entirely been a distraction from his course, a tangent of his that had only popped up in the middle of a moment. That encounter, though, was almost fortuitous, and Seiko assumed that Naaku, and possibly some of his compatriots, were dead, having shown no actual suspicion of the trap that he had set on Naaku himself. In all honesty he was a bit disappointed in Naaku; it had been far too easy not only to get close to him but to touch him as well. how had such a short-sighted and relatively accepting man ever grown to be so powerful in the underworld? Good Subordinates?

Apparently not.

Regardless of this, here he was, coming to BDI industries. He walked through the doors, his regalia on him in one way or another, as he swiftly, gracefully stepped and moved toward the receptionist on the first floor, having not sought out an appointment with Sato Zack, a man who, last he had personally encountered him, had tried to kill him with his Rasengan technique. Hopefully this encounter would be a bit different from the last one, he thought with a small smirk. Stepping forward, he greeted the receptionist there with a warm smile, his voice smoothly diplomatic.

"Hello, I'm here to speak to Sato Zack, my name being Kisho Seiko. I don't exactly have an appointment, but if you give him my name I'm sure he'll see me." he said, his white teeth brilliant almost, charming the cute yet mundane woman.

"I'm sorry sir, but he's out at the moment, away on some business. I'-" she said, only to be interrupted by the charismatic clan leader.

"That's fine." he said, nodding his head. "I'll just wait here." he said, ignoring her surprised look, waving off any protest she may have raised with a simple flick of his wrist. This conversation was done with.

Shiyana had made his way to what was seemingly the place to buy his supplies. The Ooikage had recommended the place to him to get some better suited items for his mission. As stupid as he though the mission was, he couldn't defy the orders of the Ooikage. Shiyana went to the secretary. She had said the Zack went out and would come back in a few hours. Having nothing to do, Shiyana waited in the Lobby and saw another boy there. He nodded at him and crossed his arms while closing his eyes.

Meh... You'd think someone like me wouldn't be using such trivial items, but I guess it's to speed the process up a bit."

Seiko nodded back at Shiyana, not making any real noise in the motion. He didn't recognize the man, really, though from his actions and his stature, his posture, plus where he was, it was obvious that he was a high-ranking shinobi of some ability, of some intellect, of some skill. He couldn't recognize the man for any number of reasons. That wasn't, however, any reason to be unsociable. Not necessarily overtly kind, but sociable.

He nodded and closed his eyes, resting against the wall, his shoulders pressed against it and about half of his back, the upper half, joining them. Despite that though his feet and hips were tilted forward, outwards, propping him up against the wall.

The ANBU nodded back in return when he made eye contact with the shinobi across from him. He could tell he was a shinobi at least. Through the looks of it, he had a decent amount of strength, and probably was here on the same terms as he, waiting for Zack Sato. Shiyana took out a kunai and began fiddling with it as he needed something to occupy his time. He looked around and noticed a few executives coming in and out of the building. He didn't mind them, so long as they didn't come up to him and pick a fight they would surely lose. Shiyana sighed and waited for Mr. Sato, hoping he would come soon.

Damn business trips... Though, if I remember Shai'tan-sensei telling me correctly, he was going to Nagare with him... Meh... I'll wait a few hours and see if he'll show up. If not, he's in Nagare, and I'll go see if I need to help before I leave...

A delivery boy arrived with Zack Sato's copy of "Seichi News weekly". He saw only two people in the area, so, he approached the gentleman who was leaning against the wall. (Seiko)

The delivery boy held it out to him and said, Excuse me, but I couldn't help but overhear you were trying to see Zack Sato. I've got his weekly magazine here, if you could just give it to him.

The cover of the magazine clearly pictured the Face of Gai Gardener, indicating that there was a story of the young businessman's death, after a recent explosion at his Rikuhi Facility. The article went on to speculate that while the attacker was unknown, major competitor, Black Dragon Industries was among the suspects for the boy's murder, due to their fierce competition in the weapons market.

It also mentioned briefly in the corner the recent bombing and Arson at Hyouga, including the information that was provided by the fliers that had been spread around the village earlier that week.

You might even enjoy reading it yourself. he said.

"Kid, do I exactly look like I'm in charge here, waiting for a meeting?" he asked, not even closing his eyes. He didn't so much as glance at the magazine at all, light eyes still closed. "His receptionist is over there." he said, raising a hand to point at the large, massive desk with the professional-looking woman still there seated where she had been a little bit before.

Wait a minute the delivery boy thought. Aren't you Kisho Seiko? Your reputation proceeds you! The boy got out a pen and paper, and held it out. Can I get your autograph, Mr. Kisho? I've always wanted to walk the Seiko Path hehe pun

Regardless of the man's reaction, the boy would pull out another copy of the magazine. Here, this one's on me, because I am like... your number one fan. I think there's an articile about you on page 13, right before the article about the red-headed kid who died. I think its a terrible thing they're blaming mr. Sato for his death. Mr Sato wouldn't do that, would he?

Clearly in awe of the super-star, The deliver boy continued to babble, tossing Mr. Sato's copy of the magazine to the reception desk.

He opened his eyes now, looking at the boy. "Yes, I'm Kisho Seiko. And thank you." he said, his thin lips curling into a slight smile. He liked this boy, a little. Plus the fact that he had someone gawking over him would probably make the receptionist realize that this person wasn't just someone and, if she were hiding Sato Zack, she might be inclined to change that action. Taking the magazine, his deft fingers instantly curled the cover back in a moment, not even looking at the cover as he bent the magazine. He took the pen offered to him, too.

"Sato-san is a shinobi, first and foremost. Be sure to keep that in mind. While I'm not saying that he did kill a child, shinobi are told to do gruesome things sometimes. If a shinobi can't grit his teeth and get through some horrible actions in this world than they won't ever be able to climb and get to Zack's status. Trust me on this; I have first-hand experience. Sato Zack is an incredible shinobi. Sometimes." he said, the last word being humorous with a dry smile as he finished scribbling on the story about him, some attempted expose about him and his connections. The writer of that article was pretty poor in skill, obviously trying to find something on Kisho Seiko and Kisho Tosuki.

They'd find nothing. He made sure of that.

"Here, kid." he said, slipping the magazine back into the boy's grasp. "Keep it. Come by sometime and I'll see what I have for you to do, if you're interested." he said with a kind, genuine, disarming smile. "But you should get going now. Don't you have a scefule to keep?"

The boy took the magazine back, and then left, thanking Seiko and leaving with the autograph.

He told all of his friends, and most of the village, that Seiko was in town, and that he was in Black Dragon industries waiting for an important Meeting with Zack Sato. It seemed that Seiko's reputation had proceeded him yet again.

---------

After not long, word of Seiko's presence at BDI reached a messenger who had been seeking him, but had been doing so wandering rather blindly. The messegner came to BDI and then walked in and immediately recognized Seiko.

You must be Kisho Seiko The older gentleman in the business suit said to him, offering him a handshake. I was wondering if I could have a moment of your time?

Without Giving Seiko a chance to answer, the man said, I don't know if you heard, but perhaps you have, since you're friends with Zack Sato. Zack's business Rival, Gai Gardener, the owner of StarLabs, recently passed away. By the way, the new management at StarLabs has been publicly denouncing the accusations made towards Sato.

Anyway, Gardener mentioned you in the list of names to be read in his will. He updated it rather recently, you see, fearing that someone was out to kill him. Obviously, he wasn't too far off. Anyway, he indicated that you were in his will because you were kind enough to offer him medical aid after the recent Hyouga attack, when he was injured by somene in the crossfire. He was very greatful for your offer, apparently, and added you to his will.

The man pulled out a flier, and held it to Seiko. The location of the funeral, as well as the time and day, are on this sheet. It also has contact information for our funeral home, as well. I do hope you'll attend.

A few streets down from the tower the merchant caravan slowly moved down the street.

"Alright guys there is the place. Maan its big... I hope we brought enough." The old merchant looked to his barrels.

"We need to be fast. So we can move on and correct other matters."

The group would then arrive at the tower. It was big, and Hokuto had seen it plenty of times. Matter of fact, she had to do her first mission when it was still under construction. She sighed. Memories..

"What now?" she whispered.

The disguised Mataru spoke to his companions in his usual tone of loud and gruff while he looked the tower up and down similar to how he looked Hokuto up and down so often.

"The hell? Is Sato-san trying to compensate for something here? I mean honestly...This place is surrounded by rain forests and crap and then you got this big futuristic looking thing springing up out of no where. It's probably built poorly too. I don't know how prone this place is to earthquakes though, but if there were one..." The hint was there, and it was meant for Naaku to pick up. It was his reply to Hokuto as well, even if she didn't realize it's full meaning as of yet.

Naaku laughed and shook his head

"No. Its a triangle, look. Earthquaques would simply make it tilt, but it would hold. No it would take alot more to bring this thing down."

Naaku knew there was enough explosives within the caravan to bring down a large building and this one was three sided, so if they knocked out one main support pillar the entire thing should come toppling down with all the added weight. Now undistributed. A triangular building was perfect against wind and projectiles and even uneven surfaces, but could not stand on two legs.

"You see that."

He pointed to the east corner as they approached the front of the building.

"Kick that out and a simple push from the wind will bring it down on everything."

He motioned to his bodyguards to move once they reached the front doors.

"Im sure theres a restroom inside."

That was their cue to get inside and snatch whatever they could. The best idea would be to take the elevator to a research room, vault, or archive, then blast their way in and out. Naaku would take care of the building.

"Go on now."

He waved down a few guards as his mule pulled the cart towards the eastern side of the building.

(OOC: I was going to wait for Jade...but whatever.)

Mataru listed to the cue, but moved to an area outside that was hidden from the public eye. It was sort of an open shed, probably used by the groundskeeper of the building. Mataru simply closed the door and walked in, and performed a new Henge to make himself look a bit less suspicious.

http://www.digital-tv.co.uk/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/03/borat-high-five.jpg

After making his transformation into one that would look more like a businessman, he coughed a bit and practiced a strained new voice for himself before entering the building. He eyed the Kisho kid that had appeared to them before in Hyouga not too long ago, and found it odd how he would suddenly be here of all places considering his village was just attacked. But then he remembered the fact that he mentioned Zack Sato.

I wonder if he's waiting here to ask Sato out on a date or something...

Mataru ignored it and went up to receptionist. He improvised, eying a pamphlet on the desk detailing how the residential parts of the building were still for rent to the public. He spoke to the woman, ignoring her face and observing other more appealing parts of the woman.

"Excuses me, ma'm. I'm just a wondering about, how do you say...The living areas in this buildings?"

"The residential areas for rent?" The woman spoke, ignoring the accent that Mataru was smothering his regular speech with. She also ignored the fact that he was a man-pig that was ogling her.

"Yes. I would uh...very much like to see these 'areas'." The woman's face contorted despite her efforts to keep polite.

"There's another desk located on the 47th floor where you could inquire about living expenses and availability if you're interested. The elevator is just around that corner, next to the restrooms." The disguised swordsmen nodded, picking up one of the pamphlets and walking over to the elevator, pressing the button, and waiting for it to come down to this level so he could make his way through the building in search of information.

And possibly more women.

