OOC: All senseis may come here to meet with thier students to give them a final teaching lesson.

Once they entered the area, they'd see a massive spring 20 feet away from the door, adorned with rocks and 30 different kinds of flowers, this constantly rushing water was coming from a waterfall about 50 feet west. The stream was about 40 feet wide from the time it hit the bottom of the waterfall till it made its way down to door of the exam area, it split in half two parts of land, the exam entrance area, and the chill zone on the other half.

Thier was only one way across that water, well actually two ways, there was suimen for those that needed to practice, and there was the walking bridge for those who just didn't feel like it.

On the other half of the stream, several huts were located in the area for people to sit and collect themselves if need be. Behind the huts about 20 feet were trees for young genin to practice another one of their basics upon it.

Bethany walked into the waiting area hoping to find her teammate known to her only as Pandora of Hyouga and she also needed to find another team member and maybe some sort of Jounin to give them any kind of help before the next stage of the exam started but for now she needed to study up on skills and fighting styles since eventually there was going to be a combat round though she never liked combat too much. She found a bench next to the spring and sat down getting herself comfortable in her kimono then took out a ninja book that explained the facts about the human body ready for the day she could become a medical ninja to better help her home and maybe one day be able to return home to Hyougagakure but she knew that was a dream, if she left Nagaregakure then she'd be a criminal. She opened her book and crossed her legs to read her book as she leaned on her right arm while listening to the water drip and drizzle but all the while her back kept burning and a few times she gripped it from the pain knowing some day she would shake this demon mark on her back but she also knew all she had left was her mother in Hyougagakure the only person who could help her but she needed to find a legal way back.

Keishi strode through the waiting area, the first there, probably by a long shot, since his 'essay' was rather short. He crossed the bridge and made his way to the sheltered areas, sitting crosslegged in the corner of one of them and proceeding with a mental exercise to ensure that he was at his peak. Tsubaki was placed in a sitting position next to him as he began cataloguing everything he had recently encountered to his memory banks.

Whether someone showed up or not, it didn't matter to him, he was ordered to participate, so he would wait for the next stage of the exam.

Tsubame had yet to learn Genjutsu Kai and he doubted that his comrades had learned it yet either, so after the first part of the exam was over he walked to the waiting area and awaited his Sensei and teammates. It would certainly suck if they got to the dangerous part of the exam, and they got hit by a genjutsu without being able to defend against it.

Xerato walked into the exam waiting area after taking the test, stretching his body lightly as he felt the sun touch his pale skin. He didn't really know how long it had been since he had since he went inside that building, and the air conditioning felt nice against his skin, but it was nice to get out and stretch and feel the sun on his skin. Though the relaxed moment faded as he looked around, seeing hardly anyone there almost, only a few really there before him. He knew he got to the exams later then most, but because of his papers length as well as the speed at which he wrote it, he guessed that he got out from the building before most of the others were able to.

He sighed and shook his head, his hand reaching up and grabbing his template, the thumb and forefinger running his crown lightly as he touch. "I was hoping I could find a Jounin who wouldn't mind teaching me the basics..." He spoke to himself in his native tongue of Hyogian. He knew that he didn't have a Sensie yet, the closest thing he had to such was the random Sati teacher that he met on his way home from picking up coal, and even then he was only able to learn Kinobori jutsu before anything else. He still needed to learn the Suimen and Genjutsu Kai to stand any chance at passing the Chuunin Exams. He quietly set off in this location for any teacher who would be willing to train a new student who had yet to have a true Sensei before.

Kensei walked in the area. He hadn't seen anyone he recognized so he just went to the back. To show his mastery, he walked across the lake using suimen which also meant he knew kinobori. He didn't need to show the other two since he had nothing to prove to all of these strangers. As he got across, he just went to one of the huts in the back but waited outside till his sensei along with his team arrived. He did wonder what awaited him at these exams. Would he need to kill any of the people involved? Wouldn't be a problem even though he has never slain a human before. All his experience was on slaying demons. Shouldn't be much different since some were human like in appearance and/or in behavior. Though he wouldn't know till it actually happened.

As soon as she opened the door, earthy and natural colors flooded her retinas. She stood there, gazing at the beautiful scenery laid before her. In front of her, not too far away was a spring filled with clear azure-like water, the light ripples on the surface reflecting the blue sky above in a mosaic-like pattern. To the west was the waterfall that filled the stream before it.

Quietly but cautiously, Pandora took a few steps and stepped on the rippling water surface. As she did this, she used Suimen to make her body stay afloat as she continued walking to the other side of the spring. Before she reached the land, however, she turned back and continued using Suimen as she walked back towards the door. Reaching the other side, she sat down on the dry land and released her flow of chakra to her feet as she gently moved her feet forward and back under the water, making ripples of their own. She would stay like this, letting the ambiance of her surroundings flow through her body as she rested her body from the first exam.

This is a very relaxing place to be.. Pandora started humming as she played around in the water, her eyes closed as she inhaled through her nose and exhaled through her mouth. Only once she sat still for about ten minutes or so did she open her eyes and look around. My teammate.. She is supposed to be here. Looking around with her eyes only, she scanned the area in front of her. Various shinobi of different villages were spread out doing their own private thing. One shinobi slightly stood out from the rest of them as she was wearing a kimono. Pandora smiled as she looked straight into her face. She might be the one. She has that.. familiar feeling..

Standing up, she activated Suimen as she once again walked on the clear water spring, heading to the open space right next to where she was sitting. Once in close proximity, Pandora spoke out. My name is Pandora.. Forgive my appearance, I have.. She searched her mind for the right word. ..a situation going on. Are you Bethany? She would sit down next to her and stare out into the spring, her focus not really in one direction or another.

Bethany kept reading her book as she was unaware of her new teammate walking around in the spring behind her maybe showing off who knows whats going on through her mind all that was obvious was that she was enjoying herself as the medical book took her full attention besides her sense of pain but reading about how pain is fealt it allowed her to ignore it as she read and relaxed but she would feel the repurcussions later that was sure. As the girl came up to her before she called out the mark on her back started glaring but in Pandora's point of view she would see an eye shape glowing and glaring at her but when she called out it got Bethany's attention and the glowing stopped as she turned around to see the beautiful girl coming to her and sitting down. Oh yes that's me I suppose you must be Pandora its real nice to meet you and no worries you seem fine to me and very compitent so live and let live is common among my village, she said smiling back at her putting her book away but also turning her back away as to hide her curse from being seen not knowing it already made itself known but she would attempt to avoid talking about it but as she learned after talking with Cassiel was that it wasn't easy to do so. She looked down then looked back up and asked, Well why not tell me alittle about yourself if we are going to be a team we should get to know each others personalities and capabilities? She would think to herself trying to understand where she stands and what she could talk about with this nice girl with out scaring her away as she frightened her last team away with her burden but maybe she would have better luck this time around only time could tell.

Not noticing the smudge on the back of Bethany's back when she approached, she did not mention anything about it. She would sit still and quiet, half daydreaming as she continued staring out into the spring water. Well why not tell me alittle about yourself if we are going to be a team we should get to know each others personalities and capabilities?

After a minute, Pandora would reply. She obviously understood Hyougaan, so she would continue speaking in that way. Her red eyes sparkled like rubies as she spoke. My personality.. To explain herself in full would take days and days. No, just the personality and her capabilities were needed. Maybe just a tad bit of explanations.. I.. I guess I am easy-going; I get along with other people well, but recent experiences slightly dampened that part of me. I like cold stuff, you know, anything that is cold. Like icecream, snow, Hyouga.. She spoke all this in a low voice as she rambled on so that others around her may not hear if they were trying to eavesdrop, but she spoke out clearly and with some feeling. ..I have a slight dislike for cats though.. I am kind of allergic to them.

As a shinobi, I am pretty fast and I have a lot of chakra in my body. I mainly use wire manipulation and I also use a bow. I am pretty much not good in regular weather.. I have a 'sickness' if I can call it that, that I will get weaker in hot climates like Nagare and Rikuhi. She smiled at this point and looked back at Bethany's face. Do you have a nickname I may call you instead?

Bethany didn't know what to say this girl was very polite and spoke honestly she didn't know how but she could feel this girl was being honest and in a team that is very important though her curse is her little secret if it affected the team she would have to explain herself at some point but she just didn't know how to start to explain so she decided unless her team asked about it she would just keep it to herself. After she told about herself Bethany decided it was her turn so she took a deep breath and said, Well you can call me whatever you feel like as long as its nice and polite I'm a very kind person who will care for anything and everything that I can for I'm just like my mother who is from Hyougagakure but I was forced to move to Nagaregakure because of the over population so I've developed many speaking talents though I had my hard times because of some suspicious actions that I'm trying to understand, she hung her head for a few seconds and clutched her back then went back to talking. And my ninja goals is to be a medic so that way I can help not just mentally but physically as well and one day I want to bring all of the Five Great Nations together maybe by aiming to become the Kazekage or some other kind of high power though that is not really possible but I love the cold and I can be very tactical a strategic when I have to be as I love to train to better myself, give me a toothpick and I can make a house retorically speaking, she finished saying with a laugh knowing some of her dreams would never come true though that wouldn't stop her but some things always stood in her way which depressed her deep inside. And as a personal goal I want to end pain, suffering, sadness, loneliness, and all those hurtful emotions in everyone who has had a horrible life because of one thing or another but I need to get stronger and smarter though that in itself is already hard heheh, she said closing her eyes with a smile and tilting her head abit.

Xerato rubbed his head as he looked around the area, seeing if there might have been anyone there who would be from Hyouga. Anywhere would be good with him right now really, all he needed was a team. The only other time he teamed with someone had been back with his mission, and she hadn't been seen for quite a while. He had been starting to get a mighty bad feeling for her disappearance, not knowing where she might have gone. He knew she wasn't the type of person to just up an vanish, and this was the Chuunin exams, she was suppose to be here, but she wasn't. Everything pointed to the worst for him, he couldn't shake the feeling at all. He knew that there was no information on her yet, but he knew, deep down, something had happened.

If something HAD happened to her, she would have been the second she had let down, the second who had disappeared in his life because he couldn't be there for her, because he couldn't save her. He couldn't stop thinking about it, the last time that someone went missing, the last time he had a promise with someone who he had known, she had died because she had been waiting for him. He bite down on his teeth hard at the thought, trying to fight back his mixed emotions at rage at everything that was taken away from him, and the sorrow that ate away at him, an the guilt that began to tear him apart.

He couldn't stop thinking about the losses he had had over his history. He couldn't stop blaming himself for everything that had happened, even if he had no power to of stopped it, he couldn't stop blaming himself for everything that happened. Angry with himself, he kicked the dirt violently, trying to find some way of getting these images from his mind, trying to find a way to forget the losses, something to stop him from blaming himself, even if it were just for a few moments.

He sighed as he began to walk across the bridge, slowly dragging himself across the structure with his eyes focused towards the ground. So many things were flooding his mind at the moment, each memory, each thought of what he needed to do, leaded to another painful memory he wished he could shake his head and forget, forget everything he lost and forget everything that had happened. Though, his thoughts were soon interrupted, the sound of an hyougian voice catching his ear as he looked up from the edge of the bridge that faced towards the tents. He decided to move closer, to see if it were someone he might be interested in joining forces with.

As he got closer, he could hear their conversation more clearly, walking close enough to listen in on their little chat while remaining at a safe distance to avoid their attention for now. He couldn't make out everything they said, but he could make out something about their fighting style, and something about not liking the heat or cats, and assumed that they were talking about each others weaknesses. He didn't catch every little detail, but he thought now was a good of time as any to jump into the conversation, to see if they might allow him into their circle. "I know it isn't my place to butt in, but..." He said, turning to face the two who were talking, his crimson eyes gazing over them, studying their bodies to see what structures they were. He wanted to know what their bodies were like to see if he could guess their physical capabilities, though he had not had the training for such yet.

"I hope I am not a bother to you ladies, but I believe it is not a smart idea to be talking about your own strengths and weaknesses so openly in public." He said in a soft voice, his crimson eyes looking into their own as he spoke. He smiled to the both of them and bowed his body a bit towards them, his hand crossing his chest before returning to his form back to his casual appearance. "I doubt you two would use each others weaknesses to their advantage, as I assume you are on the same team? But that still leaves the face on how openly you are talking about this, just because she is your ally does not mean others will be so kind, they could have just of easily overheard you talk as I have?" He offered, his question more pointing a fact out then anything else. He paused there for now, to see their reaction to his speech, to see if he was invited into this conversation or not before going farther on. They both seemed like a good match for allied in this competition, but he wanted to see how they would react before doing anything else. "I hope I am not a bother, are you two waiting for someone?"

