Kotaeru would have arrived at his destination; a very ambiguous case in the Fire country where he had scheduled to meet up with another ninja whom he considered considerably far powerful than him. In fact, one who was much like a mentor to him. I hope you wont keep me waiting too much... He would enter deeper into the cave, looking around it as he scratched the top of his head.
Damn...I've made flaws already, that Rei girl is pretty much going to be a problem for me. If she is an investment, it might be worth the shot...but if she isn't promising, I might have to kill her...I guess I should take advice from him when he comes. Kotaeru would sit on a large rock and then grab his sword. Well...where is the Imperial?

Draven plummeted from the sky above and crashed into the dense forests of Konoki as nonchalantly as a man falling from the sky could manage. Like thunder he smashed into the ground, but with no more than even a sprained ankle, he walked away from the crater he had just left on the forest floor and made his way towards the meeting point. The big man was admittedly very curious as to why he had been called here, and a little annoyed as well. For obvious reasons he did not entirely appreciate this country, but that old grudge was pushed aside for the moment as Draven was also a little grateful as well. He had been pondering over whether or not he should start passing down his techniques to those he knew and trusted enough, like today's shinobi, this meeting might have been enough to convince him once and for all. Of coarse, when he arrived at the cave, he uncertainty spiked, mostly because testing out explosives in a enclosed environment was a tad bit dangerous, even for one as awesome as him.
Entering the cave, Draven made sure to place a ever watching eye within the entrance in case anyone had the foolish notion of trying to sneak up on them. Once he found the ambitious Nagarian within, he simply pulled back his shadowy hood and nodded at the young man as he withdrew a scroll from the recesses of his cloak, yet kept it hidden in his sleeves for now. It might have seemed strange to anyone who knew even a little about Draven to see him as comfortable as he appeared around a ninja like this, which wasnt that very comfortable truth be told, but there was something about Kotaeru that not only impressed the missing nin, but also intrigued him. The man had a plan, Draven just knew it, and he had enough will and power behind it all that it just might have worked. That was something that the imperial felt he was lacking himself, a goal, but that was neither here nor there. Plus he had Fuma to thank for these sweet ass shurikens strapped to his back. That kind of taste in awesomeness earned anyone points in the big man's eyes.
As Draven finished scanning the cave in that instinctive manner warrior's did with all their surroundings, he returned his gaze back on Fuma, waiting for him to begin whatever this was to be.

Kotaeru would smile a bit as he noticed a shadow at the entrance of the cave. He's here. He would stretch his legs a bit and would then nod in response as the masked imperial nodded upon entrance. At least if he couldn't trust any other one in the world; he had Draven. "Been a while Draven...while I wouldn't mind catching up on your escapades; I'm pretty sure you've got a busy schedule..." Kotaeru just spelled 'LET'S GET DOWN TO BUSINESS'...but he did it in a way that was nothing close to being rude.
"Where do you think we should start?" Kotaeru hadn't been handed the scroll, but he knew damn well that it was a useful technique, one that would virtually make him complete. As watchful as ever... Kotaeru would nod as the man looked around the cave. "All clear...by the way, I got myself into some trouble with one bee-using genjutsu criminal chick...pretty bad attitude she's got.''

Smiling under his steel mask, Draven motioned forward when Fuma made it obvious he was eager to begin. There was a sound Draven's trained ears were picking from further in the cave, and if he was right, it was worth checking out for the sake of the training. Despite being friends, the big man still wasnt much of a talker, but as he listened to the raggedly dressed young man continue on about his recent encounter, he felt compelled not to make it seem as if he were ignoring him. He tried to think of something cunning and worth saying to the ninja. "All shinobi have a bad attitude. Its how you, or they, exploit it that determines how 'bad' they are." he answered with an impassive tone as he journeyed deeper into this hole in the ground.
The sound of water would become clearer and clearer to the both of them as they reached the end, and even if Draven had been expecting it, he was still caught in a bit of awe at the sight that opened up before him. A massive, cathedral like opening in the cave suddenly sprang up in front of the two, its ceiling hundreds of feet into the air and shrouded in shadow being so high up. From where he stood at the mouth of the opening, he could see where the water seeped from the dark walls and pooled at the bottom, forming a small lake littered with islands of slippery rock and underground waterfalls filling the air with the sound of water clapping and spilling all around. Needless to say, it was surprisingly impressive for just a cave.
Without turning to Fuma, the missing nin's arm seemed to twitch, and in a blink, a scroll was in his hand. He handed it over to Kotaeru while he continued to observe the area he would be training in. "The one you wanted.." he told him as he patted the giant shuriken on his back "As thanks."
The scroll would go over a number of things, like how to interact with an explosive through one's chakra, how to mold that chakra to control the explosive and so on. it even explained how to use Kassei as a base for the following jutsu, Fuse Control (http://www.theninja-forum.com/Vbulletin/showthread.php?t=40875). It even had a way to spot an explosive which really had little to do with the jutsu, but that was for later. If it wasnt in the scroll, Draven probably knew the answer to it, so he patiently waited for his acquittance to get done and begin his learning. The two of them had a lot of shit to blow up, and he imagined there was a ton of eagerness between them to do just that.