Upon reaching the floor, Mataru wasn't even able to get out of the elevator as an oncoming wave of people entered and crammed the elevator so much that he couldn't even move. The disguised swordsmen began gasping for air as the elevator moved back down to the first floor. He was carried away with the crowd of people as the moved out of the building, before finally dispersing into the street outside. All the while, they crowd was shouting, "I can't wait to get to the Christmas ball!"

"Christmas ball? What the hell? I wish people would get that excited about my balls...I guess we'll have to postpone this for a bit." The ninja meandered off. He had some matters he had to attend to anyways.

Hana and Jak arrived at the building around mid-afternoon. Hana took the elevator to one of her apartments while Jak took it to floor 87; which was Zack Sato's residence. After a quick elevator ride, Jak reached floor 87. The doors of the elevator opened to revealed a hall lined with four paintings, on each side. At the end was a sliding door that had no handle. The masked teddy-bear man placed the palm of his and on the wall. A special seal design showed in black in, it was a circle with swirls and lines coming out of it. The door slide and the man entered, the safe haven of Zack Sato.

The door behind him slide closed, this was the cue to take off the mask. The inside was very hot and steamy, and the man wearing it was sweating profusely. A click of a button on the side of the helmet made it split into two running it into a left and right part. Jak took the left part off first and then the right. His face was pretty sweaty and his breathing heavy. But his face was also recognizable. He was Zack Sato. He took a small tape from inside the helmet. There was a recording device, it was connected to the eyes of the mask, and it was a low quality video.

The elite jounin took both the mask and the tape up to his room which was two floors up. The room was very open. In the middle was circular bed. Around it was various items and furniture. Zack tossed the mask and the tape onto the bed and got undressed. He then headed for the shower. Taking a quick shower he got dressed again, this time into some sweat pants and a plain white cotton t-shirt. He then hopped onto his bed and relaxed. Hopefully it would be a quiet day.

Kiyoshi arrived at the the front door to the BDI building in awe of its sheer immensity. He opened the doors and walk towards the main desk. He took out his pad and wrote a short note on it, passing to the person behind the counter.

Jinnu,Kiyoshi from Jinnu Building, Relief and Development inc. I'm here to request an audience with Zack Sato. I'm sorry to have to communicate like this as I am deaf and mute."

As he passed the note off Kiyoshi marveled at the intense steal work that must have gone into constructing this behemoth of a building. He took note to how finally crafted all the trim and furniture was throughout what he could see, Even the materials were all top notch. "Wow he spared no expense."Kiyoshi continued admiring every little detail he saw making a thousand mental notes in his head as he awaited a response from the person at the desk.

The receptionist looked at the man with her blue eyes. She was really pretty and gave him a big smile. Her soft voice utter a few simple words.

"How may I help you today?" She said to the deaf man, not knowing he could not hear her. She then noticed the paper that he slipped her. She read it carefully and then rolled her chair over to a leather-bound book. She looked through it and tapped a certain part of the page she was looking at. It was a schedule for Zack and Hana. Today both of them were free and seemed to have not meetings or any scheduled ninja-duty kind of stuff. The receptionist tossed her chair back over to the part of the desk the man stood infront of and gave him another smile. He teeth were really white, she was obviously using some kind of enhancer.

"Mr. Sato is free right now. If you want take the elevator to floor eighty-seven. There will be a long hallway with a door at the end, just give it a knock." She said, again not knowing he was deaf.

Kiyoshi was getting a bit better at reading lips he Made out most of what she said even tho her teeth nearly blinded him,"87th floor long hallway knock on the door.K got it." Kiyoshi smiled and pointed to his ear again before waving good bye to the pretty receptionist.

He walked to the elevator, opened the door and pushed the button for the 87th floor." I wonder If he knows sign language. Doubt it, most people don't." It was Quite the wait in the elevator long enough of a wait Kiyoshi was able to think of a decent introductory note. As the elevator finally came to a stop on the 87th floor Kiyoshi could feel the weight of the elevator shift as it came to a smooth stop. He folded the note holding in his and hand walked down the hallway scoping the walls and the decor.

Kiyoshi came to the door at the end and knocked on it. He stood holding his note prepared to give a polite bow to one of konokis great heroes, Kiyoshi straitened his clothes and awaited a reply.

Zack thanked her and awaited down stairs in his living room for the door. A few minutes later the door was knocked on. Zack got up and pressed his hand against his side of the door. It opened and he was now standing face to face with Mister Jinnu. The man Zack was greeted with was not the one he expected. He was shorter than Zack and looked younger, although his body was scarred. None the less the elite jounin would welcome his guest in with a big smile.

"Hello Mister Jinnu, great to meet you. Name is Zack Sato." He said extending his hand out to the man.

" Jinnu,Kiyoshi Genin,Co founder of Konoki Building, Relief, & Development inc.

The boy handed Zack a note, and he read it carefully. A little smirk donned his face. He felt bad for Kiyoshi. He was deaf, and that disability would make his ninja life difficult. Then again, his other senses were probably heightened, the thought of that brought Zack's mind quickly to an old friend named Himoto. Himoto was a Rikuhi man who was very large and strong, he was also blind. Because of his blindness he would hear a pin drop in a crowded room, and could smell keenly and he could sense vibration in the ground. These two people were alike in a way, and Zack was sure Kiyoshi had learned to maneuver with his disabilities.

The elite jounin walked over to the island in the kitchen and grabbed a blue ink pen and a piece of paper. He wrote a quick not on the scrap piece and handed it to Kiyoshi. It read as followed:

"It is also very nice to meet you Mister Jinnu. Don't worry about my time, I have all the time in the world (until I die of course). Do not apologize, I do not mind this at all. The only time I ever write stuff is when I have to sign a document. So anyways, what type of business did you come here looking for? A trade, a license to use our products, a sponsorship? Or did you just come here to party and chill with the great Zack?"

Kiyoshi read the note over and a smile came over his face."All of the above would be cool." Kiyoshi scratched his head thinking how best to reply."Getting to have a sit down with the great Zack is not an ordinary thing. Oh snap! almost forgot!" Kiyoshi quickly wrote down a reply, he was getting pretty used to writing all the time.

" If it would be cool I would be down to do all of the above. I have something for you as a thank you for throwing such an awesome winter bash. The old man brewed something up for you and asked me to bring it to share with you."

Kiyoshi swung his pack around and opened it up pulling out a gallon sized jug of sake. Strangely enough it the bottle was warm. Kiyoshi had kept it hot using a bunch of hand warmers lining the bottom of his pack."Nice it worked still warm." Kiyoshi gave a mischievous grin as he handed the jug to Zack.

Zack accepted the bottle happily. He held the warmth in his hand, it felt magnificent. He didn't really care if his sake was warm or cold, as long as it had a decent taste. Zack placed the jug on the table and wrote on his piece of paper again, quickly scribbling out a few words.

"Thank you very much. You shouldn't have, like really. Anyways how about I crack this baby open while it's still warm. Then we can have a nice chat while downing this sake?"

Zack turned his body around so his back was to the kitchen island. He looked at the various cabinets trying to figure out which one was the one with the alcohol glasses. He shifted through four cabinets until he finally came to the one with fancier glasses. He took out two small glasses, looking like this:

http://www.oneinchpunch.net/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2007/01/bodum_sake_glass.jpg

Kiyoshi nodded following the Elite Jounin into the living room."Wow nice place." Kiyoshi looked over every little detail of the design with a keen eye, making mental notes of all the different materials and styles used for each rooms effect. Every thing seemed to flow together almost seamlessly."Who ever designed this place really did a nice job."

Kiyoshi took a seat across from Zack carefully sitting not to spill the sake. He felt the warmth in his hands as he raised the glass saluting his host, He took a sip feeling the liquid on his lips and the spicy yet smooth taste as it traveled across his tongue. Kiyoshi smiled as he felt the heat in his chest from it traveling down in his throat." Wow gramps you out did yourself this time."

Kiyoshi placed the half empty glass down and very carefully making sure it was legible wrote down a few ideas he had been thinking of before meeting and sharing sake with Mr. Sato.

" I hope the Sake is to your liking. We my grandfather and I have a goal and a want to give back to the communities of Sechie as a whole, My granpa and pop raised me to respect the power of being a shinobi and to use it wisely. A lot of times we have seen shinobi battles that can cripple the lives of the normal folk caught up in it. We want to give our time to help the normal people rebuild their lives and businesses that get ruined because of war and natural disasters. We had thought about staying here in Konoki but thought it would be a good way to help build better relations with other villages and nations people. We would gladly accept any aid from anyone wishing to volunteer there time or resources.

On a more personal note I do have goals that I believe being sponsored by your great organization would greatly improve my chances. Recently my eldest brother whom started the relief org with passed in an attack involving missing shinobi in a ramen shop located in hyouga. He was on a trip to bring some supplies to me where I was training at Ryuuzaka mansion with my teams Jounin Sensei Akito Lune. After that attack it confirmed my want to become an Anbu hunter nin for Konoki also to hunt down the ones responsible.

If you would like to sponsor me I would gladly work my fingers to the bone and put my life on the line for this company and this village. My skills as a shinobi of the village would be at your complete disposal. "

Kiyoshi handed the note to Zack he looked it over and noticed the length of what he wrote."Geeze I gotta stop rambling on in my writing." He took another drink of the sake and watched the expressions of his host as they read the note.

He took a few minutes to write, occasionally taking a pause between sentences to think about what to say and how. He finally finished his thoughts on the paper and turned it so that Kiyoshi could read it.

"I would very much like to help your company. I could assist by granting you almost any of the supplies you would need. Just because we are a weapons company doesn't mean we don't produce stuff that helps people. So consider me as your sponsor."

"I can see a great friendship growing between our companies. Actually not just our companies but us. You seem like a very down to earth induvidual. You can stop by any time and you are welcome. If you need a place to stay there are plenty of apartments."

Kiyoshi got a wide grin on his face as he contemplated things in his head. This day was turning out to be awesome on very many levels. He looked over and smiling while reaching in his bag again. He pulled out a large scroll and unrolled it on the table.

Kiyoshi wrote frantically while smiling ear to ear. The alcohol causing things to pop into his thought process that normally wouldn't just pop up. Kiyoshi was having a blast and his excitement about what was on the scroll could be scene in his expression and his body language.

" This is a project I'm working on with the old man, He has a bit of land near a waterfall in scenic Konoki where we train or families taijutsu. Well the oldman had these plans just laying around cause he didn't want to ask my pop to come build it for some reason. I think maybe he was letting his pride get in the way or something. So anyways before I start rambling again.

I started building it. A few friends and one of my teammates had stopped by to train suimen and Kinobori, So I got em to help clear the area using Kinobori to fell the trees.

So anyway after my brother died I moved in with my gramps so no one would try to come harm me and end up harming my family again. I guess its part of the price for being shinobi.

So yeah this is going to be Konoki's Iron Forest Dojo. If you ever need a quiet beautiful place to get away for a while and enjoy nature the Dojo's doors and our hospitality will always be open for you. Your one of Kinokis greatest heroes and one of mine from the stories my gramps told me. This is a bit of a dream come true getting to sit and have a good time sharing a bottle of sake. Sorry for rambling again. I always feel like there is a ton of things to say but well I can't. "

Kiyoshi chuckled a bit at the last sentence as he passed the note over sipping the Sake being careful not spill any on the blue prints. Kiyoshi continued smiling half from the nice buzz that was forming in his head and half because he was living out a dream.