Bethany replied in turn about her goals and her dreams. Somehow I think I wasn't supposed to explain that.. As she was thinking this, there was some movement and sounds coming from behind and instinctively, she released a single strand of her invisible wire and using Souharigane no Jutsu, manipulated it to encircle the intruder's neck. The intruder would not know of the wire unless his sight was above average or if he had some chakra sensor. She would keep the fact about the wire to herself for now.

Turning her head to get a look at the person, she eyed him with no obvious interest until she noticed a few clues that would hint that he was from Hyouga; his pale skin, the pure white hair resting above his crimson-colored eyes, his spoken language with the accent of a Hyougaan, amongst other things. He had a good build, someone who might be a taijutsu ninja. All these thoughs processed through her mind as she finally stared into his eyes. Still, the way he introduced himself had a negative reaction in her mind.

For you to hear what I was saying is very impressive.. Her invisible wire would still be hovering around his neck ready to strangulate if necessary. But I did not give anything important away.. What do you want?

At the moment of movement and sounds Bethany used her agility and reflexes to get back between the two keeping a fight from breaking out and she just looked to them both smiling saying, Oh come now there is no reason to start anything you two seem to lack some manners on eavsdropping and being offensive so lets just calm down and talk this over there is no need to be agressive besides we are all Hyougaan in some way or another so lets get along, then as the agression dropped pain started flurring through her back as the mark glowed its bright blue color. It forced her to drop to her knees almost letting out a shrek from pain but quickly changed it to make it look like she was sitting down keeping her back pointing away from both of them as she sat down using her agility to make it seem fancy rather than suffering then looked to the boy, She heard someone closing in behind them and slightly turned her head to the boy saying, You do know its not nice to evesdrop on people's conversation and besides we aren't going into our deep hidden abilities besides we are farther from everyone else in here and our voices are low so theres no worries only a chuunin with amazing hearing could hear our conversation and might I ask who you are, she then turned to see the boy examining them making her slightly blush. She didn't know what to say to this boy besides explaining herself but life was just life, Besides just because people know alittle of what we can do doesn't mean a thing unless they can back it up with their own abilities and above all else what does it matter we are all hear for the same reason though true some are here for victory but I'm here for my village plain and simple as that. If the boy finally decided to sit down her hands would retract back into her sleeves as she had grabbed her weapon scrolls just in case something happened but would put them away now that everything seemed to have calmed down and so she turned to the boy to see if there was something he wanted but first she answered his question, Well we are trying to find another teammater and maybe a sensei to support us though we already seem to have our basics so really we are just waiting for another genin to join us and then we can get to know each other though hearing some of what we said is very impressive little boy.

His crimson eyes narrowed slightly as he looked at the both of them, his kind smile turning slightly as he looked both of them into the eyes. One of them seemed to be doing nothing, but he had a feeling that she already had her weapon pointed at him, and the other, she was reaching for something in her sleeves, that or he was over reacting and she was just getting herself more comfortable. He needed to side on the air of caution though, no one survived fairly long without being at least a little over cautious. His hands pulled back his coat and his hand rested on the butt end of his sword, readying it just in case something where to happen he didn't expect on, ready to pull his blades at any moment.

He smiled again to them, nodding his head to the both of them as he listen to their words. "I know it isn't 'nice' to eavesdrop on someone... but it is an effective form of gathering information non the less." He explained to her, even if they were just talking and even if it was impolite, it does not mean that no one would resort to such things to get an upper hand. He sighed lightly and keeled down to the ground, sitting on the dirt in front of the both of them. Then he turned his attention to the other one. By the sounds of it, the first was Hyougian just as himself, as the other was not by how she used her words. "As for what I want... I am currently looking for a team, and perhaps a sensei who wouldn't mind teaching me water walking." He admitted.

He chuckled softly at the fact at him calling them out for pointing out weaknesses, yet he himself had pointed out that he couldn't use one of the basic jutsu. Though, it was how they had said, it is not something someone can use against him unless they know how to fight him exactly in a way he couldn't fight them. "Anyway, my name is 'Ikeda, Xerato', I hail from the Ikeda and the Kudo clan. May I be so bold as to ask the both of you your own name?" He spoke with a kind voice now, trying to find himself with a better disposition from the two of them. He didn't want to set either one of them off, so he had hopped that he hadn't already turned them away already.

Honestly, Pandora did not want to fight at that moment of time, but her instincts told her to be wary. When the other genin put his hand on the pommel of his sword, Pandora could not help but smile slightly as she already got the first strike. As the young man began to sit down, her wire followed just beneath his line of sight. Her "teen/young lady" Henge still being on, she continued to show no signs of wavering. Only once did he tell them about looking for a team did she pique her interest in him.

Her left index finger that was controlling her wire was moving nonchalantly in a small lazy circle as she looked at the bench beneath her. As Bethany explained away that we needed another teammate, Pandora slowly but obviously released her "trap" on Xerato as her finger guided her wire back into her holster. The Kudo Clan! The same as Hakatsu.

My name is Pandora, but you can call me Pan. Nice to meet you. She looked at Bethany as if to say that she was the leader before looking back into the spring and started daydreaming once more. Oh how the water is beautiful..

Well then I guess I should introduce myself...I'm Bethany its nice to be here meeting new people its one of the best things in the world so many things happen and well you can never know what will happen you just have to meet it head on and expect anything you could think of though if you're like me you try to see the best in everyone and trust them right away, she said with a sweet smile on her face feeling much better about how things were going. With her scrolls put away her hands came back out of her sleeves and connected together as she didn't want to have any form of aggression as she sat there listening to the two of them talk since they had the hardest time trusting each other maybe it was something about their clans or their affiliations but one can't know what goes on through people's mind but a fight wasn't going to be allowed to bump out as she kept the mood soft and sweet. Well maybe you could join our team and with teamwork we could find someone to help train you the genin basics but I say if we are going to be a team we need to stick together and always have each other's back so what do you two say are we a team or what, Bethany said with great enthusiasm hoping for some kind of answer that would be beneficial to everyone as to what she liked.

Xerato would smile to the both of them, his attention focused on the current one that talked as they both introduced themselves. The one called pandora, he noticed something after she quite noticeably moved her fingers, she seemed to have already had him in preparation for an attack without him noticing it up until now. He didn't know how it would have turned out if she ended up using that attack on him, but he kept thinking he had his sword, so if it was some type of wire or something, he should have been able to cut through it unless it was made of something like the Ikeda Mithril. The other, who called herself Bethany, He didn't bother thinking about it, as the aggregation between the three of them seemed to fade over some time.

He would nod to the both of them. Pandora and Bethany, the later seeming to be the one in charge of their team. He looked at her and nodded to her question. She very much did take charge for the group. It seemed though Pandora was older, but something was off there. He would shake off the idea for now, turning his attention back to the question that had been directed towards him. "If I am allowed to join, I would love to be able to?" He answered her with a faint smile. It seemed he had finally found some people who he could join their team. Both seemed to be Hyougian too, so it would definitely be good.

We do need another person in our team. Using her imagination, Pandora pictured the spring icing over and becoming solid. Standing up and walking to the frozen spring, she would stare into the sky as Bethany walked right beside her and did the same. As they both looked back down, Xerato would be approaching them and finally standing beside them all, posing on top of the spring like it is a picture moment. Her memory swirled as the imagination vanished from her mind and she came back to reality. It could work.

The young Hyoujun turned around and faced back towards the group, looking at Xerato. You may join.. But how do you think you can help us if you join our team? Basically, what are your assets. You may have heard mine, now I want to hear yours. Standing up, she stood beside the bench and waited. Releasing a small amount of chakra, she changed the colors of her contacts into black. I wonder what has happened to the Hyoujun Palace and the Kagemaru Estate.. I hope everyone is okay.

Bethany watched the two speak to each other making sure no one got out of hand and started to fight as in this environment there was peace and balance it gave the exams calmness and harmony which is very relaxing as she was sitting trying to ignore the pain but she could tell the glow was bright so she stood up and walked to the other side of the bench turning her back from anyone's sight then looked happy as to keep anyone from seeing any different as she smiled. She watched and listened then concurred, Well yes share something about yourself but nothing like weak points just what you are capable of are you strong, fast, smart, those sort of things just keep it down and keep it obvious things that are nothing revealing that anyone else can't already tell about your that is how we discuss things quietly and simple. She stepped back abit farther on the water and decided to sit down there as she leaned down to stretch out her legs and support herself on her left arm as it laid flat on the water and her right hand in her lap this way she was comfortable and hidden she even played with her braid for abit stroking it and combing the base of it as a sign she didn't know what else to say.

Xerato shrugged lightly as they had both asked him to share with them his strengths, to evaluate if he might have been good for the team or not. He never really thought about what his strong points might have been. All he had going for him was the things that other had said about him during small encounters and personal experiences. He let out a soft sigh as he began to compile his thoughts on what it was he had 'strengths' in, to see how he could properly explain his assets to their team if he were to be allowed to join. He began to talk, very calmly and silently, the two of them would have needed to struggle to hear his words if they wanted to catch what it was he said. "Well... I guess you could say I am fairly fast and strong, and I know my way around a sword... but I have no way of fighting at a distance, and I rarely use any jutsu, so my chakra isn't very well developed."

He looked at the two of them so far, to see how they would have acted to his words. One of which was acting kind of weird to him though, as if she were hiding something from view to everyone that she didn't want anyone to see. He wouldn't bother her about it, if she wanted to talk about it later, then he would listen, but he wasn't about to force someone into revealing something about themselves that they didn't want to reveal. "As for anything else, there are two things you should know about me. One, never let me do the talking, I always spark the negative reaction from strangers for some reason. And two, I have absolutely no wildness survival skills, so don't look at me when it comes to that stuff."

He laughed a bit, explaining to him the two worst troubles he had with. If he were to be on their team, they wouldn't just need his strengths to see if they were compatible, but also his weaknesses to see if they would even be able to fit or if he would drag them down to much. He didn't want to be in a situation where they believed he could do something and end up causing them to loss their way because of his failure. He wondered how they would react about this information, wondering if they would still allow him to become a part of their team. "Other then that, there isn't much else that needs explaining. So, am I in?" He asked curiously, wondering what the answer would be after explaining to them his strengths and weaknesses, only telling half the truth in case they would deny him.

Pandora would only listen as Xerato spoke out about his strengths and capabilities. So.. A Taijutsu Specialist. We could always use another close-combatant. I for one can do some melee stuff.. Pan would barely make a hint of a smile that no one would ever see it.

Ever so slightly, she would give a small nod to Bethany when they were facing each other as an approval on her part as she turned and walked to the spring where Bethany sat. She started sitting next to her on the dry land, her feet inside the water as she started kicking her legs.

A few minutes later, she would stop kicking her legs and use Suimen and make her legs rest on the water as if it was dirt and soil.

Minori arrived in a big huff. She was carrying both her egg and her sword in her backpack, which was also stuffed with her normal supplies. Minori hadn't brought any extra; she hadn't felt the need. If she lost, then oh well, she lost. It wouldn't hurt her feelings much.

However, she did at least realize that her lack of basic ninjutsu would put her at a disadvantage. She hadn't learned even the simplest of them-too busy with things. Oh well. She was here now, ready to begin, and that was all that mattered. Soon, she'd be able to prove that she wasn't just some weak little girl anymore. Minori was a boss.

Things went over very well with the group and Bethany didn't know what to do next things were going over very well so she just sat there on the water as Pandora sat infront of her on the side of the little pond but she didn't know what she could do next everything was practically done so all that was left was to help Xerato train his last basics and then begin the exams. She laid back on the water and rested but didn't fall asleep or she would fall into the water rather then being on it and looking up at the ceiling wondering what they would be doing in the second stage of the exams she didn't want to hurt any of the others as they are all here for the same reasons for themselves or for their village and that was no reason to kill or even hurt any of them. She then thought about who would be the leader in their group she was too soft to be the leader to her but Pandora was the oldest and seemed pretty strong then again there was Xerato he did seem strong though he was lacking his basics but that didn't define a leader so to her either of them would make a better leader than her, but then she thought why did they need a leader.