"Heh-heh...the jutsu that blows!" Though he sounded excited, he wasn't loud enough to be heard beyond the walls of the cave. He would look at the jutsu scroll keenly as the Imperial went about with whatever he was doing. It's pretty much like Kassei...though I don't know that jutsu either. He would continue reading down a bit as the jutsu seemed to get more and more interesting. What do you know? It's simply cast with one hand as well...so convenient, I've already thought up some really sick combos in my mind already. He was going to get to making shuriken out of explosive tags with the paper shuriken technique; but that would all have to wait for now.
"So; I form this hand seal with just this hand..."[i]Seems pretty much like one hand when forming the tiger seal. He would act accordingly with an innocent smirk across his face...there was going to be so much to blow up today. Now...transmitting chakra to a remote explosive tag. Hey! I'd better get my tags out off me before I accidentally blow myself into smithereens. He would take off his explosive tags from where they were and would keep them aside. First up, he would take a single one and would place it considerably far from the others. I'll start with just one at a time I guess.
"Blow" Well I wasn't really expecting to get it on the very first try... To his expectation, his first try didn't set off the tag. I should probably give more to this training. "Got any advice on the basics of remotely setting off a tag?"

"Heh-heh...the jutsu that blows!"
"No, we are not calling it that... ever" He grumbled mostly to himself as the shinobi went about his task. Watching from a safe distance, Draven realized early in the process that Kotaeru may have been a bit too hasty in his attempt. It seemed he likely did not know of Kassei, the ground of this jutsu, and when the missing nin began to remove his explosives, the imperial was stabbed with an uncomfortable feeling of danger. Perhaps he should have done the same with this excited guy flinging detonation commands all over the place.
"Got any advice on the basics of remotely setting off a tag?"
By this point the big man was deep in contemplation as to how to not get himself exploded via this situation he himself had put himself in, but he managed to hear Fuma's question and replied with another twitch of his sleeve. This time, it was an exploding tag filling his hand. He held it up, expecting the other shinobi to do the same with his own. "To truly own something, to control it, you must first know it. Tags in particular are designed to be receptive to chakra. Flood yours, and learn of it through that way. Once you know how chakra and it will react, things will become clearer as to how to detonate them outside of your reach."
Of coarse, with that said, Draven would have his own seal up and ready under the confines of his cloak, prepared to defuse the tag should this training method go terribly wrong.

Kotaeru would chuckle a bit as the man objected to ever calling the technique 'the jutsu that blows'. Well, he did know why, and in reality, before he had said it earlier, there had been an inner struggle as to whether he should say it or not. Kotaeru would then see as the imperial held up an explosive tag, and he would pretty much do the same. I must know it...that's understandable. So what I have to do is actually figure out how an explosive tag feels when my chakra is upon it. He would do his best not to squeeze or rough-handle the tag in anyway; after all, he did know the repercussions...he would end up with one hand less, at least unless the Imperial saved him in some awesome way using the technique he was trying to learn at the moment.
Feeling the paper explosive, Kotaeru would pour his chakra into it moderately. He had heard the Imperial say 'flood' but there was some doubt to whether he had actually gotten the gist of what the man was saying. "It's pretty much an intuitive feeling, nothing much though, but I know my chakra's gotten this tag." He would then hold up his free hand and form the required one-handed seal. And here I-wait!!! I can't blow this stuff while it's still in my hand! Kotaeru would then look at the imperial with a dumbfounded face, hopefully the big man didn't realize the error he just about made. "So...I'm guessing from here, I just make my chakra give the 'kick' eh?" He would then drop the tag on the ground and move away from it while still trying to keep his chakra remotely in touch with it.
"I think I've got it...may I?" Smiling impishly he would perform the one handed seal and pause for a moment. "Katsu."