Zack began to write again, he was actually running out of room on the paper.

"Sounds interesting, I will definitely check it out. I would also like to meet your grandfather, he seems like a very interesting character." The elite jounin finished writing this and smiled. A small laugh escaped from his mouth and he began writing again. "I'm flattered that you call me a hero. But I clearly am not, I'm not even twenty yet. I mean, I've fought but that is my job. I guess my stories of good outdo the bad. But I'm sure you Grandpa wouldn't tell you the stories of the drunken escapades I've had with numerous women...."

The nineteen year old attempts at being humble were rather...pathetic? He was serious though, people view him as a hero but in fact he really was not. He had killed before, and he even had blood of innocents on his hands. That was the bad part of war. The fact that there were a few civilian deaths during his first invasion of Nagare brought nightmares to his soul, but he carried on.

" The old man was supposed to meet me here earlier he might be on his way by now. He was supposed to come so I wouldn't have to resort this method of communication. He didn't really get into the stories of your drunken escapades with women although I'd probably would've enjoyed those."

Zack wrote this quickly on the paper. After he got up and walked over to the island in the kitchen. There was a stack of mail that he recieved this week and he shuffled through it. A couple dirty mags, some business mags, some bills and mixed in was some other junk. There was one open envelope though with fancy writing on it. Zack took the card out of the envelope and walked back to his spot. He slid the card across the table for Kiyoshi to read. Then he wrote on the paper again.

"A Valentines Day Ball. I was never into that crappy holiday, although it did get me laid a few times. But anyways, I get one guest. Interested in a trip to the lovely island of Sato?"

A smirk came across the elite jounins face. He figured he would make the kids dream come true if he had time.

Kiyoshi read over the note and his eyebrows raised, Kiyoshi nodded."Never been to Sato this is going to be awesome." He still couldn't believe his luck just getting to hang out with Zack was a blast and now being invited to a party in Sato. Kiyoshi wrote down on the note. " I'm down for some fun in the sun. With some alien island booty"

Kiyoshi passed the note off to Zack. "Some island girls huh. Nice."Kiyoshi's head was full of metal images of girls running around scantly dressed clad in their sexy swim attire. This day kept getting better and better and Kiyoshi was going to roll with.

"Sato girls are different. Nice though."

Zack quickly scribbled on the paper. Since the ball would probably need proper attire, Zack excused himself and went upstairs into his room. He walked over to his closet doors and opened them. The closest itself was pretty much a room itself. There were spots were a bed could fit perfectly, but for Zack it just held numerous clothes. Quickly Zack rushed to a section with expensive suits. He grabbed two, hoping one would fit Kiyoshi and then he headed downstairs. He handed Kiyoshi the extra suit and then changed himself.

Kiyoshi took the suit he was offered looked like it would fit perfect. He quickly changed and packed his extra clothes into his pack. Kiyoshi looked over at Zack with a grin after adjusting his cuff links. He saw his reflection in one of the windows."Wow we look pretty damn sharp."

He wrote down "Thanks for letting me wear one of you suits, It fits really nice plenty of room in the shoulders and all." Kiyoshi passed the note off, smiling he adjusted his collar and cracked his neck while he shook his shoulders out. Kiyoshi quickly checked himself in the reflection from the window again, before looking back at Zack and gave a nod letting him know he was ready.

As the boy changed Zack waited. He quickly got two bottles of water out of the refrigerator and held them. Once Kiyoshi was done he gave him a nod and tossed him one of the bottles. It was simply for their trip to Sato. Zack made his way to the front door and pressed his hand against it, this released the lock and made the door slide open.

"Let us go" Zack said outloud as he walked down the hall into the elevator and made his leave.

Jarvis walked into the reception area of Black Dragon Industries and approached the front desk. He was wearing his usual black suit, and carrying a matching black briefcase. As he approached the receptionist, he said, Hello, I am Jarvis, from StarLabs. I believe I have an appointment?

His appointment was with Hana, but he had forgotten her last name and didn't dare mention her by the first. So, he hoped the receptionist would be kind enough to simply look it up and direct him to his meeting.

Mishio walked into BDI's headquarters. He had been sent a letter by a Mr. Goji Yamamoto requesting his presense for a job interview. Mishio had jumped at the chance. Looking at the building, Mishio didn't get a good first impression of it. Sure, the building itself was impressive, but it looked rather... gaudy. However, it did nothing to lessen his good mood. Opening Kaimon for the first time during his training session with Tsubaka had really bolstered his spirits. He just hoped he would be able to do it again if he needed to.

Flash back
"What happened?" Mishio asked Tsubaka once he came to.

"Yea opened Kaimon. Da first Celesil Gate." Tsubaka told him. Mishio's eyes widened.

"The first celestial gate?" Mishio asked in wonder.

"You've erd of dem, I see. Tsubaka replied. He had expected as much. Den yah may already no dis, but we 'uman's arn't generally allowed to use our full power. Heck, not even a large amoun' of id. Da human body keeps it dat way to keep us from urtin ourselves. However, through lots a tough tranin, it can be done. Bud the body can get hurd from doin it. Since id was ya first time opening Kaimon, yer body wasn't used to da stress, even if ah hadn't knocked ya out, ya body would ah done it fer me." Tsubaka's eyes went serious. Rememer, da gates give yeah great power, but dey hurt ta use. Don't just activate dem fer da heck of it. If ya gonna open dem, do id fer a good reason."

Mishio nodded. "Very well."

Mishio took his mind off of what had happened at the training session the day before, and went back to BDI. Either someone has something to prove, or someone has someone to impress Mishio thought. He went up to the Receptionist's desk, to find her talking to an stuffy looking man. Mishio decided to wait for him to leave before addressing the receptionist.

After he spent a few days back home in Nagare, celebrating with his family and also learning a new jutsu, Akio decided to get a job. Something useful, where his qualities could be put to good use. He knew there was a BDI branch in Nagare, and that seemed like a good company. Still he didn't want to join the branch, but instead the main offices, because that's where the big possibilities were most likely waiting. And that is how he came to be standing in Konoki, in front of a huge, imposing building. It was the BDI headquarters and it was certainly making an impression on the surrounding area.

Business must be flourishing if they can afford something like this. I mean the Nagarian branch looked good enough, but this... this truly is a huge building. There seemed to be alot of people going in and out as well. After having finally stopped admiring the outside architecture, Akio calmly walked in the main lobby. He was headed for the receptionist's office when he saw a familiar face. He recognized him easily as he had seen him around the Academy at times, though not any time recently. Wonder what he is doing here...

He decided first stop and say hi to him before going about his own business. So he got closer and greeted him Hi there... They didn't really interact too much during their time in the Academy so he didn't try to get any friendlier than this. Besides he tried to remain as serious and calm as he could, if only to make a good first impression.

Hi there...

Mishio looked up. The person who said hi to him was boy who looked a little younger then him, and judging from his accent, was from Nagare.

I wonder what he's doing here. Mishio thought. With all the bad blood between Nagare and Kanoki, I'm supprised to find someone like him around here.

"Hello." He said back, in a tone that wasn't threatening, but not one that encouraged conversation.

The receptionist was first approached by Jarvis. She looked through today's appointment book. Quickly she scanned the book with her index finger, looking for either "Jarvis" or "StarLabs". She found it, and read the appointment note, seeing that it was for Hana. The receptionist diverted her attention back to Jarvis, telling him where to go.

"Ok Mr. Jarvis, Hana should be waiting for you on floor forty-four. She has her own office there. There are two doors on that floor, you want to go to the one that says Okiku Hana." The receptionist opened a drawer in her desk. She shuffled through a few things and took out a plastic card.

"This should allow you access to her office. You can take the elevator and go up right away." She said, handing him the key.

"Next!" The receptionist said, noticing that there was a line forming.

The man left, and the receptionist called "Next!". Without waiting for an awnser from the Nagarian, Mishio walked up and removed the letter from his cloak.

"I understand I have an appointment with someone named Mr. Yamamoto? My name is Mishio Aiko." He handed her the letter he had recieved to confirm this. He hoped he hadn't been pranked or anything. It would be quite embaressing if he had. And an annoying waste of time.

The boy responded to Akio's greeting just as simply Hello. He too didn't appear to be in the mood for talking right now. Just as well, since Akio didn't come all the way here just to socialize with another kid.

The receptionist just finished taking care of another man and called out Next! The young Konokian stepped forward and exchanged a few words after which he pulled out a letter from his cloak and handed it to her.

Akio would patiently wait for them to finish, before he would approach the counter and ask Hello, i am here for a job interview. I do not have an appointment but i believe i posses enough skills this company could use.

Both of the boys came up, first one introduced himself as Mishio Aiko. He had an appointment, which the receptionist confirmed in the book. The other boy did not have an appointment, but she would schedule him one.

"Well, Mr. Aiko you can go up to floor forty-three. Mr. Yamamoto's room is number sixteen." Her attention diverted to the other boy.

"As you can see, he is going to be speaking with Mr. Yamamoto. Just follow him, you can go together." She said with a beautiful smile on her face.

Mishio nodded in acknowledgment. He was slightly relieved it wasn't a prank. Slightly annoyed that the Nagarian had come without even scheduling an appointment, or being summoned to one. He was slightly surprised the receptionist didn't object, but he had little incentive to do anything about it, so he didn't.

Mishio went on the elevator, making sure the other kid had enough time to get in, and took it up to the 43rd floor, not saying a word to his companion, unless he tried to strike up a conversation. Once he was up, he quickly found room sixteen, and knocked.

OOC: Aye, for me, bold black means it's in common, green means it's in Kanoi. By the way afro, two quick questions. One is, is there a pool in the gym or something? Might be fun to use for Suimon training. Second is, where does BDI keep blueprints for all their products? 'Cause first thing Mishio will probably want to do is go through them looking for ideas.

(I assumed Mishio used Konoi to talk, but since i used Common, i guess you responded in Common, or at least responded in Common for me, right?)

The receptionist seemed nice enough and answered Akio As you can see, he is going to be speaking with Mr. Yamamoto. Just follow him, you can go together. Mr. Yamamoto, eh? So he's the guy in charge with recruiting people? Akio gave a slight bow as he thanked the smiling woman Thank you very much. Then he turned to follow the other kid. Well she seemed rather nice. Then again i suppose it's her job to be nice.

The two shinobi approached an elevator and got in. The Konokian pressed the 43rt button. Then the elevator doors slowly closed and they began their slow ascent without any of them saying a word. Still, the atmosphere wasn't really tense, since both of them seemed perfectly okay with the situation. Eventually the elevator stopped and the doors opened. Taking the lead the other kid lead Akio through the halls until they reached a door marked 16. The Konokian knocked as Akio just leaned against the wall waiting.

The door opened, revealing a average height man. He donned a blue suit and his hair was slicked back with numerous amounts of hair gel. His gentle blue eyes shifted between the two that stood in front of him, and he gave them a kind smile. It was rather surprising to see a business man so young yet so accomplished and smart.