Xerato sighed as he looked to the both of them. Neither one of them seemed to be interested in talking about what was going to happen, they just stood their waiting for another to talk. He wondered what was going on really, neither of them seemed to be taking charge of what was going to happen, one turning to the other before deciding. "So... what's the verdict?" He asked, curious on what the two were thinking about. He had no way of finding out what had been going on between the two, and he wanted to know what it was that was going on with everything.

Kensei was bored of waiting and doing nothing. It seems there was no sign of his sensei nor any of the other two. He did wonder if one of his team members that was working on the basics ever finished with them after he left. He did have a useful jutsu for communication but it was utterly useless without someone else having it as well. Kensei got up and went to the area where there was trees. He was in a spot where everyone could see him but wasn't around anyone so they didn't get in the way. He used battou and slashed at the tree horizontally and then sheathed his blade. What he was working on was precision and accuracy of his slashes and would repeatedly keep slashing the same place over and over again, making the slash carve in the tree deeper each hit. He would show off his abilities but he would rather conserve his chakra for what awaited him so he would keep his blade out this time instead of sheathing it after each hit to also practice on his swordplay. He used both hands while doing these slashes and would pivot his feet to add in his weight to the momentum of the attack to make it more effective.

So... what's the verdict? Pandora would just nod at Xerato. You're in. Want to try practicing Suimen for now? Do you need an explanation or do you already know how to work it. It is like the opposite of Kinobori in the sense that Kinobori uses chakra to glue yourself onto the surface while Suimen uses chakra to repel yourself. Hope you understand Xerato.

The Hyoujun stared at him with her jet black eyes and her pale skin severely contrasted this. Though this Chuunin Exam might be fought on water, you might not need Suimen at all. It is best to learn Nawanuke and Kinobori. We both can help dispel any genjutsu placed upon your body.

Pandora would stand up, apparently bored and with nothing else to say to the either of them, started going inside the spring, holding her breath for as long as possible. Her body, being suited for very low air pressures, easily surpassed the minute mark. As she sat down under water, she contemplated on their new team formation. Basing on Bethan.. Let's call her Beth. Beth definitely is a chakra user. Seeing that.. Xera.. is a Tai Spec. Nicknames are nice.. Back on track, we have to discuss with each other plans and strategies.. She would pop her white mop of hair above the water surface, take a deep breath, and go back under.

Bethany smiled again because life was just funny and Pandora was right Xerato was in but she also watched to see what the others were doing in the waiting area though she didn't like to show off like some others she had already shown off without even noticing it for she wasn't walking on water or even standing on water she was laying on the water which just showed off her mastery of chakra control and the amount of chakra that she had. She would need to have even more chakra control if she was to become a medical intern so she kept practicing everything that required precise chakra control until she got better at it and if some times in the process she showed off alittle she wouldn't mind it to her it was just her training and it was fun to. She then decided to stand up and walk to the nearest tree to get a high vantage point to see who all were getting prepared but she only saw her team and another boy who seemed to be practicing with a blade and from what she saw it looked like power practice but after watching him using his attacks after a certain amount of time it turned out to be accuracy training. She knew she lacked in throwing accuracy so any weapons she could use she had to find a way to do it without throwing them good thing she had one jutsu for such then when she got to the first tall branch she started walking on the bottom of it then stopped to flip over it and sit down on top of the branch and watch her team talk while being in a much better position for watching the doors and her team.

Yeah with me here you don't have to worry much about genjutsu I can take care of that though we should come up with a few secret messages in case we can't talk during the next part of the exam you know things as warnings or giving directions which also we need to pick someone who's the most reliable to keep track of such things in case the others forget, and of course come up with a secret passphrase but not here only when we are alone should we pick a password or phrase, she said looked down to them as she spoke quietly knowing that they had to prepare for every outcome of what would happen next during these exams nothing could be counted out if it was possible to happen they needed to prepare for it.

OOC: Anyone want some training of any sort i can help i have nothing else to do till the anbu exam so here i am. Ps, i'm a jounin. I'm here mostly for Fang (Aka sent me :D) but if anyone else needs help i'm up for the job haha.

IC: Inazuma walked into the waiting area, Mack and Hikari were in their prison spheres it helped him cause they didn't have to get tired from the running to places he always did. He had been told some genin would need lats minute training and he volunteered for the job, simply because he had nothing else to do he was waiting for the anbu examinations to start so he could finally get started.

He would sit down on a bench and lean on the wall, he observed the students, obviously if any of them needed any help they would notice the jounin flak jacket he was wearing. If he got bored he would open a book which was in his pocket nothing crazy it was called Naruto, the story of a young ninja, he seemed sort of lame though. However his sensei a man called Kakashi had to be the most awesome person Inazuma had ever heard about. He would keep reading till someone interrupted him.

(OOC: Thanks Kakashi, I'll take you up on that since you're willing to teach :D)

Xerato smiled to the both of them as he had become accepted into their team, despite not having learned all the basics as of yet. Only two of them really needed a sensei to learn, the third being one he could train by himself, and by the sounds of the explanation he had taken from when he red it in the book, it seemed to be fairly easy to learn though. He looked up to both the ones who called themselves Pandora and Bethany, a bright look on his face as he looked at each of them in turn. "Thank you, I promise I will do my best to fight with you two." He spoke with a smile on his lips, his words were faint still as he spoke them, but the two of them would no longer need to struggle to hear his words anymore.

He then decided to look around as the two of them do some other things, Beth seeming to be training her accuracy while the Pandora moving to the lake and looking to it. It was then Xerato saw the new people, the room definitely filling up to a full point, and there had seemed to be a Jounin now that appeared within the room. "Pandora, Bethany, I think I found an instructor who might be willing to teach me the jutsu, would you mind if I step away for a little while?" He asked, looking at the person who bore the Jounin jacket.

So far, there were two jutsu he wanted to learn, genjutsu kai could wait for later. For now, he would ask and see if the Jounin would teach him the Suimen Justu, and then see if he could find some way to train the other that he had heard of. He had an idea for a weapon for a while now, but first he needed to train the jutsu so he could use that weapon he had plans for. He didn't want to make a weapon and have no way of using it effectively. "I hope you two don't mind, I just want to be fully prepared for the Chuunin exams, I hope you don't mind..."

As soon as she got back up for another gulp of air, Xerato spoke out, stopping her from taking another breath and going back under for more planning and strategies. Sure, go ahead, you don't need our permission.. You can just let us know, we are 'team members' now, aren't we? She smiled as she got back out of the spring. Looking around, she saw Bethany in the branches of a tree nearby. Nodding at Xerato, she would point up in the tree and speak out. Once you are done, come to where we are and we will discuss what we can do and how we can help each other. Basically, strategies.. okay?

Having the perfect teammates working together perfectly would take days, if not months of training, and definitely trust. Without trust and knowledge of each other's strengths, the team would fall apart and end up in disaster. Activating Kinobori to her hands and feet, she would climb up the tree silently and sit down on a branch nearby. She would remain completely quiet until Bethany spoke back as she looked down at the young man swinging accurately at a tree.

Xerato would nod to her with a smile on his lips, his crimson eyes looking to her own as he listened to her words. He waited until she had finished and smiled, his words replayed back in a calm and soft voice as he spoke. "Yes, but I don't want you two to feel as if I just walked away and abandoned you to right as I came. Thank you for understanding though." He bowed to Pandora and then to Bethany, saying his goodbye to them for the time being and then turning to face the Jounin who had entered the area. With any luck, he could pick up Suimen training quickly, and then go to Hyouga to get the materials he would need for training the other justu and finishing the designs for his idea.

Slowly, he walked away from the two new allies he had made and to the Jounin who sat on the bench, looking at him with his crimson eyes and standing before him. He saw that he had been reading a book since he took his seat there, and he didn't really want to bother him, but he didn't know any other way to get his attention. "E-excuse me, s-sir?" He asked, stumbling a little on his words as he tried to find the right ones to ask him. He would wait until he acknowledged him being there, being either moving his gaze towards him or putting his book down, or asking what he wanted before continuing with his questions for the Jounin.

"I don't mean to be a bother, but I was hoping you could teach me Suimen, that is really the only one I need at the moment before I begin the Chuunin exams... Please become my teacher and teach me so i a prepared for the exams!?" He asked, the words blurted from his mouth as he bowing down almost completely, his crimson gaze directed to the ground as he stood there waiting for an answer. He prayed silently that he would accept his question. He needed a teacher, he didn't want to become totally useless within his team when they began, and he definitely didn't want to slow them down because they accepted him to join. He stood there, bowed towards the Jounin in wait for his answer, hoping that he would allow the Hyougian student to lean from him.

"Well that's what i'm here for," Inazuma said with a smile on his face. He looked at the kid putting his book down he scanned him from head to toe. He wasn't that much younger than Inazuma. He was almost as tall as him. "What is it you want to learn?" Inazuma asked before the boy could notice he was criticizing him. After the boy told him what he needed Inazuma sighed, and said "Follow me." He would lead him over to the stream, which was quite large to be a stream.

Inazuma walked onto it effortlessly, he would turn back to the boy and say "So what is your name, and what do you think your good at?" That was Inazuma's favorite question for his students so many things in one sentence. Once The boy had told him he would answer, "My name is Inazuma, I'm a tracker, and ninjutsu specialist. Should we get started?"

If the boy said yes which he most likely would Inazuma would start his lesson, "So i'm assuming you already know what Kinobori is right? Suimen is like Kinobori except instead of using chakra to stick your using chakra to float. Give it a try and we'll start from there." Inazuma wouldn't say anything else until the boy tried it if he tried to ask him anything he would be ignored until he tried to use Suimen.

Xerato looked up to the Jounin with a smile on his face as he agreed to teaching him, his crimson eyes showing the happiness from finding someone who would teach him the basic Jutsu that he would need for before the training begun. He "Yes Sensei!" He spoke in reply as he nodded to the Jounin when he was told to follow him. He quickly kept his pace behind the man, following him to the edge of the stream and waited for the next thing the sensei would have him to.

"My name is Ikeda Xerato, hailed from the Ikeda and Kudo clan. I am a great blacksmith, as well as Armed Close Combat." He replied when the one who called himself Inazuma had asked for his name as well as his strengths. He didn't want to get as in depths as he did with the other two he met in here. It wasn't really like this would be a long term setion, though he was still indebted to him for agreeing to teach him the basics, a student who he had just met and even from a different village. Xerato knew they had been speaking common, but he could tell from the accent that he was from Sato and that he had been speaking with a Hyougian accent.

Xerato looked and watched as the man had walked onto the water, his eyes looking into his as he waited for what he would need to do. The way he described it definitely made it sound much more simple then he would have guessed. 'So... basically in stead of using it to stick to the tree, you use it to stick to the surface of water?' He thought to himself after listening to the basic instruction of the jutsu. He looked down to the water and closed his eyes, trying to picture the chakra flowing to his feet and sticking against the surface of the water.

Slowly, Xerato moved his foot over the water, and placed it down on the surface. For a split second, Xerato thought he got it the first try, but everything spiraled downward as he began putting his full weight onto the food. He fell, quite hard, into the water, the cold rush of liquid flooding around him as he fell face first into the stream. He soon came to the surface, struggling to collect himself, wading in the water as he looked up to the man who stood before him. He laughed a bit and rubbed the back of his head, laughing at his own failure.

"Harder then it sounded I guess." He said, his voice light with laughter as he moved back to the sure and climbed out of the water. He pulled his shirt off and began to ring it out, only enough to take out all of the water weight from the cloth. He knew he was going to get wet again, there was no way around it, but he didn't want the water weighting him down. "So, anything you might suggest before I try again Sensei?"

Inazuma would chuckle as the boy fell under the water. As soon as the boy was back up his face was straight, not showing he had been previously laughing. "Well for starters you need to focus on your whole foot evenly not just one part of it. Although you need to change the amount of chakra depending on what the water is doing this water is flat so you only need a little bit of chakra. Once you can stand on water we'll move onto the walking part. Cause the first step is way easier than your second." Inazuma would say this and wait for the boy to try it.

If he failed he would say "Keep trying till you get it right, I am not going to give you any more tips, till you can at least stand on the water." He waited for the boy to be able to stand on the water, it didn't matter how long it took, he wasn't going to help him any more, until he got the first part right. Inazuma managed to learn Suimen practically by himself since his sensei just told him he the very basics and sent him to a lake, with an island in the middle.

Inazuma had a fun activity planned for Xerato, but he needed him to be able to stand on the water first. If the boy gave up Inazuma wouldn't ever give him another chance it was up to Xerato whether he succeeded or not.