Draven, in the interest of time, decided to leave Kotaeru for a very brief moment in order to get some things done while he had the opportunity of a spare moment. It was surprising how much stuff he had to do these days, and how little time he really had. Quietly slipping out of the training area and leaving the other missing nin to his work, the big man made his way outside and began the summoning ritual. Not to bring a creature to this realm, but to force himself into another.
After a moment, Draven returned just in case he was still needed to overlook the training. He had brought another gift with him though, so it wasnt all rude that he had stepped out in the first place. It was something that would go well with the jutsu in fact.

BOOM! At the sound of the explosion Kotaeru would smirk once again with the knowledge that he had grasped one very fundamental part of the whole jutsu; blowing things up. While he looked around to see if the Imperial was pretty impressed he would realize the man had apparently taken a 'french-leave'. So he sneaked out...bah, knowing him...he most likely just waltzed out. Kotaeru would pause for a moment to see whether the man was just lingering around and then he would shrug. Guess not.
Reaching into the stack of explosive tags, he would pick up four of them and would walk about placing them a good distance from him and each other so that the explosion of one could not possibly cause the other one to detonate. Yeah...I guess that's a good distance; now to see if I'm pretty much up to the task. Right now Kotaeru was trying to ascertain if he was 'ready' to learn another aspect of the jutsu other than blowing up things.
"Here goes." He would raise up his left hand forming the required hand seal and would set his eyes on one of the tags. Bingo. He would wink with his left eye and then one of the tags would blow up as he had commanded; remotely. BOOM!Next one! In the next split second he would cause another tag to set off. BOOM! Here comes an innovative style. He would then focus on the last two and set them off at the same time.

BOOOMM!! As the last two tags on the ground set off Kotaeru would place his hands over his ears. I didn't think it would be that loud. Looking behind he would see the Imperial entering the cave once again. So...he actually ditched me, at least it was just for a short while. Now he would be feeling rather confident in his ability to blow up tags remotely so this time he was going to move on with the explosion containing aspect. This part is probably going to be harder. He would reach for his explosive tags stash and would pick out five explosive tags.
"I'm going to pretend you didn't just ditch me...in the mean time I'd be happy if you could give me some tips." Kotaeru would take two of the explosive notes and would fold them to form a shuriken using the Paper Shuriken technique. He would then pause for a moment thinking of where to throw it. Okay...so the moment I throw it and it hits that rock; it'd definitely set off...then I have to use this jutsu to contain the explosion.... Kotaeru would then decide on a rock and would throw the paper shuriken at a fairly large stone. Before the shuriken would collide with the stone he would throw up his hand forming the required seal and would apparently activate the technique.
BOOOOOMMM! Kotaeru's spirit sunk as he flopped.Okay...I just messed up. Fire with determination however he would form yet another paper shuriken using the last two explosive notes in his hands. I'm gonna make this one count! Throwing it at another stone he would perform the required hand seal and would await collision. As the shuriken hit the stone it apparently appeared to be ready to burst but then it became clear that he had succeeded in foiling its attempt to explode.