"Hello." The man said in common. He made a waving motion to both of the boys, which was a sign to enter the office.

The office was a rather large square room. In one corner was a bookshelf filled fully, it was about four inches high and ran the whole wall. On the opposite wall there were various degree's and pictures. Near the center of the room was a desk. It formed an "L" shape and was covered in various papers, folder and other assorted stuff. Three chairs sat in front of it, and behind the desk was Mr. Yamamoto's desk. Finally there was a large window that on looked most of Konoki, it was truly a gorgeous sight.

"My name is Mishio Aiko. Pleasure." He said.

Can't you think of anything better to say? Asked Nishio.

Can you? Mishio shot back.

... good point. Seriously though....

Anything I'd say about myself would probably be something he'd already know. No one like this guy would request an interview until after doing some research.

That's true, I hadn't thought about that.

That's probably why I'm in charge.

(Awesome we'll have a fully equipped gym in that case lol)

A few seconds passed after Mishio knocked before someone opened the door. The man that stood in the doorway was rather young though wearing a business suit and obviously taking great care of his appearance. I suppose it's to be expected of a high-ranking individual in such an important firm. Still i find his youth and appearance rather intriguing. Wonder if he ever used them to his advantage? Before he could analyze him any more the young man greeted them in Common Hello and at the same time gestured for them to enter.

Akio just gave a slight nod and proceeded inside the office. The room was actually rather spacious and well light. It also had a nice panoramic view of Konoki that Akio could barely notice from where he was standing. Other things though quickly caught his attention as he was slowly making his way towards the desk in the center of the room. Akio couldn't help noticing the degrees that were kept hanging on one of the side walls. He wanted to get a better look at them, attempting to see what exactly they were for but at the same time he tried his best not too seem to distracted by them.

Akio waited beside one of the two chairs in front of the desk before their host took a sit and invited them to do likewise So take a seat. I'm Mr. Goji Yamamoto. Human Resourses manager. How about we start with you guys introducing yourselves. Mishio answered rather bluntly something he could not understand. Is he doing this just to annoy me?

Still, deciding not to be bothered by such things Akio calmly answered Good day Mr. Yamamoto, I am Takahashi Akio and it is a pleasure to make your acquaintance.

"Well, Mr. Aiko and Akio, what positions would you be interested in?" The man looked at both of them, shifting his eyes in between. He quickly reached over to a blue coffee mug that lay on his desk. It simply read "Number-1 Dad!". Yet that ironic part was that he was not a father, at least as far as he knew. He got the mug just because of it's nice size. Anyways, he picked the mug up and took a sip.

"We have many positions we can fit you into, so don't try to limit yourself when you think of one." He said in common.

Edit: That's creepy, though in a good way. Thanks.

IC: Mishio shrugged. He realized his constant use of Konoi had bothered Akio, so he switched to common. He would have preferred to keep using Konoi, but there was no point in annoying someone who would possibly become a coworker very soon.

"Well, my background is primarily weapon making and designing, but there are a number of other roles I could fill if necessary." Mishio felt like the man was going around in circles, but there wasn't much he could do about it, so he decided to play the patience game. Especially ones that would require a shinobi.

Mishio listened to Akio's awnser. His opinion of the Nagarian dropped a few notches.

He used at least five times as many words as I did, and gave even less information. Mishio thought angrily.

I think we know the term for this Mishio. It's called "making a good first impression." Which I might add, you are probably failing mierably at. Nishio responded.

But he didn't even give Mr. Yamamoto any spesific awnsers. Heck, did he even awnser the question? Mishio replied.

What does that have to do with it? Nishio shot back.

Look. I don't need any fancy speeches to get myself hired. I've said what I need to say, I'm qualified to do what I'm qualified for, and I'm ready for what I'm ready for, that's all that is important. He's probably done background, so he knows who I am, and what I can do. I have the skills, I'm not afraid of the work, and I'm pretty sure I won't screw up.

(Hey, how come he's mr. Aiko -last name- and i'm just Akio -first name and not even a mister-? Why??? Nah... just joking here)

Well, Mr. Aiko and Akio, what positions would you be interested in? the man asked the teens. Not really waiting for an answer he reached over and got a big cup of what looked like coffee and brought it to his lips. The fact there was a Number-1 Dad! writing on it did not escape Akio's notice. Although he did wonder how come such a young person could be both a successful businessman and at the same time a reliable family man, he decided not to ask this yet. It was after all their first meeting and moreover he was trying to get a job from him. Asking personal things to a potential employer was surely not one of the smartest things anyone could do.

We have many positions we can fit you into, so don't try to limit yourself when you think of one, mr. Yamamoto added after he took a sip. Before he had a chance to answer, Mishio already went ahead and started talking. What's more he did so in common to Akio's surprise, thus allowing him to finally understand what it was that he was saying. Well, my background is primarily weapon making and designing, but there are a number of other roles I could fill if necessary. Especially ones that would require a shinobi.

Akio however did not answer right away. He knew such a question might pop up yet he didn't really come prepared with a list of answers. Because of this he took a moment to think about what he was about to answer.

Mr. Yamamoto, the Black Dragon Industries is without a doubt one of the biggest and most important companies in all of Seichi. Simply being part of such a company would be considered an honor by many. Such a big company though would surely not have lasted had it not employed some very talented people. I too am here to offer my own talents to this great company, talents that i'm sure will be well used and appreciated.

My shinobi training would allow me to be a decent bodyguard for some VIPs or perhaps even some of the CEOs. I am hoping though not to be used simply as muscle and maybe once in a while be given a few other tasks as well. One thing i can promise you mr. Yamamoto is that i will give 100% to achieve whatever task is given to me, no matter the price. That is the kind of devotion i'm willing to offer, and if i may be so bold as to imply that it is also the kind of devotion this great company deserves.

Content with his little speech, Akio stopped and continued to look straight in mr. Yamamoto's eyes, at all times keeping a very serious face.

"Well then..." Yamamoto mumbled. He opened a desk drawer on his right and shuffled through a few papers. They were consent forms, forms for legal matters and other things that just required signatures. Yamamoto made sure to get copies for both of the men. Before he handed the forms to the shinobi he filled out one spot on each. They were rather vague descriptions, but on Mishio's he wrote "Weapon Design" and on Akio's he wrote "Security" next to where it was printed "Profession:".

"I hope this is what each of you are interested in, if not just cross it out. This paper won't limit you to whatever "profession" you choose. As you know BDI is a very friendly and open business in regards to their employee's. I might as well make you aware of some of the benefits. Health care, access to exclusive weapons and technology, access to weapons earlier, invitations to Mr. Sato's private events, and of course Mr. Sato will have your back."

Mr. Yamamoto pushed the papers towards the two, and followed through by handing them some blue ink ball point pens.

11-03-2009, 03:15
Mishio nodded. He had expected as much. All in all, it appeared to be a good deal. access to exclusive weapons and technology, access to weapons earlier. I guess it will only give me more motivation to do my best. Nothing wrong with that.

"Sounds good." Mishio said as he signed his name and information on the forms. After another nod, he walked out.

After hearing both the teens, the businessman reached into his desk and retrieved a couple of papers. He scribbled something on each of them and then handed them over, one to Mishio, the other to Akio. Akio quickly started reading between the lines Contract... BDI... Security... signature... some fine print... Well i guess by signing this i'll officially become one of BDI's employees. Not bad...

While he was preparing to fill out the form, Akio still paid attention to mr. Yamamoto who was now going over some of the benefits they would enjoy. From what he just read earlier some of the benefits were already stated in the contract, but apparently there were also some of them that were of a more unofficial nature. Private events? The big boss having my back? Whether this is true or not, it does indeed sound good. He finished signing his name and handed back the consent form and the pen.

Then he got up, gave a slight bow and excused himself as he left the office. Excellent... to think this went so smoothly. Well, i might as well go and celebrate the fact i now have a job in one of the biggest companies in Seichi.

Misho had gotten in the previous night, after the strange meeting with "The Merchant." Knowing he might show up soon, he decided to forgo training outside and decided to simply make use of the gym. Taking the elevator down to floor 46, entered the gym.

It was a pretty nice gym actually, there were already some employees there, who Mishio ignored, but it wasn’t crowded. Thankful for that, he got to work.
Mishio started with pushups. He could do normal pushups, so he decided to add a few twists to them. At first, he did normal ones, but not for long.

After about thirty seconds, he switched to doing them on his knuckles, rather than his palms. For people who didn’t do them very often, knuckle push ups were quite difficult, since it involved putting most of your body weight on only your knuckles. However, Mishio was used to them, and over the years, he had developed calluses on his hands, so they didn’t bother them whatsoever. The point behind knuckle push ups was that it made you exercise all the muscles that were used in punches. Normal push ups did that to, but not as efficiently.

Soon, Mishio moved on to one-armed push ups. He couldn’t do push ups on his knuckles, and with only one arm, but he was working on it. He did about thirty seconds on one arm, and thirty seconds on the other.

Deciding to give his arms a break, he moved on to crunches. Crunches worked a different part of the body- the abbs. Mishio’s abs were really the only muscles on his body that looked like they weren’t in bad condition. Mishio’s unusual muscle density made him look like a weakling, complete with semi-stick arms. However, they were much stronger then they looked. Unfortunately, it had never done much for Mishio’s confidence in his childhood, but he had gotten over that years ago.

After crunches, he started working on pull ups. They worked on a different set of muscles then pushups, so it was a good idea to do both. Grunting at the effort, he grabbed an arm bar that was attached to the wall and began to repeatedly pull himself up and down. By the time he was done with them, be was beginning to significantly sweat.

Mishio went on to jackknives. He had to lay down, keeping his upper body flat, and lift his legs until they were perpendicular to the floor, over and over. It was difficult to keep your body positioned the right way, and do the leg lift, so it was harder then it looked, but the Aiko could handle it. Deciding to take a break, Mishio went back to his room. He had things to make.

StarLabs has been working on these prototypes for the World Tournament. Unfortunately, we had little luck with the weapon you mentioned to my employer, Mr. Luthor. The... chakra cannon was it? The butler pulled out three rings from the briefcase: One in silver, bronze and gold. He also pulled out a brief memo explaining the capabilities of the protoypes.

These are the Championship Rings (http://www.theninja-forum.com/Vbulletin/showthread.php?t=23226), which we believe shall prove very prestigious prizes. Jarvis would then allow Hana to review the information, and hopefully reveal any projects BDI had on their end.

(OOC Afro: if there are things written wich you dont agree with, let me know I'll edit them out.)

Tsubasa felt hesitant entering Konoki. It was not that long ago that Nagare was attacked, and well at least some people from Konoki harbored ill feelings towards Nagarians why attack otherwise. That was one of the reasons Tsubasa did not go to the Christmas celebration which he got invited to some time ago. The genin never really got why these attacks happened, very little was known about these attacks. Well, history was never one of his strong points, so the genin might have slept through some of the lessons Safe to say that off course for whatever reason, the BDI post in Nagare did not make it through the attacks unscathed.

Feeling somewhat anxious he entered the city. Finding the BDI headquarters was not that hard, It was the tallest building in town. Keeping his eyes to the target he walked on quickly, as not to irritate passersby.