(OOC: I just found out, this is post 3/6 xD I already had 1 training post already ^-^; stupid me, lol)

Xerato nodded to the stern face the Jounin bore to his reaction. He didn't seem to have much of a since of humor when he had failed at his first try with the jutsu. Not having had chakra controlling classes, and having quite a pathetic chakra pool, he didn't think he was going to get this as quickly as he hoped. He smiled though, as he listened to the Jounin's further explanation. It gave him a much more complete overlook on the jutsu then 'glue yourself to the water like you did the tree.'

"Understood Sensei, thank you for your patients with a student like me." He smiled weakly, his hand rubbing the back of his head as he looked to him with a somewhat 'I'm sorry' look on his face. After they finished He nodded to him and looked to the water once more, picturing the small ripples that every one made as a step he had to take to keep afloat.

Then he looked down to himself, his cloths soaking wet and definitively not the right cloths to be used in this type of training. He quickly shed his shirt and left his top bare, and stretching himself out. He kept his pants on though, not feeling he wanted to bother changing into a swimming suit.

He quickly went though the hand seals for the jutsu and again stepped out onto the water, focusing the chakra onto his foot. This time, he covered the whole bottom of the foot with the chakra and stepping out. But again, he fell into the water, the cold stream washing over him as he fell face first just as he had before.

He definitely didn't have such a knack for the jutsu as he hoped, and the fact he had almost no chakra abilities at all also hurt his chances. He smiled and nodded to his Sensei for the time being as he gave his words of confidence. He moved back onto the shore and climbed out of the water, shaking and brushing the droplets from his skin before he would try again.

(OOC: I'm going to Post the 4th now, if that's okay. If not, I'll meld the 2. And I'm probably not going to use my first training post as a training post. So, so far this is Training Post 3/6 or 2/6 if I need to meld the two posts.)

Twice more he ended up failing, but each time he got better. It wasn't really an effect someone would be able to see while watching, it was more of an effect that could be felt by Xerato. Each time he tried, the water felt more solid, more like he could actually stand on the surface without face planting on it as he had done with the other. "One more try..." He reassured him self, looking to the water and preforming the hand seals he needed, slowly extending his foot onto the water and pushing his weight onto it.

This time though, he didn't face plant, his second foot quickly jumped onto the surface. The best way Xerato could describe this feeling was something like trying to stand on slick ice without falling, but at the same time, the ice would be moving up and down, and side to side. It was hard for him to actually stand, and the water was about up to his toes, but he actually was standing on the water.

"Sensei, Sensei, I'm actually standing!" He explained, his voice in somewhat of a happy shock as he struggled to balance on the water, his crimson eyes looking up to the eyes of his temporary Sensei. He stood there with a smile on his face, wondering what the next step the Jounin would make him do. He was far from actually mastering it though, much more needed to be done before he could be considered to have 'preformed' this jutsu correctly.

So far, he only stood on the water, and with much difficulty at that. Now, he needed to walk on the water and actually , he new that if he put any more of his weight on either foot, he would fall just like he had done earlier, but for now he had done what the Jounin had told him to do. He had stood on the water, and now it was time to try and refine the technique so he could do it without having to think about it as much as he was, and to be able to do it much more proficiently. "S-so, what's next Sensei?"

Inazuma sat down on the water as he observed his student. As soon as he had managed to stand Inazuma stood while using Stop to shoot some Fuuton at the water this would help him stand, but also caused ripples which Xerato would soon find would throw him off balance. If he fell Inazuma would wait for him to stand again, if he didn't fall Inazuma would continue right away. "Good job, now I want you to do something walk to the middle of the stram once you can do that I will give you a task."

As soon as the boy managed to get to the middle of the stream Inazuma would pull out a prison sphere this one contained Mack his large wolf the wolf popped out and used Suimen to stand on the water. Inazuma pulled a second prison sphere out and unsealed Hikari, She landed on her father's back since she also didn't know Suimen. As soon as Xerato made it to the middle of the Stream Mack would say "Now, little human, I will give you my daughter, if she get's wet, she will bite you, so don't fall."

Hikari didn't know what was going on when Xerato picked her up she realized she started scratching at him trying to get back to her father's back she really didn't want to get wet. How would Xerato comfort her in the middle of the stream? Inazuma would wait for him to calm her down before saying "Now bring her back to me." He would watch the genin waiting for him to make his move.

(OOC: Going for 2 posts, you made it easy for me to make two posts. xD)

Xerato did manage to stand on the water, but only that much. So far, he was able to stand on still water only, he had not even had a chance to try to begin walking before the Jounin did a jutsu to make the water ripple. Xerato couldn't think of what to do, so many thoughts of how to avoid this flooded his head, some of them saying to jump back onto the land, some saying to stand his ground and try to focus though it. Either way, he just froze then the time came, and it cost him.

He plummeted into the water again, the cold liquid flooding around him again. By this time though, he might have been use to it if it hadn't been so sudden to him yet again. He opened his eyes in the water and growled to himself, he should have reacted sooner and stopped himself from falling into the water, he wasn't about to let it happen again. He needed to finish training this jutsu soon to, he didn't want to waste to much from from the Jounin, and he had to get back to his village as soon as he could too so he could find someone to help him train the other jutsu, as well as forge his new sword.

He quickly surfaced from the water and swam to the edge of the lake, jumping out of the water and shaking himself dry. "Lets to that again..." He told him, his crimson eyes filled with the determination. He was going to get this next try done, and he wasn't about to just up and quit. He quickly went though the seals and walked out to the water again, reading it's movements with his feeling, letting his chakra meld around the waves. This time, when the Jounin caused the ripples again, he would adjust his chakra, letting his fold around the waves and stand still, focusing on maintaining his footing on the surface.

The praise from the Jounin was nice to hear, a soft smile on his lips as he succeeded on the first test. "Thank you Sensei Inazuma." He replied, smiling as he now looked to where the Jounin told him next to do. Now, it was time to not only stand on water, but walk on it as well. He knew that this would cause him a bit of difficulty. The center of the stream, it seemed like such a far distance for him to walk to. He needed to maintain his focus all the way there. He closed his eyes and sighed lightly, imaging himself walking to the area his Sensei had instructed him to go to.

(5/6)
Slowly, Xerato placed one foot in front of the other. He was now taking his first steps on the surface of the water. He couldn't imagine it though, He was actually walking on water. He was really excited about this time as he continued to walk on the surface, the feeling of this success was nice as he moved to the center of the lake. Everything seemed to be so nice now, and before he new that he was where the Jounin instructed him to be, he was there. Xerato smiled with his crimson eyes shining with joy from the success. It didn't seem to be as hard as it used to be now.

Then his joy was turned to worry as the Jounin released two of his pets. One of them seemed only to be a pup who held onto the back of the older one. He never had seen a ninja wolf, and never thought that animals would have been able to preform jutsu like this. "Yes, I understand, I promise you she will not get wet." He smiled as he reached to grab the small child canine, his hand gently combing it's fingers though her hair, trying to relax her with the soft touches against her fur, petting her in order to calm her down.

Though, it didn't seem to work as much. When he pulled her into his arms, she started scratching at him trying to return to her father, it really did seem like she was terrified of the water. It made him wonder what had happened with her to make her so afraid of the water, but he wouldn't think of that right now. "Shh..." He whispered softly as he pulled her weight onto his own. The surface of the water felt like it would give way any moment, but he only focused his chakra even more when he did, sinking a few inches down as the newly found weight was placed onto him.

"You won't get wet, I promise... You have to trust me and stop struggling, I can't keep it up if you keep struggling like this..." His words were calm and assuring as he spoke them, one hand held her body fast against his, while the other petted her, combing his hand against her fur in hopes it would calm her down, nuzzling her in hopes it would calm her down. She seemed like a good girl if she wasn't so terrified of the water.

If she would calm down, he would get the order to bring her back. He slowly walked to the older wolf now, the water seemed to be much harder to walk on with the added weight, but he was able to do it. He concentrated as hard as he could, walking to the wolf's father. Xerato hopped to god that Inazuma didn't do something like he did before. He didn't know if he could hold the wolf's weight AND the unnatural movements of the water, and he didn't want to be bit by the wolf in his hands. When he made it back, he would place the wolf on it's fathers back, hoping that nothing would disrupt him last minute.

It seemed some guy and apparently his sensei were training some basics. It surprises Kensei how people come to the chuunin exams unprepared. He got all of his basics out of the way before hand so he wouldn't have to waste his time doing them since even if he had to do them at this moment, his sensei was no where to be found or any of the two members of his team as well. This was getting boring quick. It seemed the three people he saw in a group were a team. If Kensei had to do this solo, he would without a doubt. He was better off alone any way. He didn't need other team members getting in the way of his attacks or anything else he tried to do. If he had to, he would work as a team without problem but would use them to his advantage, making sure he never put himself in more danger than needed to, especially over people he did not know. Though he would try to not make it obvious of his ruthless ways since he was thinking about leaving his village to pursue his own goals that his village would hold him back from, especially with all the rules they have.

He decided for now to rest by the tree he was training on and watch the other people, mostly focused on the guy training suimen since it seemed he was a swordsman as well.

OOC: Pandora gets a gold star for that :D

IC: Inazuma was impressed at the boy's advance, he almost had it, all that was missing was his mastery of it. "Good job, Xerato. You almost have it now I am going to make you do it without concentrating on it. It has to become second nature to you." Inazuma said as he pulled out a cookie, but not just any cookie Chishio's cookeh's (http://www.ninja-rpg.net/forums/showthread.php?47782-Event-Item-Chishio-s-Cookehs). He winked at the boy and activated Kiga. The boy would feel hungry, and the cookie which smelled so tasty, would entice Xerato. could he use Suimen while he was hungry and such Delicious food was being waved in front of him.

Inazuma held the cookie in his hand, and said "Come and get, it." There was a catch, Inazuma would start running around Xerato so fast that the water would start spinning creating small waves making it hard for Xerato to stand in the water, then Inazuma would throw the cookie at Xerato. Would he be able to use Suimen and catch the cookie while his stomach growled for food?

If he failed with the first cookie Inazuma would wait for him to get back in the center of the lake, and he would start again, until Xerato got it right. When he did Inazuma would stop running and smile at the boy. What Xerato wouldn't see was the wire running down Inazuma's leg, through the water towards Xerato. "Good job, I'm proud of you." He would say as his wire wrapped around xerato's foot and dragged him under the water, he would let him go immediately, and thanks to his adept wire manipulation he would retract the wire. When Xerato swam back to the surface Inazuma would be laughing at him. He would see the genin off and head back to his bench, so he could get back to his book.

As Shiroko entered the waiting area, there were already several people present. Most were lounging around waiting for the next stage of the exam, others were doing some last minute training or so it seemed. He wondered if he could find someone that could cast a genjutsu on him then maybe he could finish up his kai training. Although he had planned on hanging around Sato until the next stage. Shiroko had decided to await the rest of the time here, as he had still to meet his team. Apparently there had once again been changes to it and he had yet to meet one of them in person. He supposed it could not be helped, Shinoa and Shibu probably had their own stuff to worry about. His team was still composed of other Sati. Riysoha-Chan who he had met not too long ago and a person called Anowi, Ken, information said he wore his hair in dreadlocks so Shiroko supposed he'd recognize him pretty quick.

Looking around he did not see Riys-chan nor anyone with dreadlocks. Shiroko simply found a comfortable tree to sit against and sank down in a relaxed manner against it. His right hand tucked in his kimono at the middle and his left resting on the hilt of his sword, which he had put upright leaning against his left shoulder. He'd observe the people around while waiting for the rest of his team. They all seemed capable enough, hopefully all of them would make it out of this alive. He had been told people died at these exams after all. Personally, Shiroko really did not feel like killing other examinees, but he supposed there was always a chance that his hand would be forced. He also wondered what the next part of the exam would entail, if it was competitive his previous fear might well be realized.

After much procrastination, Riys finally made it to the waiting area. Being in Sato had made her want to wander around. But in any case, there she was at the waiting area anyway. At least she didn’t get in trouble for wandering for a short while.

The first thing Riys did was surveyed the area as she stopped upon entering the area. She was positive that Shiro-chan was going to be there but that’s about it. For the first time, a bit of nervousness seized the young girl as she came to a small realization of just what the next part of the exam would be.

Shaking her head violently to clear it, Riys finally spotted Shiroko under a tree, seemingly rather relaxed. She quickly made her way towards her teammate with a light jog while waving at him to get his attention. In the back of her mind, she wondered if her sensei or the last person of her team was there yet.