Draven's return was greeted by the familiar cries of exploding tags ringing throughout the cave, all shaking the walls with a fierceness. True, they were loud and had a habit of filling the ears of those unfortunate enough to be too close with endless chimes and bells, but the cave would prove a quiet enough retreat that no one on the outside would be too prone to come investigating all the random 'booms' going on. The big man watched wordlessly as Kotaeru began working on turning the tags into little shuriken, which was cute and all, but a tad bit pointless to someone who wielded exploding metal. That thought reminded the missing nin of what to train the Nagarian next.
Yah, I have a tip for yah he thought to himself as he coldly called out to the young man "Don't hesitate." It was the only warning Fuma would receive before Draven lobbed a shuriken of his own, or rather, Fuma's, right at the guy. The massive projectile would sink itself deeply into the slimy cave wall right behind the shinobi, and upon its four blades were four exploding tags. The demo man would have only seconds before the explosives went off, that included the shuriken itself. Spotting a bomb wasnt always as easy as using one's eyes, but if Kotaeru recalled his experience when he was exploring his tag with chakra he would be able to sense the same kind of danger coming from the metal that composed the large shuriken as well as the four tags.
Unfortunately, even if he succeeded to disarm it in time, Draven would only reply with a volley of exploding kunai. While most were aimed to take the ninja's life, at a gentle speed mind you, some weren't, and were sent it what seemed completely random directions. The test was to not only survive, but halt all the explosives before they had a chance to go off. Admittedly, this wasnt as difficult as the imperial's own training of the jutsu, but he had learned more from battles like this of what he could accomplish with his technique. If Kotaeru couldn't handle the pressure of using the jutsu under hostile conditions, then it would be wasted on the boy and perhaps Draven would be the only one of them leaving the cave that day.

Kotaeru would smile as the tag refused to explode. Seems like I've gotten the grasp of THAT aspect...now to try it on more than one explosion. As he was going to proceed the Imperial finally responded with a tip. Don't hesitate? Fine...I wasn't going to. Before he could go for another explosive tag he would realize something WAS fishy. Not only did it just feel like something quickly moved. But soon enough the air around him sounded like his favorite shuriken when it was hissing. What in this world? He would have ignored it, but with the jutsu still activated; it felt like a large 'explosive' just entered his remote-detonating 'radar'.
Kotaeru would dash aside rapidly attempting the Seppan Socchi technique; his hands still in the hand seal stance for the jutsu and his very mind alert. Oh, shit! As he turned his head he would see a large shuriken with a couple of tags on it pass by. It appears that I can detonate more than juts those tags...something else there is actually explosive. The boy would without hesitation as he had been told; foil the attempts of the explosive 'device' to detonate. That was gonna be one made blow...what the hell was he thinking?! "What the?! Did you want to kill me?!
As Kotaeru took a look at the Imperial he would see as a couple of kunai would be thrown at him. Damn it! I'm going to guess they are all explosives seeing as this is definitely part of my training. Kotaeru knew more than to assume the Imperial would try to kill him, after all, not only were they very good friends...but if Draven actually wanted to take his life; he would probably do it and get it done with efficiency. Kotaeru would use his blade and sweep the kunai off their path; the same moment however his other hand would remain in the hand-seal stance keeping the jutsu alive as he foiled the attempts of the kunai from blowing up.

Draven nodded in respect and admiration for the shinobi. He handled himself very well under the sudden threat launched agaisnt him. Draven could only think one last thing to test the boy on, after which, he would have nothing left to teach. Taking out two exploding tags this time, he wrapped them around a couple of rocks. The first one he lobbed high into the air between them. "Prevent me from detonating it." he ordered as he slammed together the seal for Fuse control and surged his chakra towards the explosive. It had less chakra than a normal dose of the technique would require, but not so little that Kotaeru wold find it an easy task to deny the big man's attack on the tag.
Once that was done, Draven took the second rock and lobbed it in the same manner as the last, this time however, his command was to 'Dampen the explosion." Perhaps the hardest part of the jutsu besides fighting for control with an enemy, limiting an explosion took a great deal of concentration and understanding to accomplish, hopefully Fuma would prove himself just as capable as before.

