The Ryushin Clan

Clan Name: Ryushin

Village: Satogakure; Village Hidden in the Shroud

Special Language: Draconian (an Ancient Language that the clan still uses today)

Main Element:
The Ryushin Clan are separated into three different main family bodies, each of which have their own elemental ties. The Ryushin-Kon, which embodies the Spirit of Dragons, are more attune to Wind or Sand chakra natures, both being difficult to grasp that representing their freedom of spirit. Ryushin-Heru, which embodies the Heart of the Dragons, are more attuned to Fire or Water nature chakra, both showing emotion and tender hearts that represent their compaction for others. Ryushin-Hada, which Embodies the Body of the Dragons, are more attuned to the Earth or Lightning nature chakra, both showing their strength and speed that one needs to acheive a 'perfect body'. When a Ryushin clan member takes a second element, they are more likely to take the other chakra nature, but are not limited into only having the suggested chakra elements.

Ryushin-Kon :: Fuuton /or/ Sunaton
Ryushin-Heru :: Suiton /or/ Katon

Name: Rushin, Tsuya
Alias: Mother Tsuya (Clan Members)
Age: 139 Years

Background: Tsuya was born as in the line of the clans Mother, she is in charge of reading the children and determining if they were born with the "dragons blood." Since childhood, her 'parents' have raised her with training to become the Clans 'mother' and lead the clan as its head. She didn't have time for the normal life of a child, nor the relations that one would have normally. All her time was spent studying the dragons text and the ancient ways of her ancestral duty. She longed for a normal life, and often ran away from the family, only to be tracked down and brought back to her chained life. In time, she grew accustom to such things, finally taking her role in and accepting that she was to be the clans next leader, and when the previous leader passed away and she took charge, she swore that no others would be stripped from their families and trained as she was just just to make a new clan mother, forbidding the act to completely isolate the next 'mother' and allowing her heir to have the life she was forbidden to have during her training. Now she spends her time leading major clan issues, training her heir to become the next 'mother', and reading the clans children to determine if they would be the next to bare the Dragons Blood.

Appearance: Tsuya has a tall, thing frame, showing her well build, slim and lean body to the fullest. She normally wears a black top and jeans, uninterested in the 'appropriate' attire of a female. Being of pure blood to the Ryushin clan, she has their sharp golden eyes as well as their pointed ears, along with long crimson hair running down to the base of her spine. Her jaw is pointed with the angles of her face sharp and narrow. She may look cold, but behind her eyes shows the heart of a woman that cares for her clan. Her royal mark is branded on her back, scared into her skin by the ritual she was put through to prove her loyalty to her clan.

Personality Tsuya is kind and caring, and honorable soul that would be considered one of the highest of Ryushin clan. She has a soft spot for younger children, often overlooking minor things that they may do, and even having a higher tolerance for them in most cases. The opposite can be said for adult men, often showing an open distrust for them when they walk near her. She is stern and strict with her rules, but just and caring for her clan, doing whatever would be the best for them even at the risk of her own being.

Type:
Another way that they Ryushin family bodies are seperated in the way the way that they "Dragon Blooded" are trained and raised. Those of the Ryushin-Kon are normally raised and trained in the style of Genjutsu, learning to cast illutions and play games on others. Those of the Ryushin-Heru are trained in Ninjutsu to better embody their knowlage and emotions though 'spells' that are known to the Shinobi as Jutsu. Those of the Ryushin-Hada clan are taught with strict Taijutsu training, teaching them how to fight with their ancestral weapons or their own bodies. While their training is normally focused on one area, most are able to secondary in a second fighting type. Although the clans training is very strict in the fact that they have to be either a Specialist or Primary fighter of their Families type.

Ryushin-Kon :: Genjutsu (Specialist or Primary)
Ryushin-Heru :: Ninjutsu (Specialist or Primary)
Ryushin-Hada :: Taijutsu (Specialist or Primary)

Symbol:

The Ryushin clan symbol is one that is held in high regards of the clan, often used as a mark of their dragon blood. Their clan is closely bonded together within their family groups, and everyone is known when their is a child who is born with "dragons blood" in their vein. Those who are born with such blood are branded, the Ryushin clan mark scarred on their back to show that they were chossen by the dragons to recieve their gift and train to become shinobi. Others of the clan often carry a medallion or pendent to show their loyalty within their clan, some even marking their own clothing with their mark, but only those born with the Dragons Blood may bare this mark on their skin.