Ken entered the exam waiting area, completely lost as t who he was looking for or what was going on. He understood in theory what was going to happen, but in practice he was not that good of a test taker. He knew he was supposedly going to be meeting up with his team, but he seemed to have missed the memo about the finer details of who exactly they were. He saw one person, seemingly minding his own business beneath a tree, and a girl who seemed pretty excited to see him, and heading his way. This gave Ken an Idea.

Making his way up a nearby tree using Kinobori, Ken snuck over to the tree where the young man was relaxing. He stood on a branch above the boy, hoping not to attract his attention until the girl came over. As the girl neared, Ken would allow himself to slide to the bottom side of the branch with his feet, so he would be dangling upside down from it. As he came into their view He would say " How are you two love-birds doing? I'm not interrupting anything, am I?" For some reason he would think this was really funny.

It was not long before Shiroko saw a familiar red head bobbing around, making her way into the waiting area, one of his team mates had arrived. Riysoha seemed lost in her own thoughts for a while before she noticed him and came up to him waving. He gave her a short wave with his right hand too acknowledge he had seen her as she neared. "As lively as ever, ne?" He thought amused at the same time wondering how she was doing with that phobia of hers. As she came closer he would give her a bright, kind smile. "Riys-Chan, it has been a while. I am glad to see you in good health." He would pause for a moment, looking the girl in the eyes. "How have you been?" He continued.

Just then, an unfamiliar voice from above mixed in. "How are you two love-birds doing? I'm not interrupting anything, am I?" A young man was hanging upside down from a branch of the tree he was resting against, obviously using kinobori. Shiroko would angle his head up, looking over the boy. He seemed to be around the same age as him, with blue eyes dressed very casual and blonde dreads. Seeing the boys hair and the Sati headband on his forehead, Shiroko ventured a guess. "Anowi, Ken I assume?" He said, his smile faint. Commenting on the boys remark he would continue "Not at all, although I must say. Quite an interesting interruption your entrance would make." His smile would grow broader. "Kirisaki, Shiroko at your service." Shiroko would then wait for the boy to come down, which he assumed he would or a reply from either of his team mates. "Another interesting one, ne?"

Xerato smiled at the compliment from the sensei. It was nice to hear that he was doing well, and he thought he had been finished really, but it only seemed that there would be more. Now it was time to 'master' the jutsu it seemed like he said. He didn't really get what he met by that, but he hadn't really been thinking about that, more of the water at his feet. Slowly, he could do it with less concentration that he had begun doing such, but he had still been using concentration to keep him afloat and walking on the surface.

It was then that the Jounin pulled out the cookie, and almost fell right into the water, just barely keeping afloat with as much as he could think. He never known himself to get so focused on food before, but just the smell made it enough to drain a lot of his concentration away from what he was doing. It was then the Jounin ran circles around Xerato, and he didn't know what to do. With the alluring scent, and the focus he had on the water, and even the movement of the Sensei, he couldn't really think of much else.

Then the Jounin through him the cookie, and he quickly caught it, all the concentration from his jutsu had been taken and he had been standing on the water with his mouth watering. He could faintly here his Sensei congratulate him, and he was just about to take his first bite of the cookie, but was dunked under the water, the cookie disintegration into the liquid as Xerato Surfaced. "Hey, that wasn't cool Sensei Inazuma!" He said before he walked away. He only sighed and swam to the edge of the pool, crawling out and drying himself off. After the cookie thing with the Jounin, he was starting to get hungry, and went to see if there was any way to get food in this area.

The Hyoujun was still high up in the tree, sitting next to Beth as she surveyed the area beneath her. The young swordsman that was swinging at the tree had stopped and looked at her new teammate, Xerato, practice his Suimen. She also studied his movements also as he stepped into the water and fell. At least put one foot in and push against the water.. you don't have to embarrass yourself by falling.. Though I did the same exact thing.. Pandora looked at the older man who taught him and Xerato as they conversed with each other. When it was time that he held the young wolf, she had barely seen the wire that slid under the water and pull Xerato down. Wire technique.. almost similar to the one I have.. Could they both be the same..? Those thoughts were confirmed at the speed and grace at which the wire was returned back to the man. She smiled as she 'discovered' a secret between the two of them. Though it could have just been that the jounin's wire manipulation was better cause of his better chakra control.. Either way.

During the time that Xerato was training, another event was happening not too far off where she was sitting. Three genins were conversing with each other, one of them being a clown; albeit him being a skilled clown because he could hang upside down with his feet. Pandora eyed them subconsciously as her real attention was at her new teammate's training. Keeping an eye on your surroundings was a very good skill to have, and she did not waste it.

“Glad to see that you’re fine too, Shiro-chan.” Riys said as she neared. However as natural reaction, Riys jumped back when someone else spoke and hung upside down from a tree branch. She quickly let a sigh of relief as she realized that he at least wouldn’t get close.

Taking a seat exactly where she is, while not far from her teammates, it wasn’t close either, Riys tilted her head up and grin. “Of course, you wouldn’t believe it if I said that you really were interrupting something now, would you?” Riys made a small movement to brush her hair out of her eyes then waited for the boy to come down from his position. When he did, she would introduce herself, “I’m Sumiyori Riys… Nice to meet you.”

Ken let himself fall from the bottom of the branch, on his way down using, Doton: Shinjuu Zanshu no Jutsu [Earth Release: Inner Decapitation Skill] to dive into into the ground as he fell. He would immediately resurface laughing at his own little trick. "Ha, That was fun!" he would say more to himself than anybody else. Turning to face the two, He would make an attempt first to shake Shiroko's hand, then Riys's. He would say, "My name is Ken, its nice to meet the two of you as well."

A look of concern briefly crossing his face, Ken would then ask, "Soooo... Have either of you seen a team that is missing a member? Ha I am sort of new to this whole gambit, and I can't find my team..." Completely unaware of the fact that Shiroko had already addressed him by his name, or that this should be a red flag as to who these people were.

Riys said her greetings, but naturally jumped back as the boy did his entrance. She'd sighed relied when it seemed their guest was not going to close in on her immediately and sat down where she stood, watching up and answering the tree frog's question. Shiroko smiled at her reaction, as the young man dropped from the tree, shortly disappearing into the ground before resurfacing. "Ha, That was fun!" he'd say reaching out a hand towards him. "A Doton user then." Shiroko would pull himself up a bit from his relaxed seating position and took the offered hand with his own right.

"My name is Ken, its nice to meet the two of you as well." Whether Riys would react as obliging with a handshake he did not know. "Soooo... Have either of you seen a team that is missing a member? Ha I am sort of new to this whole gambit, and I can't find my team..." The youth would continue. "I think you you might have just found that team Anowi-San." Shiroko would say with a smirk "Guess this is the guy,ne?" Shiroko would muse as he kept an eye on Riys to see how she would react to the offered hand. Their new team mate seemed quite straightforward, which might be a problem for the young girl.

Riys watched as Ken dropped down from the branch and disappeared into the ground before resurfacing. When he introduced himself and held out his hand for a friendly handshake, a bewildered look entered her face. Riys instinctively scooted back a bit from where she was sitting and stared at Ken for a while.

She wasn’t sure if she should shake his hand but Riys also knew that if she didn’t, it’ll be rather rude of her. With a decision made in a split second, Riys clenched her teeth and did the best smile she can as she grabbed Ken’s offered hand, shook it once then quickly let go.

Wiping her now sweaty palms on her pants, Riys looked around curiously. “I take it that our team is mostly here… Then has anyone seen sensei?” Riys said with a rather shaky voice that surprised even herself.

A look of relief crossed the genin's face. He hadn't realized he was the slightest bit worried about it actually until he knew he found his team, but the news was great. When he went to shake Riys's hand he completely missed any sign of hesitation on her face, he did notice that she had sweaty palms. In response to her question Ken would shrug his shoulders, "Sorry I have no idea what they look like, otherwise I may be more of a help..."

Ken didn't seem to detered by the lack of a sensei, instead he tried to be inspirational. "Oh we can do this no problem guys! We can totally dominate this!!" Ken was getting totally pumped for this! "What should we do in the meantime though?"

The child would seem very much lost, he was lost clearly lost. He would be looking forth for his teammate, those long missed teammate which he haven't seen or met for awhile.

They should be here and his sensei might still be around here waiting for him, he was late so perhaps he wold be the last one here and would be greeted by the rest if only a blonde 9 year old child in the middle of place filled with shinobi and genin of his rank.

The young genin saw a few faces that caught his eye for a second longer than the rest but she wouldn't care as he didn't.

This was going to be a great time to analyze the competition. So the genin would find some wall and leaning against it he would slide down watching over the genin.

Bethany looked around from her tree top seeing now that most of the people were showing up and it amazed her at all the different types of people that came here some that seemed to want to enjoy themselves others here for selfish reasons and of course those few who were here trying to figure out what they wanted to do with this event and even after it then she turned her attention to the few people still training their basics, not very organized planning schedule but at least they realized they would need it at some point. She watched Xerato train with the strange Jounin looking man but then turned her attention completely back to Xerato just feeling that it was good that he found a team otherwise he would have missed out on the fun and even the bad parts but she wanted people to see that they shouldn't be here for themselves at least not entirely as she flipped off the branch using Tree Climbing to connect to the bottom of the branch as she pulled out her flute and played a soft melody on it. Timushii would only walk in after the small boy and look around. This place was just familiar faces for him, he had come in contact with the lot of them at some point. It could be from TSU days or the WT that he tied in with somebody else who was also in the room. Well, looks like he has a few good fights on his hands, and if he is lucky that damned bird would make it back with his new outfit and items. Hopefully his whole family as well, or who he had left anyway. Kurohoshi didn't come, that was sad indeed, his best friend no place to be found.Their time with each other may have been the point were he learned the most, but this time he was alone. Solo in something that could end deadly for him or anybody else.Lets face it, there are at LEAST three people in this room that wants him dead.

Timushii had to only laugh as he put on his glasses, something he almost never wears do to the goofy nature of the things. It stills some of that threatning look away. He would walk over standing at the wall next to the small by saying "You know any of the people here? I can name a few easy..." Looking over to a side of the room he would see the Kudo he often gets into childish conflict with. He would point and say "Hakatsu Kudo, He often hides as he attacks, using that mist thingy water style users seem to love learning." laughing he would look over to one more young man with a women like figure and say "Thats Shiroko, he is a okay swordsman, no way he is ever easy to take on...So..." He would say looking the small boy in the eyes saying "WHO are you?" right then he would cast Chiru [Chill] a genjutsu that would send a chill up the boys spine to simulate fear. Although there was no reason for trying this Genjutsu he found it fun.

Xerato turned to see Inazuma leave, wondering why it was he chose to leave then wasn't something he could really thing of, but he decided to shrug it off for now. Though, he would have liked to try one of those cookies that he had tempted him with while training his jutsu. He sighed and looked to the sky, smiling as he successfully finished his jutsu training. He looked to his partners who were a little away. He sighed again and closed his eyes. He knew Talon would hate him for this, but for now, he was going to wait to grab her and his weapon idea's until after the exams.

Though, his idea's were quickly altered as he heard a familiar sound, and opened his eyes. He couldn't really recognize her figure from the distance that she was flying at, but the call she gave off after finding Xerato on her way to Sato's messaging tower to see if she could find Xerato. "Master, I found you!" She cried out as she quickly dove down to where Xerato was sitting. He definitely wasn't expecting to see her here.

"Talon.. I wasn't expecting to see you here." He replied, surprised that she had traveled so far. She quickly made her way into the area, Xerato holding his hand up to let her roost there after such a long journey. She didn't say much and just rested herself as he ruffled her feathers, glad that she made her way to the exams so he wouldn't have to make his way without having his long term fighting companion with him. He waited and allowed her to rest as he sat there with her perched on his arm, wondering what possessed her to make such a journey.

"Last time I saw Kemuri-San, was at his house in the desert where I trained. He's probably out on some mission." Shiroko would answer Riys's question "I doubt we'll see him any time soon." He remembered the time he spent in the Sun Country and the meeting with the demon called Alessa. Thinking back he once again wondered why the white haired beauty had needed blood samples. Although he was pretty sure he would not like the answer. Shiroko returned his mind to the present, Ken was pretty confident and gung ho about the exam. He would smile at the boy. "Yes, I'm sure we will be fine if we look out for each other."