Kotaeru would look at the Imperial as he wrapped tags around rocks. I'm just hoping that isn't aimed for me. Kotaeru would listen as he told him to prevent him from detonating it; the final part of the training. Kotaeru had his whole mind wired into full concentration as he awaited the toss of the rock. Or is he going to detonate it while in his hands? No...he's not stupid. As the man tossed the rock into the air in a gentle but decisive lob Kotaeru contemplated what to do as he remotely located the explosive tag via the Fuse Control technique.
I guess I'll just do the opposite! Kotaeru didn't have much of an idea as to how he was going to ruin the ability of the tag to blow up, but he figured out that if it was at all anything besides complex, then it would require his chakra doing the exact opposite thing it would do to a tag whenever he wanted it to explode. Now! With his hand in the air still brandishing the required handseal for the technique he would cause his chakra to remotely 'defuse' the bomb...rendering it impossible to detonate. Did I succeed? This question would be completely answered the moment the tag landed on the ground...if it didn't explode- then he was successful.
Thud Kotaeru would release his breath and then without warning the next stone would be tossed into the air. Dampen? That sounds pretty much like contain the explosion but don't completely stop it. This would need more control than just simply stopping an explosion; after all this time he would need it to still explode- just with less force. He would remotely catch up with the tossed explosive tag with his chakra and would then wait for the moment the Imperial would detonate it. Bingo
Kotaeru would see as the tag illuminated vividly and set off. Stop Trying to contain the explosion the ninja would have his chakra slightly prevent the explosion such that it set off with a smaller force than it would have normally.

"Well done." Draven said, his deep voice echoing throughout the now still and quiet caverns. Looking around, he could see the shinobi had done some damage to the place, but perhaps not quite enough considering the kind of jutsu they were training, but that was for later. "You've conquered the jutsu." he continued to congratulate, but then, without even a glimmer of mirth, he warned "You will keep it to yourself." His harsh tone would leave no room to argue, there were just some things that gave too much of an advantage.
However, despite how threatening he seemed, Draven still proceeded to toss something at Kotaeru. It was a ring, Band of the Wary (http://www.theninja-forum.com/Vbulletin/showthread.php?p=1449778#post1449778) to be exact. It was there if the missing nin wanted it. "The ring will detect explosives, especially the ones that are not as obvious as tags." Now either Fuma could test it out, or, the he could have some fun with that big bag of bombs he had. A parting gift for the old training room, if you will, and a final bit of training for the ninja. Draven would wait outside for the chuunin as he awaited the demolition of the cave with a small grin twisting the edges of his lips.
With everything accomplished, Draven would say his goodbyes and finish up with any matters they had to discuss further, afterward, he would take his leave. He still had stuff to do, go figure.

Kotaeru would smile lightly as the Imperial acknowledged his capability. As Draven looked around, he too himself turned around to see what the place he was training in now looked like. Well that's damage...but knowing what this jutsu can do...I can probably bring down the house! As the big man told him of his accomplishment he would nod and then listen sternly to the next statement. I will keep it to myself... At first he wanted to say something like 'you have my word' but then he realized that was pretty much just petty talk'...being the men they were; actions spoke louder than words.
Kotaeru would catch the small object thrown at him and would wear it on his left hand's middle finger the moment he was told what it did. "Cool...I guess right now I could just say 'F*** the World'" The boy would outstretch his middle finger as he surveyed the cave's rubble. "I'll be out in a few...just need to wreck this place first." Kotaeru would then pick out 8 explosive notes and would make 4 shuriken papers out of them. Throwing the first three outwards one after the other, he would watch as the ring in his hand tugged to the path of the shuriken he released until it went out of range.
"Here goes..." Forming the one handed seal Kotaeru would then detonate all the shuriken modeled explosives at the same time. BOOOOMM!!! Now that's power. He would tag a kunai of his with an explosive note and would close his eyes as he tossed it gently away from him. That's the tug! As the ring tugged his hand in the direction the explosive had moved he would let his chakra flow straight down along that path to remotely detonate the tag. BOOM
I guess I should just scrap up the place... Taking his remaining stack of explosive notes he would form 10 paper shuriken and would smirk. As he began to back out of the cave he would begin to throw all of the shuriken explosives and would use the jutsu to prevent each of the shuriken from exploding the moment they touched the rocky walls of the cave. That's about it. As he walked out of the cave, he would then smile devilishly. Katsu He would jump back away from the mouth of the cave as he caused all the tags to explode at once. BOOOOOOOOOOMMMMM!!!!
As he ducked away from the entrance he would see something black but shiny fly out of the cave along with a few rocks. Did I just discover a rare gem? Obsidian? He would go over to the object and discover it was a lighter. Fumbling with lighter he would get it to work...Stupid lighter...at least it works. He would stack it in his pocket and would then look back at the entrance of the cave. Reminds me of when that freaky guy trapped both of us together in a cave. He would form the hand seal for Shunshin and would in the next moment begone.