He entered the huge building through the main entrance, dumbstruck he looked around. “This place is huge!” The genin could not help but exclaim as he looked at the main foyer at ground level. Some people looked at the kid, so obvious that this was his first time here. Some those people smiled other frowned at his improper manners.

Tsubasa lowered his head, trying not to show is ignorance. He walked towards one of the many information desks that were set up to receive visitors.

“Hello.” Tsubasa said to the woman sitting behind the desk. “I am here to pick up a weapon.” He awaited the woman’s reply.

The woman looked the genin up and down for a second, straightened her glasses and said in a dull bored voice “Your name and order verification please.” Tsubasa looked for his letter, and quickly gave it to the lady. “My name is Shinku Tsubasa.” The boy said to the woman. She read the letter quickly and said, “One moment sir.” She walked away for a second, and after some minutes later she returned, with a package. “Here you go sir. Sign here so we can prove you have received your package.”

Tsubasa quickly scribbled down his name, and accepted the package. He paid the ryo that was needed and that was that. He could not wait to see what his new blowgun could do. It looked a bit bigger than his old one. Happy with his new weapon he walked outside and quickly left the village.

A runnerboy came into the BDI building and handed a letter over to an administrator.

"It's for the boss," the boy said and left the building.

The letter looked official and had a Lune stamp where the letter should be opened, This to make sure that if opened before it would show.

If the boss would read the letter it would say:

To the OoiKage leader of Sato.

My name is Shinku Tsubasa a genin from Nagare, and need to file a formal complaint about goings on at the World tournament currently held in your sphere of influence. I am not a participating member and have very little gain from writing this letter. There is even a good chance that I am endangering myself if this letter falls into the wrong hands.

While I watched the first round matches I was witness to great injustice preformed by one of the organizing parties of the contest. Now I was unaware that they had so much to say in the actual matches. The one I am now referring to is named Lex Luthor and called sponsor of this event. During my time as spectator I heard him offer one of the contestants that he would make judges look away if this person would attempt and succeed to murder his opponent.

I quote his words here:

“I could arrange for the judge to look the other way while you kill him, if you like.”

When the genin involved refused more injustice followed. Besides the fact that he tried to dictate a shinobi’s job, he tried to convince himself and others that this was not a bad thing killing for personal gain. It continued by Lex trying to bribe/threaten his way out.

This is what he offered, and I will quote his words directly.

“But, what constitutes a good reason to? What if, for instance, I offered you great incentive to fight Sariso here? IF he wins, he gets your tournament seed. And if you win, I'll pay you the tournament purse under the table, for instance?”

After that things got weird. The genin who kept refusing the deals Lex Luthor kept offering all off sudden got called away by a judge from the tournament, not long he after he returned and accepted the offer, though this was not the genin himself, but a bunshin someone had made. A fight on the stands broke out and even innocent bystanders were attacked and accused. One of the other first round winners was also almost pushed into a new first round fight.

Because in my opinion Lex Luthor felt the need to feel powerfull he enforced punishments and the two genin (who had won their first round matches) got these offers:

The choices were:

1. Fight against either Sariso or Kajo. If you lose, they re-enter in your place
2. Your opponent chooses the arena for your next match. You'll also have to forfeit one of your weapons of the judge's choice.
3. Immediate disqualification

Now I am appalled that a sponsor could even think to offer these punishments, for though he may have donated money to this event, he too was just a spectator. Especially after all the things he had said before. I believe there were tournament rules and I do not believe that those two genin had broken any of them. So why does this Lex Luthor have the right to enforce this.

The uninvolved genin who had just been an innocent bystander got dismissed from these choices.

The genin Akio Mishio had no choice but to accept since threats were made earlier, he caved. But he was forced to fight his first round battle once more just because Lex Luthor said so, and someone who had already lost got a new chance to proceed. I believe that this is a grave injustice and should be dealt with forthwith. There is still time to intervene since this battle has just begun.

I will send copy of this letter to the Kazekage and BDI, incase this letter does find itself entering the wrong hands.

I hereby declare to have given a truth full statement of the happenings around the World Tournament public stands. As a side note there was a member of the press there who has been witness to the events as described above.

With regards

Shinku Tsubasa, genin of Nagare.

Home sweet home.

It had been a while since Zack had been in Konoki. The sights, the smell and the warmth gave him a new upbeat attitude. He loved this village and everything about it. Zack had a particular destination he needed to reach inside the village, and that was the Black Dragon Industries building. There was important business to be done and Zack needed to speak with Hana quickly. Many problems made themselves prevalent in the past few months, and somehow Zack needed to address and fix them.

The Elite Jounin weaved his way through the village and eventually reached his destination. He entered the large building and headed towards the receptionist. Zack talked it up with her, she was cute and did a decent job, even though her pay was low. She handed him a pile of mail, mostly bills and spam, but there were a few important letters tossed in there. Zack just pocketed them as he would read them later. Zack headed into the elevator and went to his floor/room.

There was really nothing changed in Zack's apartment. Everything that was there when he left was in the same place. He could tell the cleaning people had come and gone because the trash was taken and whatnot. Zack popped a squat in his living room. He placed his mail down on a small coffee table that stood in front of him. He then placed his hands together and did the jutsus "Human Radio". His voice traveled through chakra waves to the head of Okiku Hana. The message was short and simple, saying that he needed to meet with her ASAP.

About ten minutes later Hana came up. She was dressed in her normal attire and carried her designer handbag on her side. A small sigh escaped her lips as she sat on the chair across from Zack. Her face showed a look of disgust, but not quite.

"So look who has decided to show up. I hear you get arrested, then you disappear for quite some time. What the hell happened you fool." She said with a voice that lacked emotion. She was extremely pissed and Zack knew this by her attitude.

"Listen, it's a story for another time. We have more important matters to discuss. One. The factory in Nagare needs to be rebuilt. Two. A station in Sato needs to be build. Three and four. I need a few hide-aways. A building in the harshest part of Hyouga. And one in the desert of Rikuhi. Safe Havens I guess."

Hana's eyes widened. What was up with Zack, he seemed rather...paranoid? Safe Havens?! What was he running from? What was he hiding?

"What is wrong with you? The BDI buildings is fine, but hideouts! You aren't even supposed to have anything in Rikuhi or Hyouga. How do you expect to get away with that without breaching your contract with Star Labs?"

"It will be under someones elses name or we shall build it in secret, with no permission. Whatever works best. They need to be rather big though, big enough to hold a decent amount of people. Began the process and papers now for the Nagare building. The hidden buildings I'll work on myself. You're dismissed."

Hana, obviously pissed off, got up and walked out heading towards her office. Zack also got up, though he went to the window that looked over Konoki. He had heard some blast and some hustle and bustle outside, but didn't pay any mind.

Gramps found himself standing outside of Zack's window and gave a polite knock not wanting to have to go through all the hassle of going in and stopping at the front desk then the long elevator ride. He figured a shunshin and a little Kinobori would be plenty of hassle for the elderly jounin. Besides getting distracted by pretty girls was unimportant at the moment.

He stood out side on the wall finishing off his pipe while still holding a freshly warmed bottle of finest sake he had gathered on the way over. He had noticed the return of Konoki's favorite son and figured he would stop by with a welcoming home present as well as a progress report on some events that had taken place while he was away.

To Zack's surprise an old man now stood in front of him. The man though was on the outside of the glass, using wall walking to scale the building. It was rather a hike up the side of the building and the building was damn huge. Zack was amazed at this seniors talents, doing something that the young elite jounin had never dared to do. It was only right that Zack opened the window and let the old man in.

Zack slide the window to the left, opening it. A slight breeze blew through the apartment. This send the letters on the table scattered along the floor. Zack didn't worry about that, instead he extended his right hand to the old man to help him come inside.

"Welcome Gramps!" He said excitedly to his new guest.

"Ahh thank you Zack. Welcome back I have brought you a welcome home gift." He handed the still very warm bottle of sake to the Elite Jounin as he walked inside and onto the floor. "So I heard you had an audience with that hot little Kage form nagare. It is interesting how word travels to the ears of those who care for their contrymen." He would then notice the woman in the room and give a respectful bow to her. He walked over to a chair and took a seat.

"If you don't mind I think I shall rest my old bones a bit. So how bout we open this bottle of the finest sake Konoki has to offer. A lot has happened while you were gone. My grandson is now a recognized chunnin of our great village and is currently undergoing anbu training to be a part of our hunter division as well as took care of the damage to Nagare with the Relief org. So anyway lets drink shall we?"

He gave a warm smile to Zack and the woman while he found how comfortable the seats in Zacks penthouse were.Kiyoshi had told him how chic and comfortable it was and Kiyoshi was not fibbing. The old jounins bones felt comfortable immediately after sitting.

Zack took the sake with a big grin on his face. The bottle was warm and that alone made Zack's mouth water, he couldn't wait to open the bottle and down a few cups of this delicious drink. As the old man entered and made himself comfortable Zack went into the kitchen and grabbed to expensive sake cups. Zack came back and talked with the old man.

"Thank you for this gift. It is awesome, I already finished the last bottle that Kiyoshi gave to me." Zack paused and poured his guest and himself some sake. He wouldn't drink it quite yet though. "Yeah, she's a beauty. Really tough and smart to, and to be honest I wouldn't be surprised if the event was plastered on every single newspaper. Luckily nothing happened so it's all good."

Zack finally took a sip of his sake, enjoying it as it traveled down nice and smoothly.

"Tell Kiyoshi I said congratulations. It's good to see worthy shinobi rank up."

"I shall bear the news to him." He gave a warm smile. Then the old man hunched forward a bit sipping the sake slowly to savor it. He looked Zack in the eyes in his eighty some years of life he had become quite good at reading people even shinobi and he could tell Zack had a good heart. He looked the Elite Jounin in the eyes before speaking again.

"He looks up to you, you know. So do a lot of the villagers. Kiyoshi also really took the act of turning yourself in to heart. He said to me a lesser Shinobi wouldn't be able to sacrifice themselves for peace like you have. That is the kind of attitude that makes the Konoi shinobi the greatest in all the land Zack."

He raised his glass to his countrymen and took another sip. He wanted to give his words a little time to set before speaking again. "My time grows shorter I'm an old man now but it does my old eyes good to see Shinobi of your caliber and character to be in our home village. I can die knowing my family will still be safe. Be proud of who you are Zack even through the mistakes we make throughout our lives. They are after all as much a part of what makes us who we are."

Again the old man would drink down the sake."I have said what I wanted to say to you for being a loyal shinobi of our nation. Now while Kiyoshi is in training he left me to look over the business and the relief org. He had wanted me to ask if there was any projects the Jinnu may be able to help you with. He said he wanted to do something for you for being so generous and helping fund the relief org. He also said something about the objectives of those who would sacrifice themselves for peace are those people he would like to see prosper the most."

"I did what I had to do. I was caught red-handed, not manning up to my "failure" would of mad Konoki look cowardly. Anyways, turning myself in was a lot easier than having to fight the countless trash ninja that Nagare would of sent after me." Zack's eyes wandered around the room. He wasn't necessarily ashamed of being caught but the fact that he couldn't take over Nagare twice is what bothered him. He didn't hate the people of Nagare but he hated their ideals. For the most part they were warmongers. But then again, that could be said for every nation in Seichi.