When Ken asked what they should do until the next stage he remembered that he still had some kai training to do. "Well, if any of you can cast a genjutsu on me I could finish up my kai training." He grinned and then continued "I was not really able to find anyone before the exam." In the meantime several more people had shown up, even creaking and kicking open doors. Strange as there were none in this outdoors area. He decided to just ignore it while checking out the new arrivals. One of them seemed very young, another ill tempered. Have I ever seemed like the kind of person to practice genjutsu? I was always a Tai-jutsu Ninjutsu type of guy..." He would look away for a moment and give it some thought, Timushii felt like a target, knowning if the snow man was there, his team was also. If he had Kurohoshi & Akahoshi he wouldn't have anything to fear... Although there was nobody he could totally trust right now, the closest person to him at this time was this guy he had only come into contact with once. So he would help him out in the hopes of getting something back.

"Well Shiroko, how about for my help, you watch my back?" He would lean in to hide what he was saying before wispering "There may be a few people gunning for me... I... Upset alot of people you see... And as of right now I have no team. I have lost a total of three teammates plus one Sensei up to this point...." Timushii would then step back and say "I do have one genjutsu, but its kinda hard to notice and wouldn't last more then 10 seconds if that long..." Closing his eyes he would say "You ready?" Opening them he would instantly look Shiroko in the eyes and activate Chiru [Chill] a genjutsu that would send a chill up the boys spine to simulate fear.He would likely feel fear without knowing why but the feeling wouldn't take long to vanish, about 10 seconds like Timushii said. The other trio of genin that had grasped her attention had undoubtedly piqued her interest. Though they were out of hearing range, their reactions and expressions were nevertheless intriguing. Forming her hands for the Henge jutsu, she transformed her height, stature, and most definitely, her hair. What was once white hair, now became raven black, her wavy hair just below shoulder height, and her body color also becoming more 'regular' looking. Her clothes are also black in color, almost a complete opposite of her real form.

Pandora, having looked at the entrance from which the other genin came from, saw a familiar face, first meeting him at the Kagemaru Estate where she trained her basics alongside him, and later met again at the World Tournament, and finally tried to rescue Jashinru Kagemaru from the vampire clan. He was none other than Hakatsu Kudo, who also seemed to be related to Xerato by clan. Of course, she would not tell him that she was who she was, and decided to remain stoic.

Beside her, Beth started singing a rather peaceful and calm melody that brought peace of mind into her soul as two other genin showed up from the door. The first was rather rowdy, the door suddenly swung open and she saw his foot was raised. Apparently, he kicked the door open. The second however, brought a slight frown into her face as she saw a rather recent face. Her last opponent in the World Tournament, Timushii. Looking away, she looked down at Xerato, who had finished his training. He was still topless, as he took off his shirt during his training when Pandora heard the sound of falcon way up high. She slowly looked up to see a falcon diving towards Xerato.

This made her think back about Shiro, her recently befriended Arctic wolf cub from the Hyougaan mountains. Shiro was probably hunting for a small rabbit or a mouse or maybe she was waiting outside, Pandora didn't know. With a sigh, she looked at Xerato. Once they made eye contact, she would beckon him up the tree with his new ability so they could come up with hand signals they may use or strategies.

Xerato had looked towards Pandora and Bethany with a smile, nodding in reply to her beckon to him. He got up from where he sat grabbed his shirt, wringing it out one final time before putting it back onto his body. He could feel the moist fabric against his skin, the water from the river still weighting down the shirt with it's moisture. He walked to where both of his teammates were and did the hand seal that was needed for Kinobori and began to walk up the tree, taking a seat at the top of one next to Pandora.

"So, you called?" He asked with a smile, his crimson eyes watching her as Talon perched on his shoulder, his 'eyes' as he liked to call her sometimes. She also glared at Pandora, but with only half her attention, the other half was focused on the others around her, seeming to be interested in what it was that was happening. Xerato didn't take much time to notice many others, but he did see a Swordsman who was very much like himself, as well as several others who have entered earlier then he had entered. He wondered how many people would really join the Chuunin exams.

Xerato would wait for Pandora to talk as he studied the area. He was curious about who was there, seeming to eye the others who seemed to join the Chuunin exams. He would see if he can see any noticeable strengths and maybe some weaknesses if he looked hard enough. His hand reached up and begun to ruffle Talons feathers, to which she seemed eager to lean into his touch. She clipped her beak together and cooed at the touch against her feathers as he pet her, positioning herself to be petted in the places she liked most, primarily being just under her neck and right above the folds of her wings. .

Well, indeed it was to be expected that Timushii was not a genjutsu specialist, but it did not hurt to ask did it? The Konoki spoke of watching his back as people were apparently gunning for him and about the loss of his team mates and sensei. "That's kind off sad, ne?" He would look at the boy, some pity in his eyes. "Well, I don't really know if I can watch your back, as I already have two others I have to keep an eye on. Depends on the next stage of the exam I suppose. But at least you won't have to worry about me hunting you down, unless you give me cause to do so."

Timushii did however seem to have a minor genjutsu he was willing to cast on him. "You ready?" His fellow genin would say as he prepared to use it. Shiroko prepared to make the most out of the limited time the technique would last. As it activated a chilling sensation ran down his spine. There was no melting flesh nor any change of direction like the other genjutsu's he had practised under in the desert. A strange sensation of worry overtook him, he feared something, but could not really determine what. He'd simply try to ignore thoughts about the actual effects and started to concentrate going against the flow of fear entering his mind.

As before he imagined pushing against the negative flow of chakra forcing it back which in comparison to Shibu's and Naoya's jutsu's went relatively easy. After just two seconds his efforts seemed to take effect, the feeling of unknown dread lessening and his mind regaining a sense of peace. Another few seconds he was overwhelming the mind trick, as Timushii had called it and decided that if there was any time to actually overcome the genjutsu before it ended this was it. Forcing his chakra as hard he could. "kai." As expected the jutsu dispelled, it was indeed more of a trick then an actual genjutsu. Shiroko would blink then looked at Timushii again.

"Well that was...different." He'd say while smiling at the genin. "But every bit helps. Thanks for the help." He would shortly pause while looking back at his team then turned back to the Konoki. "Well, I suppose I should get back to my team and I'm sure you have your own things to do since you still have to find one." Shiroko would make a small inclination of the head. "It was good to see you again Timushii. I wish you the best of luck in the exam." After this he would return to his team mates, unless of course Timushii had more to say.

(Won't actually say the stuff in IC, we shall discuss it in PM's, fyi)

As soon as Xerato was there and properly dressed, Pandora started speaking about the details and strategies and hand signals they can and may use for teamwork. Of course, they would input their ideas and their own strategies and the better ideas would be used. During the middle of the strategy meeting that no one else can hear, a person called up from below.

Looking down, she spotted another familiar face. His name was Tsubame, or Tsu for short. "Would you mind teaching me Gen Kai? You see, my sensei hasn't shown up, and I'd rather not get massacred by some lame-ass genjutsu user and her crew. Please?" She wondered why he would speak to her as she was also a genin, and not some teacher, until she realized her Henge.

Um, I am just a genin, the same as you. She smiled at him as she continued speaking. I don't think I am qualified to teach Genjutsu Kai, and especially show off my genjutsu off to you. Of course, she did not have a Genjutsu, but she would not let him know that. Sorry about that. And nice to meet you. She would lower her head as a sign of respect before turning back to her own teammates and continue talking.

Boredom was upon him and he could not escape it. Kensei stood up and observed everyone there as well as the new arrivals. He didn't feel like conversing with anyone unless they approached him. He always had his fake smile on his face, no one knowing his true emotions since they never surfaced on his face. Deciding to walk around, Kensei made sure to make note of any skills anyone was stupidly enough to show with all the genin there. They did know they were all competing right? They were in teams for a reason and might end up having to fight there teams in the end so Kensei made sure to recall any and all skills he saw here to use for his advantage. Another reason why he didn't want to leave the basics for last was because he wanted to have all his chakra reserves at 100 percent since he could not afford any moment of weakness since it could mean life or death.

OOC: If anyone interacts with Kensei, let me know with an OOC comment on your post since I'm not really reading all of the posts since theres no one my rpc knows here yet.

"True that." Tsu responded to Hakatsu when he mentioned his sensei getting into trouble. He did seem to have a habit of getting over his head. However, he also had a knack for getting out of those sticky situations. Miraculously.

Tsu was disappointed to hear that this older lady was still a genin, but she did seem a little old to still be hanging around kids. I mean she looked like she was 20 or something.

Anyways, Tsu pushed this to the back of his mind and looked around for more Jounin looking fellows which could teach him. If any Jounin were walking through the look on Tsu's face was one that desperately needed to be trained in the ways of Gen Kai. Though from the reactions from Hakatsu, Tsu gathered that he was already caught up.

The kudo smiled back at the girl above, not really bothering with the whole thing. Infact he had already recieved his basics and it wasn't a good experiance like usual. Well, she seemed different and it didn't seem like she was joking but she was indeed respectful and stuff.

"Erm you sound like a friend I know, Hope we can become friends too."

That was all he said as he bowed and tended back to his teammate predicimate. Not really knowing what he should do but it was clear that he need it.

"Well, if it makes you feel a bit better. I could Kai you out."

It wasn't that far from truth, but the fact that this genin was ahead in some aspect was clear. If only he had made time to get some new specail gear.

Xerato would calmly listen to Pandora's plans for the strategy for fighting and the team itself. She did definitely seem to be smart for even a genin. If he had known she was in henge, he wouldn't have believed it most definitely. Though, for now, he listened to what appeared to be the sixteen year old female. Her plans were definitely good, but now it was his tern to put some input into the conversation. Though, before he could converse his own plans and idea's for the team, they were interrupted by a male who had asked if she could teach him the Basic jutsu kai.

This made him think a little bit about himself. He didn't want to cause Pandora or Bethany trouble because of his 'weakness' for this part of the Chuunin exam, and he new that their was a possibility they might fight in the second part which would have a disadvantage for himself. He would just shake those thoughts away and wait for Pandora to dismiss the boy who had interrupted him, he doubted she would be able to provide the proficient training he wanted based on the age that she looked like, and the fact she was also a Genin.

"Well, those are good idea's, but..." He started before beginning to talk about his own idea's about their team work, and their battle plans. he would modify Pandora's plans just slightly for his idea's as well as add a few that she had not said yet. After he had finished, he turned his attentions to the both of them, looking at Pandora and then to Bethany for their idea's on his plan, and waited for Bethany input as well.

Hitomi finaly entered the waiting area having taken a slight detour to pick up a jutsu scroll along the way. Now she meerly ignored the other genin and made her way across the foot bridge and went to one of the huts where she layed the scroll out in front of her.

The jutsu it contained was fairly basic, only a D rank ment to form a rod of wood, though she had other plans for it. A simply rod was no good for her but she already had ideas on how to change it into something a little more her. Her 'friends' had helped her think it up. Oh yes, they were aways helping her out. Comeing up with ideas she normaly would have over looked. Yes, this would help give form to some of the smaller ones. Definatly. And if she did it right, oh they would fly. But first, came altering this jutsu. The rod would have to be thinner, but the grain set correctly so it didn't burst. It would also need something to stabalize flight...leaves could probably work as the fletching. That would allow most of the mass to be placed in the head...

"The stage is set, let's go discuss things somewhere a little more... private," He nodded, his tone cheerfully optimistic, dragging Takara by the hand if he had to. Sweeping up in one of the sheltered areas of the waiting section. Once there, he began to discuss his plans in serpent, telling her the meeting spot, before noticing a male. He looked rather... uninterested?

"Pleasure to meet you, sir. I am Nakamura. Your name?" He asked, patiently gauging his response, measuring up the boys merit. They were away from the other, louder members, and he wanted to take this opportunity to make some 'friends'. "You were one of the more interesting ones I saw in the written portion. I wish you well during this test. If it was anything like the written section, this'll be amusing..."

Keishi's silver gaze turned from the area to look on the individual who decided to speak to him, the first who had decided to try. He studied the boy for a moment, before turning to look at his companion briefly. His silence continued for a few hearbeats before he responded in rather strongly accented common, "This one is Ayatsuri" he said quietly, barely able to be heard over the chatter of the louder genin not too far away.

"And I'm Tsubaki, nice ta meetcha!" the little puppet girl in his lap said, grinning widely at the boy, one hand tucking a lock of hair behind her ear.