Style:
Each of the Ryushin branches have a different style of fighting as well as type of fighting. The Ryushin-Kon specialize in long ranged righting, coupled with their illusions of Genjutsu to wear out their opponent. They avoid face to face confrontations, and when they are forced to do such, they prefer to stick with ranged combat fighting. Ryushin-Heru specialize in Ninjutsu, and commonly use Mid-ranged fighting style techniques. They also avoid face to face confrontation, but to a lesser degree then the later, using their jutsu and weapons to keep the opponent at a comfortable distance. The Ryushin-Hada clan expertise on close ranged fighting, using their speed and strength in combat. They prefer face to face confrontations, though normally use their agility over strength, more often dodging or deflecting an attack then to block an attack directly.

Ryushin-Kon: Long Ranged Style, Using Illusions and misdirection to wear down their opponent before finishing them off after they have no strength left. Stealth and Illusion are their main weapons.
Ryushin-Heru: Mid ranged style, using Jutsu and clan weapons to keep their opponent at a comfortable distance while assaulting them with powerful spell like attacks. Jutsu and Adaptability are their main weapons.
Ryushin-Hada: Close Ranged style, using their speed over their opponents to deflect and dodge attacks, creating openings for them to strike head on whenever they can. Strength and Speed are their main weapons.

Social Standing:
The Ryushin are considered a well known and honorable family that live on a dormant volcanic island within the Sato region, they are close nit to each other and have a very close relation despite the fact that they have different training methods in their on stile. As a whole, they are seen upon as a Agricultural clan, those who do not bare the dragons blood normally work within the clan to farm the rich volcanic soil. They supply Sato with the majority of their agricultural supplies as well as several different volcanic materiel to metal smiths who wish to use the rare minerals found on their clans island home.

# of RPC Members Allowed: Infident; Limitations (See Below)
While the Ryushin clan is not a relatively small clan, only those born with the "Dragons Blood" are considered possible candidates for the training of Shinobi. While there are normally no more then five of a clan family (fifteen in total) who actually have the 'dragons blood', recent exposure to the outside world has given an increase to the actual number born with the gift. Although, those who are born outside the clan normally are unable to summon the ancient dragons or form a close relation with the clans lizards, they do have access to their training and their customs.

There can only be fifteen pure blooded Shinobi (five from each Family) that have total access to the Advance jutsu of the clan as well as their Ancient Pets. Others who are not of direct decent still have access to the more basic clan jutsu and items of the Ryushin, as well as a limited companionship with the island lizards. Both Direct and Indirect decedents must choose a Family to heir from, effecting their Fighting style, Elements, and Traits.

Description:
On a volcanic island in the land of Sato, the Ryushin clan live with a group of pointed eared type of human who have golden eyes and seem to acknowledge dragons as a form of deity or some form of power that abides their way of life. Few in this clan are born with a "Dragons Blood," which is what the clan calls the ability to access chakra. Those who are not born with this gift often work as farmers who work the volcanic soil of their land or move to the main lands in search of job and prosperity.

On that island, they are also several groups of mutated lizards, in which the Ryushin clan accept as more then just pets, but a part of their actual family. Their are three main groups in the clan, each focusing on a different style of fighting and partnering with a different lizard that they were raised with since they were born. The bonds between the Ryushin and their companion can rival that of their own family members at times.

Background:
There have been not trace documents that deal with the origins of the clan, most stories of their coming into being consists of myth and fantasy more then actual fact and reality. The most common of the origin stories is that of the dragons, the clan themselves descending from the mighty beasts themselves to the form they have today. As myth has it, dragons breathed life into the first Ryushin man that they had made by themselves, giving the man the gift of fire as well as their golden eyes and pointed ears. As myth has it, the decedents of those men who were created by the dragons is the Ryushin clan as it is today, and the lizards that they treat as family are the decedents of those dragons today.

While there has been no hard proof of the actual origin of the Ryushin and little is known of how they actually came to being, the fact remains the same that they are here and that they have proven themselves as well found warriors time and time again in times of war and chaos, as well as supplying a vast majority of Sato's agricultural crop today on one of the most fertile of islands found within the Land hidden in the Shroud. They have lives prosperous and happy lives in their clan, and often make trade routes with the main land and the port of Sato, making a good way of lives for themselves with agricultural trade and shinobi military expertise with those who have the dragons blood.

Those who have been gifted with the Dragons blood of this clan were said to be great shinobi, some legend saying they even formed pacts with the ancient beings to come to their clans aid when they are in times of need. The secrets of summoning have been passed upon the clans to who have been born with their blood, taught to only the few chosen kin. As long as they could remember, they have called the Island their own, even before the actual foundation of Satogakure. When they first came in contact with their Shinobi, they immediately saw the similarity between their jutsu compared to their dragons blood, regarding them along the same level of their own who have the Dragons Blood.

