History:
When Seichi was still in its feudal period, nine brave and talented Shinobi; Nagare no Quincy, Hyouga no Belmont, Sato no Alucard, Rikuhi no Hellion and Konoki no Laverne as well as four other unnamed ninjas came together with the purpose of forming the “Nine gates”; a small organization determined to reach their goal at all costs; bringing peace to Seichi. As this was a small organization; not many people knew of it; but those who did were mostly their ‘enemies’.
Without doubt; their quest was full of bloodshed, and within time; as other ‘good guys’ in Seichi discovered of their existence; they had virtually been painted ‘black’. Before they knew it; various Shinobi had started hunting them down and the four unnamed Shinobi were killed in the process. This resulted in immediate disband and ‘instinct guided’ hiding of the team’s members.
After a few years as planned, the 5 ninjas rendezvous on the Hyougaan mountains where they discussed about their fate. However; because the team members had spent the years regretting their ruthless nature during the ‘good’ times, and so…their discussion was almost totally disconnected from the issue of ‘war’, but of peace of mind. Eventually; the five decided that they would spend the rest of their lives trying to ‘mend’ the damage they had done…how? They dedicated their lives to understanding the secrets of life and then finding a way to balance any damage they had done…
However; the 5 did not go as one…Laverne and Hellion decided to ‘get lost’ practicing forbidden jutsu in a quest for communicating and invoking spirits, while Alucard, Quincy and Belmont found themselves practicing ‘Alchemy’…the quest for eternity…and gold.

Personality:
The Organization embraces knowledge at all costs; especially knowledge pertaining to the philosophy of life. Besides that; on a normal daily basis; the organization is calm and slow to anger; seeking to please everyone as they do all in their power to present themselves as ‘Friendly Neighbors’.
Goals:
-To create the Elixir of life; a poison or a jutsu that will enable evergreen youth forever.
We must outrun death if we must see the end of life – Sir Belmont
-Possession of the ability to turn basic metals into solid gold.
We only deceive ourselves if we say “A good name is better than gold” for what good does being a respected family overwhelmed in poverty when compared to a Despised empire of Lords… - Lady Quincy

Sages [Members who have proved themselves worthy by creating jutsu or poisons for the benefit of mankind]
Druids [Members who have proved themselves worthy of recognition by completing certain tasks]
Alchemists [Ordinary members]