With a giggle she would allow herself to be dragged, but her mood would turn sour at the site of the other female she was being dragged towards. And oh yeah, there was a guy there too. She would remain silent for a bit, only offering up her last name if spoken too. She would refrain from anything rash for the time being, but if that girl so much as touched her Yuichi-kun, alliance be damned she was going to tear her apart. Misaka (http://www.ninja-rpg.net/forums/showthread.php?50922-Nagare-Misaka-Genin) yawned a little as she walked into the waiting area, noting people starting to head out. That was odd. Maybe she was lacking enough information or something. That was entirely possible. Regardless, she arrived and took a look around, before her eyes narrowed sharply. Na. Ka. Mu. Ra. Or the name she would soon find out, at any rate, as she gritted her teeth and sharpened her glare, staring daggers at the boy as she walked forward. And his girlfriend. Marching up to the duo [and Keishi and Tsubaki, incidentally], she paused about two feet away, clearing her throat a little.

"So, Nakamura... I believe you gave me a present last time... mints, I believe it was? Would you mind if I returned the faaaaaaavor? I'm sure Hyoujun Miyuki-sensei might be able to give me a good idea what to do..." With a mischevious grin, her facial expression didn't match the rest of her body at all. Her body had its fists clenched, looking very aggressive in the direction of Yuichi, while her face was pleasant and joking, displaying the fact it was clearly a trick. Making sure she held Yuichi's gaze, she mouthed the words very slowly, such that anyone [actually, only Yuichi really] would be able to read it. "Team up?"

With a sigh, her aggressive posture disappeared and her hands floated to her hips, frowning. Well, at least Ayatsuri and Tsubaki were nice and polite. "Pleased to meet you, Ayatsuri-san, Tsubaki-san, Nakamura-san, and miss.... I'm called Misaka." Smiling pleasantly, Misaka's eyes watched each of them, prompting Takara for her name. There was one girl in one area of the place [Minori] that had briefly caught Misaka's attention, but she had more of a focus on what was directly in front of her for now.

Xerato said one last thing to both Pandora and Bethany before they were directed out of the room and into the new exam area. He quickly jumped from the tree he was on and followed Bethany out of the area, wondering what the next place would be like, and then turning back to see if Pandora had been following them to the next exam, hoping that he wouldn't be to much of a burden. He sighed and shook his head, Talon who rested on his shoulder nudged her beak against his hair, tugging at it softly as if to detract him from his distraught she sensed within him.

"Do not worry Talon... I will be okay..." He said with a half fake smile on his face. His emotions were definitely getting the best of him, his face filled with uncertainty and his stomach filled wit butterflies. He shook his head again, trying to get these thoughts out of his head before he would continue to next part of the Chuunin exams. ""Wish me luck, my pretty birdie~" He chucked, but Talon only huffed in a reply, showing her distaste upon the nickname he chose for this moment in time. At least her attitude would keep him on an upbeat note for the exams?

"Ah, you know Miyuki~hime, do you?" Yuichi grinned, noting another of the ones he scoped out. He recognized her well from the trials - the one he had pelted with mints, encoded with a super-secret message of awesome ninja-sauce. "Hah... I could give a damn about that," He grunted, glaring daggers in her direction. Then he gave a thumbs up and responded with his own comments, only in her direction, in a way in which only she would be able to understand. "GTFO. Naw, kiddin', let's do this."

"I joke. Any friend of Miyuki~hime is a friend of mine," Turning to Tsubaki, the livelier of the two, Yuichi bowed. "I am, as Misaki Onee~chan said, Nakamura-kun." Pulling Takara close, he cuddled her up with a loose arm. "This is the beautiful miss Souku~chan. Hit on her and you die. Slowly." He nodded, wanting to make this clear. Shifting on his feet, he stared over at the woman in the corner, Minori, and Keishi, and Takara, and Misaki. And then there was this unknown woman, Shinoa, who had yet to appear.

"And now we wait. One has yet to arrive, and that one in the corner may be of interest..." He nudged, staring in Minori's direction; this was one of the final ones who had caught his eye when he scoped out the exams. "Either way, anyone care for a mint?" He pondered, flicking out his case. Keishi took in this interaction the same way he took everything, with a completely blank expression, filing away everything into his memory. The slightest hint of surprise showing itself at the mention of his Shisho, a surprise that was voiced by Tsubaki. "Wait, you know Miyuki-sensei? dull green eyes darted between Yuichi and Misaka.

The silver haired teen then frowned minutely, "This one does not have any desire to hit Souko unless she becomes an impediment to finishing its objective..." he trailed off as a new thought came to him, "unless perhaps you wish to copulate with her, and are attempting to ward off a potential rival" he looked to Nakamura with what passed for curiousity in the Ayatsuri's book of expressions (a very small book)

Tsubaki meanwhile got up to stand near Misaka, the green eyed girl staring unabashedly at the 'older' female before her.

And with the newcomer, also a female, Takara didn't know how to properly control the level of hate she was feeling, constantly switching her glares between the two every few seconds. That is, until Yuichi had pulled her against him. It was a miracle she didn't suffer a nose bleed. Stifling an involuntary shudder, she latched onto the boy and smiled with glee. "And this... is MY Nakamura-kun. Hit on him and die. Slowly." The words said with sickening glee. These love birds where simply nauseating where they not?

Regardless, Takara would wait and watch, observing the surrounding area for anyone who might be ease dropping on them. She wasn't going to let her guard down, not for a moment. The name Miyuki kept coming up an awful lot, and it annoyed her greatly (Just how many woman did her Yuichi-kun know!), until the word Sensei appeared. Some of the genin proceeded towards the door without a second thought while others stayed behind to converse more.

Pandora looked ahead to see her two teammates already go through the door and sighed. Now that this place was less crowded, we could have talked more on this side..

OOC: It is okay, Pandora. Don't worry about it.

"Just how many people know Miyuki~hime?" He pondered, a grumbling a bit through a curiously pained expression. It was rather unusual, given his trademark grin. "We shared shiny-" Abruptly, the Genin stopped, as if worried. Glancing by his shoulders, he eyed Takara, then coughed, adjusting his comment. "-Weapons. Yes. Shiny weapons."

Phew. That was a close one. Telling her he got a shiny crotch from another woman would've been suicide... Either way! The Lune nodded nonchalantly, rubbing his sleeves, as if said weapon(s) was contained within. It was his very brand new Coiler Chains, along with a ton of other Coil-assorted weaponry, as well as some Chainet Bombs and a Marriage Bomb or ten. He had even managed to replace most of his chains with his new coiled version, as well. "Unfortunately, I'm not showing until it's necessary. Trade secret."

Moving on, Yuichi raised an eyebrow at the lads next comments, then shrugged dismissively. "Already passed that mission." Leaning in close, so that Takara hopefully wouldn't hear, he whispered with minty-fresh breath ever-so-softly... "Pst. She bites. Hard." Flicking his case, the Genin unpacked a single mint more, then flicked it towards the woman in the corner. Minori, being the ever sneaky, but not according to her st/wk set-up, was somewhat listening in on the collection of ninja off to the side. One of the girls was obsessed with one of the boys, and another girl was unable to figure out facial expressions, but nothing was really very interesting over there, at least, according to Minori's ears. What WAS interesting, however, was the pure number of people in that gathering. If teams were the goal here...well, Minori lacked a team. And, if the projectile flying towards her mouth was any indication, they were wanting her attention.

Minori could smell the mintyness before it reached her; she opened her mouth in an attempt to catch the mint, only to have it bounce off of her lower lip. The girl's normally cheerful expression sobered and she slouched over to the group.

"I'm listening."

Minori checked the egg in her pouch-as early as yesterday, she had been wondering what would hatch from it, and noting that it would take some time. Now, however, she was astounded to find that the egg was moving around sometimes. It must be close to hatching!

In any case, she simply returned attention to the group.

Shinoa showed up late. Of course. She had to, especially after having to stop by an official that claimed to have been given some items for her. So now, while wearing Soroi no Neko (http://www.ninja-rpg.net/forums/showthread.php?51794-Suit-Soroi-no-Neko-Shinoa), and under the influence of Shattered mind (http://www.ninja-rpg.net/forums/showthread.php?51456-Pills-Bag-of-Pills-Shinoa-Kurohoshi-Shinra&p=1516588#post1516588), the genin woman now had in her possession several new toys to torture with. One of which being her custom ordered ShineDowns (http://www.ninja-rpg.net/forums/showthread.php?53424-Chains-ShineDown-Kurohoshi-Shinra-Shinoa). The other two, while not as potent, were just as important. With two copies of Never Seen (http://www.ninja-rpg.net/forums/showthread.php?53426-Necklace-Never-Seen-Kurohoshi-Shinra-Shinoa) around her neck and several Tension bombs (http://www.ninja-rpg.net/forums/showthread.php?52528-Bomb-Tension-Bomb-Amelia-Miyuki-Shinoa-Yuichi) hidden throughout her suit, the Kurohoshi felt strapped. But yet, at the same time, she felt as if she didn't have enough. Like she was missing quite a few things that she may need access to later. But she would have to that figure out later. For now, she had other things to worry about. Like her new team.

Due to her current assignment, she had been reassigned to a different team. Making friends again. That would be easy? Right? ....Right? Well no time to regret now. Instead, Shinoa, under the psuedonym Nyancat Supremecakes, or Nyan for short, would prance over to the group that was left in the room. Seemed like this could be her team. Or Shinoa, now just being extremely playful due to her current state, could be entirely wrong. The latter seemed like it could be the right group. Slowing down her pace, Nyan would begin attempt to sneak up on the group. Which was an idea built from failure, seeing as how Shinoa inherently sucked at stealth. She was more of a tackler....so why not greet the people by tackling them? But that would be bad. But then again, Nyan didn't give a flying hollar. She just wanted to have fun and achieve self gratification. And so she proceeded to tackle them all playfully while saying aloud to only the group.

"Never Fear! Nyancat Supremecakes is here!!!

Yuichi smiled pleasantly at this woman approaching; a new ally, if things went well, though she seemed to be preoccupied with something. Odd, but no matter. "Excellent. I am Nakamura. Yourself?" He asked, curious as to what he should call her. Then again, they've all probably been using false names. Especially that Misaka chick. No way her name was the genuine article. Opening his mouth as if he were about to speak, he noticed a raging chick rushing towards them. "What the hell?"

Sighing, Yuichi noticed the newcomer rushing directly at Miss Souku... and, well, he wouldn't have any of that. Swinging his arm in an arch, Yuichi unleashed his Binding Chains in a full swing, seamlessly lead on through Chain Manipulation as they detached into 5 separate pieces. Assuming his aim was true, the streams of linked steam would coil around the woman and bind her arms and legs together in a mesh of steel. He'd go straight for the limbs first, clinking each together in a custom made Kusari Gappei induced shackle. Pulling the bound one in, be it in a cocoon or otherwise, Shinoa would find her limbs fully caught.

"Since you were late, allow me to reiterate... No, scratch that, let me rephrase it altogether," He muttered, hoisting her into her feet in front of him. "This is the beautiful miss Souku~chan. Touch her and you die. Slowly." Staring at the woman, now that he had a better view, he had to ask... "W-wait, Ny-nyan... c-c-c-ca-... cat?" Oh god. If you knew Yuichi, you would know what's coming next.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" Flipping his arms, Yuichi would friggin' run like hell behind the nearest tree, feeling his heart pounding a mile-a-minute. "WHY... Is there a CAT... In the EXAMS....." On the verge of tears, the proud Genin calmed himself, taking deep breaths. Once ready, he peeked out, staring at the object of his nightmares once more. She was more hideous and foul than anything he had ever seen before! "Nooooo! Cats aren't supposed to be human sized! Damnit, damnit...! I'll kill you, if only you weren't so... catlike! Argh!"

Crawling back behind his tree, the Genin popped a mint to calm himself, muttering the words "Cat... cat... caaaaat...." over and over again in a low, terrified, and almost maniacal tone. Takara, on the other hand, would hear a question being directed at her, in an ever-so-sweetly pleasant tone. "Souku~chan, darling. Why didn't you tell me we were working with a cat?" Queque. Well, then. This kind of sucked.

Rage mod initiated. The C word has been spoken and now it was on. Her lover was dearly afraid of cats, so this newcomer clearly had to go. This post isn't fairly long because her reaction was simple, she would rush in to try and 'tackle' Shinoa with a Kunai, hissing verbal threats in snake all the way. Dear Yuichi, or rather Nakamura, would have to stop her. Or someone. It wouldn't do for there stealth if she blew there cover. No, no it would not. In response to Yuichi's answer, it would be quite obvious that she didn't know. She didn't particularly mind cats, but she would protect her Yuichi-kun from the scourge with her very last breath.