Satogakure has allowed them to remain in their home, as well as even join Satogakure land in an attempt to strengthen their own military might with the "dragons power" as the Ryushin describe it to them. In return for Satogakure protection and training for the children who bare the Dragons Blood in the Shinobi Academy, they provide agricultural goods and volcanic materials, as well as militia might when it is needed.

Special Characteristics:
The Ryushin clan are share many physical similarities with each other. All of them have pointed ears, and golden eyes with were said to be traits that were given to them by their dragon ancestor. Past physical appearance, each one of the family members have some quirk that set them apart from each other. The Ryushin-Kon are very whimsical, having a 'go with the flow' feel to them. The Ryushin-Heru are very emotional, often letting emotions make their depositions and rarely focus on logic. The Ryushin-Hada are very stern, often seeming cold and emotionless to others who study them. While all of them are different in these ways, they all see each other as family to one another.

Strengths:
[+] Long Ranged Accuracy (Ryushin-Kon)
[+] High Chakra Pool (Ryushin-Heru)
[+] High Speed (Ryushin-Hada)
[+] Blade Proficency

Shortcomings:
[-] Low Endurance (Ryushin-Kon)
[-] Low Strength (Ryushin-Heru)
[-] Low Chakra Pools (Ryushin-Hada)
[-] High Sensitivity (Increases vulnerability to Blind, Deft, and Nauseated effects)

Before anyone replies to this saying "Dragons aren't allowed as pets" here are 2 arguements I will provide to defend myself with that statement to make this clan plausable.

1: Flying Dragon (http://animals.howstuffworks.com/reptiles/flying-dragon-info.htm) That is a NATURAL animal, and the base animal for my clan's "Dragons". Based on the rules of the game, I am allowed to have a mutated form of animal for pets, and since the main pet will be a mutated form of this, there is nothing that isn't allowed.

2: Never once did I say that they were doing to be real dragons. The only connection this clan has to "dragons" in any way is the summoning pact that I will be making for it later when I am no longer brain dead, and as I know of, there is no rules against "NO Summoning Dragons!" lol

That is all ^^

Whoa calm down pal no one has said anything yet about that, well you did an awesome job just make sure your strengths and shortcomings are balanced as well as going along with your type of style otherwise you've done a good job. If you want you can have my clan as relations whether they be friends or enemies seeing how we both have a thing for the creatures in this world from all sides of the world.

@Itamimaru: Haha xD I didn't mean to sound mad or anything when I posted that. I just know there was going to be SOMEBODY who would post "YOU CAN'T HAVE DRAGON PETS!!!" if I didn't post an argument before hand. I didn't mean anything against you, just people who assume that everyone on this clan is going to have "Dragons". I'm making their clan pets right now, so when they get accepted, they can go right up without delay.

And sure, may I see a link to your clan? I would like to see who I am allied with or enemies with if that case may be, lol xD

Itamimaru

Yeah that's why I just said animals of all kingdoms that's how I avoided that trouble but you found a way better good on yah.
Sure here's the clan (http://www.ninja-rpg.net/forums/showthread.php?t=51412) and if get a good relation between our clans your clansmen can visit in their village (http://www.ninja-rpg.net/forums/showthread.php?52029-Furui-Village-Open-only-to-clansmen), oh and you should make a place for your clan too it makes it awesome but so far you've done a great job.

Fang
31-08-2011, 02:27
Ya, that "create a place for the clansmen" is after the clan is accepted xD

right now, my head feels like it is about to explode, so I rather not to anymore work related on this clan until after it is accepted and ready to begin the real advancements, like the Island where they call home as well as their own island village on that area of land. And then there are also the pets, jutsu, and weapons, I've got a while before I've "finished" with the Ryushin clan, lol

But it will be worth is x3

I don't think you can be resistant to poisons the way you are describing it, especially if its for a clan strength.

That needs to be changed some what so it doesn't sound you are degrading the effects of poisons.

Itamimaru
31-08-2011, 02:56
Doesn't that just mean they might usually have a strength in poison I thought those were allowed just no post decreasing affects?

Doesn't that just mean they might usually have a strength in poison I thought those were allowed just no post decreasing affects?

Not sure, most poison resistant strengths I've seen have been rejected. Any resistance is usually only allowed to the users own poisons and not other's poisons.