The old man's proposition arouse at a most splendid time. This is what Zack needed. First he would need the old and original Nagare branch to get fixed, then throw a small outpost in Sato and finally his hidden enclaves in Rikuhi and Hyouga.

"This may be to much to ask but I need some buildings. State of the art ones none the less. I can fund the project completely, it would start in Nagare and branch to Sato. Then if the organization is willing, I have some non-BDI related houses that need to be made. Like I said, all of this would completely be backed by me financially. The only thing I would ask for is secrecy, not letting the locations or whatever get out."

Lionsbrew
14-06-2009, 18:37
The old man sat back in the chair and smiled as Zack had gone about the proposition."It will be done. Those employed by Jinnu are family and know what would happen if that trust would fail. As a family blood will always be thicker than water." He took a sip and thought of some of the past of the Jinnu and Haanta that Kiyoshi didn't even know of yet. Those things would likely be told to the chunnin at a later date when he would be ready for it.

The oldman finished his sake and placed the cup down onto the table before them. He put his hand up and stroked his beard in thought about how to go about it. He could send a crew to Nagare to repair any problems there easily. The out post in Sato wouldn't pose to big of a problem either. Now the unrelated houses those would actually be the easiest to accomplish He knew Kiyoshi had made some decent contacts in all three villages, with his ties to the Lune clan as well as Kiyoshi's involvement in Snow Patrol and the Kinsmen of the Shadows.

"None of that should be a problem Kiyoshi has made some interesting connections in those smaller villages. However keeping this as low key as possible shouldn't be a problem at all his reasoning for being in those places wouldn't even be questioned with our business. Ill send a Kiyoshi's oldest living brother as foreman in Nagare with a crew of workers. I am sure any of the employees there should be able to explain the requirements of their building needs to them. Hmmm do you think I should pick Kiyoshi up out of his anbu training to get him involved in this planning?"

AfroNinja
17-06-2009, 02:45
"Very good." Zack said delighted that the old man agreed so easily and quickly. He really wanted these things done soon, and as of right now time was very important.

"No need to get Kiyoshi involved just yet. His training should be priority and this village needs more fine Anbu like him. As soon as you guys are prepared and whatnot I will send my assistant, Hana out to Nagare. If you don't mind she'll help supervise and make sure everything goes smoothly. Not saying I doubt your skills." Zack didn't want to come off as snobby or anything. He just figured that if Hana was there she might be of some help.

Zack picked up his drink and finished it off. He poured a little more into his cup but just left it in front of him. He excused himself and went into the kitchen. Luckily the kitchen was fully stocked, most likely because he hadn't been home in weeks. Zack wanted to find something to eat that both his guest and him could enjoy. There was a bag of unopened mini-pretzel's. True ninja's munched on pretzels. Zack opened the bag and brought it over, taking a handful and offering some to the old man.

"So, what has been happening in Konoki lately?" spoke the elite jounin as he tried to make some small talk.

Lionsbrew

Gramps took a few pretzels and muched them down. They were the perfect drinking snack after all and to refuse them would not only be rude but foolish as well considering both men were drinking. He swallowed down his bite when Zack had asked what had been going on as of late.

"Most of the current events circulated around Konoki's favorite son of course. You have been the talk of the town for quite some time. There isn't really to much to report."

He chowed down on another pretzel and smiled. He thought for a few moments and his thoughts brought him to a conclusion about the pipe resting neatly in the crook of his arm like always."Mind if I get a little fresh air so I may smoke my pipe?" He had thought how smoking his pipe would be the perfect compliment to the sake's smooth flavor and probably improve his appetite a bit for more of those yummy pretzels. He figured he would step out onto the outside wall again if Zack didn't mind him taking a short smoke break.

Zack listened to the old man carefully. It was a shame that so much of the media's and towns attention was on his "warrant" and "arrest". The elite jounin shook his head in disgust. The village could be boring at times, but he still loved it with all his heart. After the old man told him about the news, he asked if he could have a smoke outside. Zack nodded his head yes. The Konokian got up and headed over to the window. It was already open from before and gave a great view of Konoki.

It had seemed that there was some fighting in the village. The signs were obvious; smoke, people rushing around, and most importantly there was a rise in Anbu presence. Zack stepped outside and clung onto the building using one of the most simple jutsu's taught, Kinoboori. He small sigh escaped his mouth as he scanned the area. He waited for the old man to come out and survey with him because at the moment he just didn't know how to handle the situation that surrounded him.

The oldman stepped out on to the side of the building and lit his pipe. He took a long deep puff on his pipe while lighting it and getting a view of what had been happening. His old eyes couldn't see to far bit the sounds and fury below were a bit much.

"Can you make out more of what is going on? My old eyes seem to be failing me from this altitude."

He noticed a couple of the anbu in their cloaks moving about here and there. They didn't give themselves away much only a glimpse here or there as well as some smoke billowing. From this height the people must looked like ants to his old eyes.

"It seems that whatever was happening is done. I don't think it will be anything to worry about though."

As he spoke the Anbu moved locations, shifting from building to building. Most of them seemed to be gathered near the Hokage's Mansion and the Tree of Life. Finding them was rather difficult and an untrained eye would simply just pass right over them. Zack on the other hand could keep up with their movements and only assumed that the old man could too.

"If that was an attack on the village I honestly cannot believe it. Konoki is usually never attacked so either someone has a really big hatred for us...or...who the hell knows. Good thing the best shinobi come from Konoki. I'm sure if it was an attack it was stopped right in it's tracks." Zack said this with a big smile on his face. He was very confident in the ability of Konoki nin. They were the greatest, born and raised to fight for the pride and safety of their jungle village.

The oldman Kept a lookout for anything else out of the ordinary. When they pair standing out on the wall of the BDI building were joined by a familiar even if fairly burned face. Kiyoshi stood before the old man and Zack his body pretty burnt and his chest bandaged up as well as his forearms.

He began signing to the oldman first who nodded a few times and puffed on his pipe. Then a few signs were flashed back and Kiyoshi nodded then bowed to the oldman and Zack his head hanging a bit low. Kiyoshi was still feeling the shame of having been beaten and the culprit getting away , he formed the seal to shunshin off again and was gone.

"Interesting times we live in indeed. It seems my grandson had a run in by the aviary with whomever was foolish enough to attack the village. He gave me a description of the attacker. Said it was a red haired missing nin with eyes that changed from one color to another. He also said he was sorry he could not stick around he felt a bit of shame for not being able to capture the assailant.....What do you make of it?"

The oldman stroked his beard in thought while puffing away on his pipe. His eyes showed the gears turning in his head as the old man pondered what was going on.

Zack's eyes watched as Kiyoshi popped in front of him and the old man. It was a solemn moment, Zack had noticed that Kiyoshi wasn't his normal self and he would soon find out why. After Kiyoshi took his leave, Gramps explained that he had been the one fighting. More importantly though the attacker got away. Zack was sure that Kiyoshi probably put up a very valiant effort. Just because the attacker got away didn't mean that Kiyoshi failed. He protected the village from more danger and that was a very honorable thing.

"It's nothing. I'm sure Kiyoshi showed that guy why not to mess with Konoki. He retreated, he was clearly afraid for his life. If he attacks again I'll get him with one hit." Zack said in response to the old man. He was pretty confident and hell, he had the right to be. No one battles Zack in his home court and wins.

Quickly changing the subject, Zack reverted back to the conversation from before.

"'ey. Lets start my project. Rebuilding in Nagare first and then in Sato. Then the rest of it. The sooner it's done the better, and maybe Kiyoshi can work out some of his frustrations..."

The old man nodded and smiled at Zack's words."That sounds like a good idea. I will have Kiyoshi get right on it." He nodded to Zack in agreement."Come to think of it. I Think Kiyoshi wouldn't mind another trip to the Nagare he does have a few connections in that village."

The old man stroked his beard after speaking. He finished puffing his pipe and lightly tapped the ashy contents from the bowl piece into the wind.I will have Kiyoshi briefed momentarily and send him and a crew on their way to Nagare as soon as possible."

The oldman gave a polite bow."Enjoy the Sake I should go get Kiyoshi to work, Nothing like putting your shoulder to the grindstone to strengthen ones resolve." He smiled and waved as he walked down the wall a small ways making a hands seals and vanishing in a track of leaves blowing from the side of the building.

"Right. I'll meet you in Nagare." Zack said before the old man went on his way. Zack quickly entered back into his apartment and sat on the couch. He did a flurry of handseals which would activate the jutsu Human Radio. He notified her that they needed to head to Nagare. He'd meet her at the old BDI factory that was recently destroyed in the attack on Nagare. Although Hana could not reply he knew she was going to be pissed. He prepared himself for the worst from her.

Quickly the elite jounin rushed into his room and grabbed a leather suitcase. It had a monogram print on it with the letters "LV". He put a couple of tee shirts in it, some jeans and some ninja uniforms. He also packed a couple scrolls fully of various weapons. Finally he opened one of his draws and grabbed a stack of large bills. He placed them in his pocket and left his room. A quick elevator ride down, then exiting the building, and finally exiting Konoki, Zack made his way to the most hated land of all- Nagare.

Mishio had a few pretty good ideas by the time he returned from the first part of the ANBU exams and Suimen training. He made his way past the front desk and went up to his room. When he got to his room, he noticed there was a package at his desk.

About time. he thought. He opened it, to find a small case containing a number of black pills. They were a little something he had ordered after his first WT fight- pills that allowed him to keep the gates open longer then he ordinarily could. The only drawback being that the effects got quite a bit worse. He’d have to be careful when using them. Grimacing slightly, he put the case back on his desk.

After taking a shower and changing his clothes, he got to work. He knew that equipping adder-stings with flash bombs could be a tricky business. They had to be small enough not to hamper the shuriken’s flight. He’d need specially made flash bombs. Luckily, that sort of thing wasn’t beyond his skill level. With his eyes furrowed he got to work.

About two hours later, he was finished, it had been a bit difficult, and he had some trouble finding the right parts, but not too much difficulty. Grinning slightly, he pocketed the upgraded shuriken and took a nap.

OOC: Killing some time until my next custom can be submitted/approved. And attempting to revive the thread.

IC: A lot had happened since the last time Mishio's rper had posted in the BDI tower thread. Heck, since anyone had posted in the BDI thread. He was now a jonin, and head of Weapon Design. Quite a jump for someone who hadn't actually rped that happening. Aw well. The thread looked lonely, and Mishio's rper wanted to kill some time, so he decided to try reviving BDI's primary IC thread. Perhaps someone would come along and help?

Mishio was in his office at BDI, dealing with paper work. Being head of Weapon Design meant he had to review a lot of other people's ideas, and either giving the go ahead to start developing prototypes, make some revisions first, or simply forget the whole idea. It wasn't a fun job, and he tended to do his work at irregular intervals: his shonobi work and training took up a lot of his time. Fortunately, Mishio had a fairly good work ethic, so he rarely wound up too far behind. Still, he kept him busy and with less time to work on his own ideas for weapons then he used to.