Interrupting the flow of the last order, Yuichi shot another slew of chains from his bracers as she ran towards the creature; these would wrap around Takara and pull her directly to him. Behind the tree. "Stop that! Are you insane? It's a cat! You don't mess with cats, they'll rip you to shreds!" Shivering, he took a few deep breaths before continuing. The next line would possibly surprise her.

"Which makes her an excellent teammate! If I'm this afraid, think of how terrified our enemies will be!" Indeed, it was his Lune blood uprising. Either he was being insanely clever, or just flat out insane. Hint: it was the latter. Mock laughter rolled from his lips, awkward at best, but they would get the point across. A teammate is still a teammate. Even if it was the most terrifying thing he had ever encountered.

"Ah, right, I almost forgot..." Snapping the other binding chains, which were still attached to miss Nyancats, she was snapped loose and freed through his sectioning ability. "I, er, apologize, you... c-c-cat... But, I'm, well... You just... You freak me out, is all." Followed by a nodnod, that was apparently the end of his freakout. Even though he was attempting to maintain at least a 10 meter distance from her. And was still hiding behind a tree. Oh dear, this team pairing would be interesting...

He did note that the one called Nakamura reacted strangely to the person whom seemed to be dressed as a stylised feline of some description. He analyzed the newcomer, trying to determine what purpose such garb would serve. There would almost certainly be a purpose behind it. His own leather attire was designed for mobility and protection.

Tsubaki walked over to the cat person, poking her curiously to see if she was a human or not. "We're now in an alliance, unless there are any objections. Me, Nyan, and Souko on team one. Ayatsuri, Tsubaki, Misaka, and Minori on team two. I have prepared 8 rings. 4 go to each team. 3 will be specific to that each team, but 1 will be specific to our combined team in general. I will hold onto the 1 ring connecting our two teams. Team two may decide who bears the interjoined ring." Continuing with a demonstration, Yuichi showed off how the rings worked, each flashing different colors obvious to what it meant. Hopefully they'd be able to understand from just that, but if not, he would go further in depth. In any case, he continued.

"Ladies and gentlemen, our objective is simple: Pass. To do that, we only need to ensure that everybody else fails. To that ends, I propose this fellowship of sorts. We will back-up and provide support for one another. At the end of the day, we will be the last ones standing. As for any traitors to our joint cause, well..." Yuichi shrugged dismissively, implying the next course of action. It was on everyone's lips, but there was no need to say something so obvious when it was already felt in full. "Additional details are in here," Yuichi finished, tossing a white envelope towards whoever would receive it. It contained all they would need to know. "Burn it when you're done." Latching onto his team, but making Takara touch the cat, Yuichi made the handseal for Kiri Shunshin. With that, they disappeared to the next section in a burst of water vapour. But not before tossing Shinoa a scroll full of goodies; he has received word through Takara that Nyancakes had similar interests. Doom.

"I believe it's time we proceed. I look forward to this. Farewell, and good luck."

"Stop that!" Limp like a rag doll, Takara would freeze her movements and turn her head to glance at him. Had it been anyone else she would have ignored them completely. But it was Yuichi, and for that she would listen, always. She would of course be yanked back behind the tree, but not like she was complaining. Unfortunately for Yuichi, Takara would fly straight into him and land herself a kiss on his panicked face. He was absolutely insane, and she loved it. "What ever you say~"

Slipping on her ring she would listen to different effects and make a note of them, they had all passed it seemed onto the next round. A tiny smirk slithered up her cheek, Nakita still hidden within her scarf. Now was where it really mattered and where things where going to get tough. While the rest of the group was busy discussing however, she was fiddling with a scroll in her pocket. She had recently visited her grandfather in sun country and had a tearful reunion. Well, at least he did. He had given her a few new viney toys to add to her collection, a replacement for her whip and a new breed of vine. Where he had gotten them was beyond her knowledge. But, she wasn't going to look a gift horse in the mouth. She was about to say something when Yuichi grabbed her and the cat woman, but her retort was quickly cut off as she was shunshined away. "Just remember, the boy is mine!"

Minori would smile brightly and wave at Misaka. Minori was a good girl. Not like other characters, who would blow up Nagare, or who would hunt down and kill a few A-ranked missing nin out of boredom, no, she was a nice, sweet person. So, she would be happy. Also, she wasn't nearly as insane as some of the others here, so there was that. "My name's Minori."

And then, she would begin; she had been putting this off for a long time, so now was the time. Minori dropped to her butt, crosslegged, and began focusing chakra. The girl was ready to start training a brand new jutsu, something she would contribute to the Order afterwards. For now though, this was hers; she planned to make a jutsu similar to a scroll she had read about in the archives, but more suited to her needs. Specifically, it would function like a little spy.

Minori focused her Katon chakra in front of her and let it build up til she had a decent fire started in front of her. That amazing euphoric feeling struck her as she used her chakra, and a smile lit her face-but she could only afford to be lost in her euphoria for a short while. Minori took control of the flames and forced them to remain contained. Her proposed jutsu wouldn't be much good if it was allowed to escape her grasp, after all.

Minori would let the others do what they will; she had work to do! Hopefully it would be done quickly enough though...she felt like she was lagging seriously behind.

The egg started making noises. It's making noises inside! It's going to hatch soon!

OOC: Day 2 of 3

IC: Minori would continue focusing on the jutsu, and would now try to focus it into a shape that suited her. At first, she had no idea what to try; what she read in Kainushi, the original technique she derived this from, was that every Kainushi was different; how could the jutsu have worked that out though? Minori sighed and simply continued trying.

As she focused on the jutsu, she would find herself stuck in some sort of strange trance; her mind was lost in the fire, trapped in some kind of world outside her own. As she continued on in her trance, her hands slowly shifted; no longer were they in the last seal, Tiger, of the jutsu...they were changing form to create the rabbit seal. As the seal was formed, the fire began to shift in form; where there was an amorphous mass of flame before, there were now ears; the base of the flames shifted to form tiny paws.

The longer Minori seemed stuck in her trance, the more complete the shift became. The ears elongated, the flames coalesced into a more recognizable form; Minori finally exited her little trance to find herself face to face with an adorable fire bunny. Minori gasped, squealed, clapped, and generally made a fool of herself (not necessarily in that order). However, the technique was not yet complete. There was one more component to this jutsu she needed to figure out; it was time for srs bzns.

A single crack appeared down the length of the egg, and it shook once, sending egg shards soaring. What? The egg is hatching!

OOC: Day 3 of 3

IC: The next part of her training meant focusing on the creature enough to allow Minori to sense with the creature's senses and to let her control it remotely. The remote control would be the first part. Minori concentrated hard on the rabbit, willing it to step to the side. Tentatively, almost like it was just messing around with the poor girl, the bunny stepped off to the side, one paw at a time. Minori's face was red, since she had stopped doing that pesky breathing thing while focusing on the jutsu. When the bunny moved, she finally inhaled and fell backwards.

When she looked down between her legs at the rabbit, it sat there, staring back at her. So it won't move without my input...good to know. Minori sat back up and put her hands back in the seal she had woken up to them being in. As she willed the rabbit to move, it started getting easier and easier; eventually, Minori had the bunny moving around as if it were alive, and it was quite good at being alive; she was making it do backflips, it had picked up a stick somehow and began doing the Michigan J. Frog (copyright Warner Bros) dance, it made friends with a spider who started making weird messages in webs...unfortunately, Minori didn't believe in intelligent spiders, so she had her fire bunny jump into the web and incinerate the spider...kids, the moral here is not to make friends with something a hundred times your size that is also made out of fire.

The next, most crucial part was seeing, hearing, and smelling through the respective body parts of the bunny in question. Thankfully, Minori was a boss, so this all happened pretty quickly. No sooner had she willed it did she discover that moving while doing this was unlikely; it was simply too disorienting to have to sort out two senses AND move around simultaneously.

In any case, her jutsu was complete, and she let it disperse. Victory. Now, she would wait for the other members of her team to make a decision about what they were planning on doing. It could be assumed that she would follow them.

She wasn't done in his post, however. The egg exploded! And, sitting in her backpack among shards of egg was a real life bunny; not one that could dance, likely, but even so, it was here. Minori smiled and told the rabbit it's name was Caer'bannog (Cae for short), the namesake of a terrible beast of legend, and then continued on her merry way.

Kensei saw people coming and going but no one he knew. Some people he recognized such but no one he really knew well enough to converse with. After being bored by finding no one to talk to that he knew and not wanting to talk to strangers, he left to the next part of the exam regardless of anyone else just arriving.

Ruari had entered the waiting area awhile ago. He just didn't make his presence known because he was looking to see if anyone would talk to his teammate. Since no one has talked to him so far, Ruari would walk over to Tenzo and sit down with his back against the wall by Tenzo.

After Ruari was by his teammate, he would say, "We need another teammate." Hopefully, this would alert anyone near without a team to approach the duo.

Tenzo watched on eye gazing over all of the other students and it seemed like the room was thinning and his teammate had arrived. The genin didn't really care until he said they needed another mate for there team. It made sense for them to try and recruit but who was available? with that Ruari made a little announcement to the remaining people and that would hopeful solve there problem.

The kid hopped up onto his feet dusting himself off and would wait for the first person to walk up and take risk with tenzo and ruari.

By the look of the jutsu Hitomi wouldn't need to alter it too much to get the results she'd need. The hand seals would be able to stay the same save one. It was really all in how she shaped the chakra when it came time. It was after a minute of studing later that she felt she knew the handseals well enough and put the scroll away. However before she got the chance to start practicing it she heard Ruari calling out for a team member.

She raised her hand and walked over. "If you need a member I could help you out there. I'm teamless as it is."

Ruari would hear some girl came over and state that she did not have a team. Ruari would smile and say, "My name is Ruari, and my teammate and I are just one person short. If you would like to join us, then you are welcome."

After this, Ruari would move his keyboard Saol to his lap and started to play a song on it. The song sounded similar to this song (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BLGr4ur-k00).

After his teammates quick announcement it turned heads but only one reacted to it. It was a girl, now he didn't care who it was but he surely was loving that it was her now. She was much taller than the young boy and he would stand there silent until she and his teammate started to talk to each other.

"Yeah, if you could join us that would be wonderful, I'm Tenzo Senju. In fact I think we are suppose to go to the next stage." The young genin would pull out a kunai and start swinging it around his finger tips as he walked away.

Keishi snatched the letter out of the air, glancing at it briefly before handing it to the female called Misaka, who he was apparently going to be working with. "This one has no interest in being team leader. It will await your arrival in the next area" he stated in a monotone to the two arbitrarily designated teammates, Tsubaki giving a little wave as he moved off. He had his orders, as long as they didn't jeopardise them he would do as required.

The Woman would ignore everything that happened to her, accepting it as just random going ons that were happening. Of course, that was until she was given a scroll. Within it held not only the chains (http://www.ninja-rpg.net/forums/showthread.php?52678-Chains-Binding-Chains-Yuichi) that he used to wrap around her, but a particular bomb that seemed to be called Chainet, and items called coilers (http://www.ninja-rpg.net/forums/showthread.php?53491-Chains-Coilers-Yuichi) with instructions for all of it. Lastly, the scroll seemed to contain a jutsu that would allow her to bind all her chains together. It seemed like this scaredy pussy was a chain user as well. Who knew? Well Nyancat didn't. And as she was marveling these trinkets as well as her set of ping rings (http://www.ninja-rpg.net/forums/showthread.php?19530-Ring-Ping-Ring-Genin&p=709415#post709415), she would be whisked away by Shunshin. Misaka deftly caught the ping rings and pocketed them, not making any attempts to look like she was catching anything. Plucking the letter out of the air, Misaka and the group presumably read it, though Misaka briefly skimmed and tossed the letter at Minori, flailing her arms and backing up, letting out a shriek. "What the... No! You're so... ugh! How could you even think that? I...I hate you, Nakamura! Stay the hell away from me!" Misaka was making a serious fool of herself, screaming at the top of her lungs and generally making a scene. In fact, she looked utterly revulsed, taking more steps backwards before covering her mouth as though she was about to throw up and then gritted her teeth, making an expression of serious anger before running off. Stupid Nakamura! Well, she couldn't be blamed for acting that way, considering what he had just tried. Before Minori and Keishi could leave, however, she left behind a message. Regardless, off she went, like the lightning in the storm.