Fang
31-08-2011, 15:54
I put "Poison Resistance" with no post modifications for the same reason I put no set modifications on everything else. It's player choices, so they could have "Good Poison Resistence (-2 posts)" or "Above Average Poison Resistenct (-1 post)"

I don't want to force everything onto the people who join this clan, but if you want, I can change it to a set resistance that is the "average" for the clan? Again, I did it because I didn't want to much control taken from the player's choice.

~Edit~
Also: when did they change that? As long as I have been here and even the few months I have been in passive mode, Poison Resistence and Weakness have both been acceptible Physical strengths and physical weaknesses...?

o.o unless they changed that, in which I would like to see a point in which they did.

Kambei Shimata

Since when? You can never reduce the poison duration with a poison strength. Like I said, its always been rejected. Can you link me where someone has a strength like that?

Fang
31-08-2011, 23:36
xD I found one from a YEAR ago! *laughs*
I don't see why though, it's easily spoken that people with Higher metabolisms burn off poisons faster then normal, I don't see why it shouldn't be allowed... I know Poison Weakness is a easy "I'm lazy, so I'll make it Poison weakness" thing, but is it really THAT bad to have a higher metabolism to burn off poisons faster? I mean, it isn't unheard of and easily explained I think at least.

Well that was then, this is now. And you can't compare real life stuff to tnf, especially since things we do don't happen in real life and some things in real life can be over powering in tnf. Like I said, I've seen it get rejected countless times this year alone. You can get another opinion from another mod if you want but post reduction for poisons is the same as doing it for genjutsu for me. The answer is no.

Fang
31-08-2011, 23:46
The difference between Genjutsu and Poison though, is Poison is not restricted to a fighting style anymore. It USED to be an element, but now anyone can apply for it now (and with all the x2 poison lengths, I don't see why more people don't) while genjutsu was a fighting type that is serverly weak compared to the others. The reasons why they changed "You cannot have genjutsu resistance as a mental strength anymore" was 2 reasons: 1 they don't have length anymore, and 2 they were trying to improve the fighting style.

Could I ask you to do the same for me? Post a link that is recent that has a Mod saying "No you cannot have this" other then this thread? I haven't seen an argument for either side other then yours and only on this Clan out of all the profiles I have looked at from here since a year ago, from Genin to Jounin ranked applicants. o.o

If you don't want me to say that you can't do this or whatever, don't put up stuff that should be common sense. And no, not anyone can get poisons, you need mod permission now days for it. If you keep getting told you can't do something then you aren't using common sense.

I'll tell you this, most things are mod discretion but this is a rule you should pay attention to that I go by. Don't try to get a strength that reduces something that normally takes a slot to use like the poisons. Why should you be able to reduce something for free when someone needs to pay a slot for it. There, thats the best explanation I can think of without having to dig up links.

This. Like I said, you can get another opinion but that is my stand on this.

Fang

:P I don't consider one mod being told over and over again, lol
and all the Mods I PM either say they are Bias about a dragon based clan or they are TNR Mods, or they don't work on Characters or Clans xD lol I will ask what others think when I get a chance to

Sorry for the late reply, i was trying to find something to replace the "Forbidden Strength" with, finally found something that makes decent sense, though I've never seen something like it used before, so I don't know your guy's Reaction to it.

It has come to my attention that I may have been too quick to deny the poison strength. Its being talked over with the mods/helpers and you can have that as a strength but like you, I don't know everything that is or isn't allowed. I wasn't the first to make this mistake since thats why I thought it wasn't allowed but for now we are talking over the limits of said strength. You may put it back like you had it and when its been confirmed either me or one of the mods/helpers will let you know of the limits of the poison strength.

Thank you for your time/patience.

Alright, sorry for putting you though a tough time like that, I am glad we are coming to understand each other.
I was always under the impression that -1 Post was Good (+2) and -2 Posts was Great (+4) and there is absolutly no way to lower the number of posts of a poison by less then 2, and the minimul a poisons length could be reduced to is 1 post. I think that would be an appropreate advanment alone the "Poison resistence" thing, but I will be changing it back now

^^; Again, sorry about sounding like having an attitude, I honestly didn't mean it, to me it seemed like a friendly debate until one of my friends was like "isn't that a little... uncalled for?" and when I re-looked at it, it did seem a little mean. D: Sorry for that...

xD doubted this would get accepted, but could someone move this to WIP or delete it? (I have all the data saved anyway)
I'll be waiting to refine this until after the chunin exams at the very least, and when Xerato turns chunin is things go correctly.