I guess that's just how the cookie crumbles. He thought, finishing up a long list of potential revisions for one proposal before going to the next one. Though I still reserve the right to complain about it every now and then.

It had been rather slow at BDI lately. No requests, production was sluggish and was overall just rather dead. This would probably change in a few weeks once the Christmas Ball would start, but for now it was deader then Rick Moranis' career.

Hana decided to venture out of her plush COO office and wander around the building. Connecting with your employees was always a smart thing to do, whither it be the higher ups or the guys at the bottom of the totem pole (although Hana usually left the factory visits to Zack, because she got sexually harassed to often.) Hana this time was wandering the offices of some of the more higher ups, heads of marketing, weapon design, customer service, etc.

The COO of BDI made her way to the office of Mishio, knocking on the door before entering. She would wait for him to allow her in before going in and sitting down.

IC: Mishio continued with the paperwork. As he did, a small animal lay in the corner, trying to take a nap and failing. After sometime of attempting to fall asleep, Nimitz finally lost his patience and started to complain.

"So how long are you going to keep working."

"For a while longer. You know I'm behind."

"Since when did that stop you from doing something else when you wanted to?"

"Since I was promoted. If I don't do it now, it's just going to build up again."

“You do realize that if you ever do manage to get caught up, they’ll just increase your workload, right?”

Fortunately, Mishio was saved from having to answer that by a knock on the door.

“Will you get that for me?”

“With what, my imaginary opposable thumbs?”

“… fine.”

Mishio stood up, walked over to the door and opened it. He figured it was either another one of the department heads, here for an important discussion, or a secretary with more work for him to complete. To the jonin’s surprise, it was Hana, the COO of BDI herself. What’s this about? He wondered. He’d met her before, but only during business meetings and the like, so he didn’t know her that well.

“Oh, it’s you. Come on in.” Mishio opened the door and waved his hand in the general direction of his extra chair, indicating for her to sit down. Once she did, he did the same behind his desk.

“What can I do for you?”

Hana would enter and sit down, reaching into her handbag and taking something out, then placing it on the floor and crossing her legs. She would slide and invitation to the Konoki X-Mas Ball on the table directing it to Mishio.

"Well as you may know Zack hosts this every year. Usually we give away little trinkets, and being our head designer I was wondering if you wanted to help design this years weapon. Obviously it has to be Christmas themed although this shouldn't take away from it's usefulness."

She would again reach into her bag this time taking out some of the previous years items (taken from the BDI archive) that were given out. She would place them on the table for Mishio to inspect and study.

"Let me know if you are interested in the offer, we'd love for you to work on them. Maybe you could even collaborate with Zack."

Mishio
12-11-2010, 19:57
Hana didn't waste time, and got right to what she wanted of him. Mishio was perfectly fine with that: he didn't have much in the way of time to waste.

The Christmas ball? Hmm... He hadn't actually been to it before, primarily due to his antisocial nature, so these items were new to him. As his mind went to work, he took a look at the items in question.

Mmkay, Christmas-themed promotional items. That's not too much of a challenge.

"If they're just regular items that have been aesthetically modified to suit the occasion, it shouldn't be too hard. I've got two ideas already: snowflake shuriken and multi-colored flashbombs. We could make the each shuriken uniquely shaped: the same way no two snowflakes are exactly alike. And the flashbombs could release flashes of Christmas colored light. Green, red, you get the idea.

Still, they'd be nothing but novelties. Coming up with something that would actually be more useful then their standard-issue counterparts would be a bit harder." The jonin pursed his lips and started tapping his desk, appearing to be deep in thought. Despite the casualness of the event he was designing them for, his mind was already going into overdrive.

It's definitely been way to long since I came up with something.

Hana would again look into her bag and this time take out an envelope which was stuffed with an invitation on the inside. She would again put it on Mishio's desk for him to take.

"Here is an invitation, obviously you're invited and can bring a guest. It should be a fun event as it is every year usually. I can't exactly remember but have you been in years past?"

ooc: Horrible post sorry D:

Mishio nodded. He'd expected such an answer. The chrismas ball was a big even for BDI, in some cases, it was the only reason some individuals knew BDI existed, though that was a bit depressing, now that he thought about it.

"Figured as much. The shuriken probably won't be a problem, except for potential production costs, but I can think of a few things that can minimize that without killing the actual item. The flashbombs may be a bit harder, but are probably doable. As for Zack, I'll write up some preliminary designs and send them to him." He wasn't surprised by Hana's lack of technical expertise: she was a business woman, and from what he'd heard, a good one, not a weapon designer. But hey, to each was to one's own.

He took the invitation with a murmur of thanks, but his expression was that of someone who was trying to decline it without actually saying as much, and failing.

"I might go, but to be honest, it's not really my thing. We'll see how things are when the time comes around."

Hana was a good judge of character and could tell Mishio was either anti-social or extremely shy. She would want him to come though, she wanted all the employees to come and have a good time. Now she wasn't going to force him to go in fact the only thing she really could do would be convince him, but that seemed utterly pointless at this point. Either way she would just be friendly with him, hoping that this high ranking member of the company change his mind.

"It will be fun. I hope you make it, it will be a great event to find some potential business partners. Anyways..."

The woman would glance over Mishio's desk. It seemed it was packed with work although she couldn't tell or exactly care what, she would make light conversation on the subject.

"Sorry I interrupted though, what is it your are working on if you don't mind me asking?"

Mishio
14-11-2010, 01:55
It appeared Hana was still trying to make him go, but wasn't going to force the issue. Good, people who did that kind of thing, ie his brother, only ticked him off. The fact she was willing to step back and let him decide was a huge relief. Instead, she turned toward his desk and asked about what he was doing.

"Reviewing potential product designs, courtasy of BDI's weapon designers. I have to review all of them, give the good ones the green light for prototype development, suggest revisions to the ones that need work, and kill the ones that are just plain fail." Mishio took a few seconds to massage his eyelids. While he did, his rper observed that the jonin's words made him sound a lot like a mod, whatever that was. "I hadn't realized that being in charge of weapon design meant mostly going over other people's work. Anyways, I ought to get to work on those chrismas items."

Mishio took out a blank sheet of paper and a pencil (he never worked with a pen when he could avoid it) and began making a few concept sketches for the shuriken, with a short list of notes that Zack or whoever else read it would consider important. His drawing was competant: it wasn't difficult to tell what it was supposed to be, but he lacked some of the detail a professional artist would have included.

"Ah I see..." Hana would say in response to Mishio's statement about working. From the vibes she was getting it seemed he wanted to wrap this surprise meeting up and start working on the BDI Christmas items. She would let him do that but before she left she wanted to propose another idea. Sure, she could of ran the idea without his permission but she wanted to get the head weapon designers opinion as he was important to the company.

"I know this is random but I think we might need to hire some more weapon designers. Production has been slow, and a couple more wouldn't hurt. Maybe you could take an apprentice." She would say, she wasn't implying anything towards Mishio but rather was implying how the company had been at a standstill for a few months.

Mishio mulled over her suggestion of hiring more help. It had its merits, but probably needed to be executed with care.

“That’s not a bad idea: production has been pretty slow, and an increase in help will probably stimulate at least some business.” His expression became a tad grimmer. “But make sure whoever you hire actually knows what they’re doing. Too many cooks can spoil the soup, and incompetent ones would only make things worse. As for taking an apprentice… I doubt I’d make a good teacher, or find the time to teach anyone properly. I learned weapon making from the ground up, which took years, so I’m not sure how to teach weapon designing.”
As Hana probably knew, he was a member of the Aiko clan, whose specialty was weapon making. As such, Mishio’s education in weapon making and designing had begun at an early age, and covered a lot more than simple designing: he’d learned how to forge a wide variety of weapons by hand, which was a major advantage in designing, since he had an in-depth store of info on how they were made in the first place.

After finishing off the preliminary concept notes for the shuriken, he quickly moved onto the flash bombs, writing a proposal explaining the basic concept of what he had in mind, and a few possible ways to go about modifying them. He didn’t draw any sketches for this one: the design for the flashbomb had been in existence for quite some time.

Once that was done, he put them in the "out" box on his desk along with a few other things. Someone usually came along and delivered them to their specified recievers once or twice a day.

"At any rate, there's something else I need to go and take care of, so I'll be seeing you." With that, he left, with one of the lamest exiting sentences ever.

With twenty different layers of stealth applied the same way he had used them in the Hokage Mansion, Alex would approach the formidable tower that belonged to BDI. Supposedly, this was also the home of famed Konoii elite jounin, Zack Sato.

Alex was not concerned. It was a tall building, so he would use twenty tags around the perimeter. He would walk around the building, laying the sealing tagsat the base of the ground, utilizing the undersides of windowsills, the backsides of bushes and rocks, the whole shebang. He would place five sealing tags during his first minute or so walking invisibly around the perimeter.

It should also be noted that due to their incredibly low proximity to the ground, should the windows be full wall windows, it would still not really be apparent. He had placed the tags to minimize their visibility on any surface.

While this was going on it seemed that a clumsy repair man had broken a pipe to a highly toxic gas. The alarms in the building would go off and a rush of people would come flooding out. The whole building was excavated (including Zack Sato who would flee Konoki for the time being) withing a couple of minutes and was dubbed to contaminated to be used for a while.

Unfortunately some idiot left a stove on in the cafeteria level of the building. This reacted with the fire and caused a rather large explosion, destroying a large chunk of the floors 45 and up. Most of the glass would break and fall towards the ground, luckily this area was evacuated except for the specialists who were working on the buildings safety.

It seemed the building spontaneously exploded from the top up. It wouldn't sell well on the black market in this condition, so Alex reclaimed his tags and left.

After a couple of months of tedious work, some delays and a very large sum of money the building known as the Black Dragon Industries headquarters was now completely renovated. After an unknown attempted attack and freak accident happened at the building things went pretty crazy and the upper tier floors exploded. Luckily the signs that it was going to explode were detected prior to the explosion so the building was safely evacuated leaving absolutely no causalities.

The new building, known as the BDI Tower II (http://www.theninja-rpg.com/forums/showthread.php?50945-Building-BDI-Tower-II&highlight=) looked nearly identical to it's older version. It was the internal structure of the building that changed. New and stronger steel had been used and the compound was made seal proof. Despite reopening today the building was hustling and bustling like it never closed.

At top of the building in the penthouse sat Zack. His room was renovated and looked better than ever. He would sit in a brand new chair looking over Konoki through a large window that gave him a fantastic view of Konoki. Man this was the life.

Rikku had concluded her other business, and was now free to visit an old friend. She walked into the Lobby, waving the the woman at the desk. The woman treturned the wave with a smile. Rikku simply walked to the elevator, and proceeded to ascend to Zack's floor. Atleast, she thought it would be, since the building closely resembled the old BDI tower.

It had been a long time since she'd seen Zack, she'd been so busy with opening and managing the Celador that she'd neglected to drop in to Konoki to pay Zack a visit. As the elevator finally reached the top floor, the doors opened up and the elevator made a 'ding' noise, letting her know she'd arrived. Stepping out of the Elevator she could see Zack enjoying the view of his new building.

"Long time, no see, Zack."

