Keishi had returned from his team training, managed to put away Tsubaki safely before Minoru-hakase had grabbed him, telling his charge to get into a gown, the elder Ayatsuri had something he wished to try out and if the teen didn't hurry up he'd regret it. Of course, by this point in his life Keishi didn't even contemplate disobeying. Soon enough he was wearing the loose, familiar operating gown and being ushered into the operating theatre by Minoru's harsh hands.
Keishi's breathing remained steady as the familiar restraints were fitted around his body. A small part of him wondered what Minoru-hakase wished to do to him now, but it didn't really matter, so he disregarded such thought processes and barely noticed as the gas mask was placed over his face, the anaesthesia quickly knocking him out.
Minoru wasted no time once everthing was sterilised and prepared, the moment that Keishi was readied, he began carefully tracing a line across the teen's skull, chakra scalpels cutting through the flesh and bone quickly and efficently, creating a small hole in the younger Ayatsuri's head, exposing the brain to the Medic's view.
"Such a lovely brain, almost as good as a natural human can get, perfect for a living weapon" the 'good' doctor murmured to himself as he began carefully poking around withing Keishi's skull cavity, sterilised instruments delicately prying apart the the hemispheres of his brain to expose the area that he needed access to. Moving his way to the tray that held his newest creation, the small, sterile material covered in the tiniest seals that he could possibly have had created. If he were the sort of man that that gave credit where credit was due he would have been appreciative of the skill that it had taken to create such small seals. As it was, he was only appreciative of his own genius.
Holding the small wafer with metal tweezers, he eased it carefully into place, a tiny metal rod used to ensure that it rested precisely where he needed it to be before jabbing the tiny prongs into one side of his ward's brain, immediately sending his chakra through the conductive tools to ensure that the teen's brain healed around its new addition, also stimulating the prongs to meld with the flesh, becoming almost biological in nature. With that particular aspect of the neural interface, it meant that Keishi would avoid any brain damage should the device fail or become dislodged. Minoru watched curiously as the now biological prongs on the free side of the device seemed to reach out, before becoming embedded in the other hemisphere, already beginning to settle into the boy's brain like a symbiote rather than an engineered device.
With a sick grin on his face, Minoru would close up Keishi's skull, making sure that everything was in place to the best of his skill. It wasn't out of concern for his 'patient' of course, just practical. The quicker the subject recovered the quicker he could judge the success of the experiment and the quicker he could move onto new things.
Picking up the unconcious teen he carried Keishi to another room, tying him up and leaving nothing more than a sign that said 'If you wish to rest tonight, get yourself out' on it, for when he regained conciousness. The security cameras would record everything that the Professor would need to know, and he was a little peckish right now.