She spoke calmly and as if they'd only just seen eachother a little while ago, despite the fact they'd not met in years. She made herself at home as she walked over to the couch, and sat down, lifting her legs up and onto the sofa as she leaned back against the arm rest.

Just on the very edge of Konoki border, Revan was preparing to set his sails toward the headquarters of Black Dragon Industries. His hands would clap with each other as they progressed with few handseal movements, just for Revan to send the announcement of his arrival.

"I will be reaching your destination in few minutes, please remain there."

As the message went through the jutsu channel, Revan was swift to proceed with another jutsu, just to fade away in the manner of dozens of bats and fly away straight to the very top of BDI building. There, he would wait a minute or two before using another chakra trick to get himself into the building. With some Hiro Bansho magic, he successfully merged with the roof and unmerged on the other side, straight into Zack's office.

Without a single word exiting his mouth, he would quickly observe the stranger before throwing a deep look at Zack. It was obvious that he wanted to know who the person was, but didn't plan on making the first step toward the official introduction... After all, he wasn't one of those throwing their name around, whenever they could.

Well what a damn surprise. It seemed like a ghost had entered the room. Rikku was backed. And Zack, one who usually had a comment for everything, was actually at a loss of word. He would get up from the chair he was sitting in and would go over to his old partner in crime, greeting her with a big hug. He would follow this up by sitting down next to her and attempting to get some information about where she had been so long.

"You know I thought you might of died. I heard rumors that it was a Bakuto who opened that casino in the Fire Country but...well I never thought this would be happening." Zack would get up and head into the kitchen. He decided to make a drink and would ask Rikku if she wanted something. Whatever she said he would make and bring it back to her, along with a screwdriver for himself.

Upon entering his room he would find that another guest had entered the building although this guest opted out of taking the stairs or the elevator and seemed to of merged through the building. Revan, his once unknown enemy now turned good ally was in the building. It seemed that a little Illuminati party was brewing.

"Well then," Zack said taking a seat "Rikku this is Revan, Revan this is Rikku my most trusted friend. I guess is the first of hopefully many Illuminati meetings we'll have..."

With that said he would open the floor to both of his comrades. Whether they just wanted to hang around and shoot the shit or actually get business done, Zack was down.

„Nice to meet you, I guess…”

Getting his name thrown out just like that wasn’t something he was super happy about, but it didn’t bother him enough to cause any action from his side.
Like usual, he failed to remember the name of the female person Zack introduced him with, but that didn’t matter in the moment. If that person was of any use to Revan, her name would be remembered eventually…

As Zack opened the door, Revan would wait before proceeding forward. His lips would slowly move as he silently whispered a HR message to Zack.

“I am here for the seal, it would be the best if we could do it as quickly as we could… Also, how much I can trust this lady of yours?”.

In case everyone else proceeded to wherever Zack wanted them to go, Revan would follow.
But for the moment, he would maintain his position and carefully observe the stranger and interior of Zack’s office…

Rikku smiled as she was greeted with the hug. Zack had always been a good friend ever since she met him during her soujurn across Seichi. Opting in for the drink, she thought for a moment before making her decision.

"Three measures Tanqueray Gin, one measure Stolichnaya vodka, two dashes of orange bitters, a dash of Angostura bitters, and add a pinch of quinine powder. Shake it until it's ice cold, and add a large thin slice of lemon peel. In a cocktail glass, if you'd please?"

She spoke briskly, ordering the drink from the young man, who she felt confident could remember the order and serve it properly. The bitter martini's golden liquid stung her throat, but that's how she liked her drink, strong and bitter, very bitter.

As the drinks were prepared and brought back to where she was seated, she would take the glass, sipping from it lightly, testing the flavors, and was pleased to find it was made to her liking, although it could have been a bit more bitter, but she was fine for now, it was still the afternoon, so this made for a fine drink this early in the day. Afterall, she never had more than one drink before dinner, and she preferred that one to be quite large. She hated small portions of anything, especially when they taste bad.

Hearing him ask her about the Celador and her activities she couldn't help but smile, especially at his concern over her well being.

"Hahah, sorry to worry you. Procuring the funds for the Celador took me a while, as did the construction. I also had to get reaccquainted with Zen, back in Sato concerning the resort. I suppose as busy as I was, I just didn't have a chance to drop in on you again."

And that was her reason for being gone so long. Yep, she was just busy.... really, really busy. At any rate, it was at this point she noticed Revan dropping in, appearing from the roof. Ordinarily she'd be spooked, but given Zack's high profile nature and calm demeaner, she felt no need to be alarmed. Hearing him inquire about her, and seeing Zack cover the introductions, she smiled, raising her glass slightly with a nod from her head in recognition of him.

"Cheers."

She said, before bringing the glass to her lips again, and taking another drink. She heard him question how much she could be trusted, and given their professions, this was probably for the best that he took this approach. Too often were the younger shinobi apt to just give away too much information. Though he did sort of show a bit much of his hand, given his ability to merge with the environment, and also showed quite a bit of impatience with how he couldn't be arsed to use the elevator or stairs. But perhaps brevity was his business, and he had things to do, so time was of the essence.

Watching the two discuss something that appeared private, she sipped from her glass, standing and walking towards the window. She crossed her left arm over her chest, while holding her drink aloft in her right hand, enjoying the view from the tall building.

Zack would listen to what both of his allies would say. Revan seemed to be slightly paranoid by Rikku. Now this didn't really bother Zack, after all it was their first time meeting but he needed to break the ice for them somehow. He would do the handsigns for human radio and reply to Revan.

"You can trust her. Hell, she's probably one of the only people I really even trust..."

The elite jounin would go into the kitchen and take his trash barrel and bring it back into the living room. If Revan was going to receive this seal chances were his body would first reject it and cause him to throw up or some shit. The seal was strong but it also had strong effects when first put on the body. Zack would grab a thick sharpie and draw the seal up on Revan's chest then he would do the handseals and pump chakra into the seal. It would be now that Revan's body would most likely freak out, but once that was done the seal would be successfully on there.

After this was done Zack would sit on the couch next to Rikku and watch the Nagarean as he underwent the process of the seal.

"Okay, got it"

It really looked that the female in question was worthy of Revan's trust... And by the sound of Zack's words, she seemed even overqualified... Anyway, on the other side, it was time to receive the seal.

None of the involved wasted any time as Zack was quick to do his part. Due to the nature of the process, Revan couldn't avoid the fact that things were about to go really bad for him and it didn't take long for them to actually start affecting his body. The moment Zack's chakra surged through his body, he was quick to leave the room. If he was about to start crying in pains and vomiting around, he would rather do it in a place where was noone to observe him. As he was leaving the room, he managed to grab the can Zack brought and storm outside, just in the moment the intense pain tore apart his chest and made him violently hit the floor. For a good few minutes, he would lay down there, rolling around as he tried to ease his suffering, but nothing was helping... It was obvious that he had to go through it all and endure until the end.

And then the vomiting started... Nasty stuff, not a pretty picture... so it won't be described.

With the last of his strength, he would approach the nearby window and throw a look back. He wanted to make sure that noone is watching for the reason he didn't actually know... It was just something he did.

But anyway, he would toss the last HR message to Zack and tune in to Rikku's chakra, just before finally taking off and leaving Konoki entirely. He had something huge waiting for him...

"Thanks, I owe you... Have fun with the girl"

The last few words were followed by a slight chuckle, like Revan was meaning something more than he was saying. But that wouldn't matter for anyone who didn't understand the purpose of that action...

Rikku chuckled at the last words of the boy who left after going through a, quite frankly revolting, sequence of events. Assumedly Zack had just given him something or another, given what she had noticed form the corner of her eyes before she watched his writhing. Drinking the last of her admitedly complex drink, she sauntered back to the table near the couch she was previously sitting in, that Zack was now lounging in. Setting her drink on the table she grin wryly at the young man.

"Don't be a stranger you know. You should come check out the Celador sometime. There'll always be a V.I.P suite in your name waiting for you, should you ever choose to visit. But I've got to run, I have a business meeting with the Federal Board of Real Estate in the country of Sun."

And with that, Rikku walked towards the Elevator that lead up to Zack's Penthouse floor, pressing the down button. She turned to look at Zack again, as she entered the elevator.

"See you, Cowboy"

And with a twist of a smile, and a wink, the doors closed infront of her and she was away. And so ended the, albeit brief, reunion between herself and Zack.

OOC: Killing time. Up for whatever.

Mishio had been busy the past few days, and hadn’t had a chance to go to BDI. Such negligence could only result in one thing; paperwork build-up. His responsibilities as head of weapons design were somewhat numerous, and at times, overwhelming, especially since he had other duties as a shinobi and clan leader. Still, Mishio was usually able to handle it just fine. Passing by the front desk, Mishio went up to his office, choosing to run up one of the stairwells instead of taking the elevator, for the sake of the exercise. As such, he arrived on the thirty-somethingth floor breathing a bit heavily for someone with an office job.

After reaching the appropriate floor, he made his way down the hallways, nodding at acquaintances and colleges as they passed each other. After about a minute of wandering down this hallway and that, he made his way to his office, a mid-sized room that had enough room for his desk, necessary items like filing cabinets, and a few luxuries like two extra chairs and a lunchbox-sized icebox. Still, it was no bigger then what it needed to be, so there wasn’t a lot of room to move around in. When he needed to work off some excess stress or energy, he usually ran down the hallways for a minute, or hit the gym on the forty-sixth floor.

For now though, he had work to do, in the form of a moderately tall stack of papers and unopened packages. He didn’t have an extreme amount of paperwork; the fact he had a number of other duties outside of work was a relatively well-known fact among the other employees, so they didn’t go out of their way to burden him with more work then he could handle. But neither did that mean they let him off easy. Sighing, Mishio quickly sorted the various items into different piles based on estimated importance and urgency. When he was done, he pulled out a pen, selected a paper from the “most urgent” pile and started to look it over.

Mishio

Work work work, the work quickly consumed the entirety of Mishio’s attention. As if glued to his desk, the jonin flipped through form after form. Stopping occasionally only to pull out another file or form from the filing cabinet for reference. He didn’t stop until noon, and came back after only a short lunch on the forty-fifth floor. He wasn’t in the mood to talk to anybody or take his time eating, so he was back after a mere fifteen minutes. However, his focus eventually backfired, as his hand began to cramp from the amount of writing he was doing. Sighing, he stood up, put away the sensitive documents, locked his office and went up to the forty-sixth floor and spend about an hour on various exercise machines, particularly the bench press and treadmill.

When his work-out session was over, Mishio went back to his office and resumed working. However, the break had disrupted his concentration, and when he went to pull out a file, he mistakenly opened the wrong drawer. Instead of a detailed description of how different kind of bombs were made, he pulled out the blueprints of one of his personal projects from several years earlier, that of a guandao he’d briefly used as a genin. Rolling his eyes at his own mistake, Mishio was about to put it away, but he remembered something he’d told someone not to long ago, something he said he’d do in return for cooperation and diligent training. Maybe it’s time I made good on my promise. Mishio thought. After retrieving the file he’d origionally intended to, he put the blueprint away in one of his desk drawers, where he’d be more likely to remember it later.

When it was time for him to head back home, he put the paper, along with a number of work-related materials into a small briefcase and left with it, the wheels in his head still turning.
