She didn't have time for the normal life of a child, nor the relations that one would have normally. All her time was spent studying the dragons text and the ancient ways of her ancestral duty. She longed for a normal life, and often ran away from the family, only to be tracked down and brought back to her chained life. In time, she grew accustom to such things, finally taking her role in and accepting that she was to be the clans next leader, and when the previous leader passed away and she took charge, she swore that no others would be stripped from their families and trained as she was just just to make a new clan mother, forbidding the act to completely isolate the next 'mother' and allowing her heir to have the life she was forbidden to have during her training. She has a soft spot for younger children, often overlooking minor things that they may do, and even having a higher tolerance for them in most cases. # of RPC Members Allowed: Infident; Limitations (See Below)
While the Ryushin clan is not a relatively small clan, only those born with the "Dragons Blood" are considered possible candidates for the training of Shinobi. While there are normally no more then five of a clan family (fifteen in total) who actually have the 'dragons blood', recent exposure to the outside world has given an increase to the actual number born with the gift. Although, those who are born outside the clan normally are unable to summon the ancient dragons or form a close relation with the clans lizards, they do have access to their training and their customs.
There can only be fifteen pure blooded Shinobi (five from each Family) that have total access to the Advance jutsu of the clan as well as their Ancient Pets. Others who are not of direct decent still have access to the more basic clan jutsu and items of the Ryushin, as well as a limited companionship with the island lizards. Both Direct and Indirect decedents must choose a Family to heir from, effecting their Fighting style, Elements, and Traits.
Description:
On a volcanic island in the land of Sato, the Ryushin clan live with a group of pointed eared type of human who have golden eyes and seem to acknowledge dragons as a form of deity or some form of power that abides their way of life. Few in this clan are born with a "Dragons Blood," which is what the clan calls the ability to access chakra. Those who are not born with this gift often work as farmers who work the volcanic soil of their land or move to the main lands in search of job and prosperity.
On that island, they are also several groups of mutated lizards, in which the Ryushin clan accept as more then just pets, but a part of their actual family. Their are three main groups in the clan, each focusing on a different style of fighting and partnering with a different lizard that they were raised with since they were born. The bonds between the Ryushin and their companion can rival that of their own family members at times.
Background:
There have been not trace documents that deal with the origins of the clan, most stories of their coming into being consists of myth and fantasy more then actual fact and reality. The most common of the origin stories is that of the dragons, the clan themselves descending from the mighty beasts themselves to the form they have today. As myth has it, dragons breathed life into the first Ryushin man that they had made by themselves, giving the man the gift of fire as well as their golden eyes and pointed ears. As myth has it, the decedents of those men who were created by the dragons is the Ryushin clan as it is today, and the lizards that they treat as family are the decedents of those dragons today.
While there has been no hard proof of the actual origin of the Ryushin and little is known of how they actually came to being, the fact remains the same that they are here and that they have proven themselves as well found warriors time and time again in times of war and chaos, as well as supplying a vast majority of Sato's agricultural crop today on one of the most fertile of islands found within the Land hidden in the Shroud. They have lives prosperous and happy lives in their clan, and often make trade routes with the main land and the port of Sato, making a good way of lives for themselves with agricultural trade and shinobi military expertise with those who have the dragons blood.
Those who have been gifted with the Dragons blood of this clan were said to be great shinobi, some legend saying they even formed pacts with the ancient beings to come to their clans aid when they are in times of need. The secrets of summoning have been passed upon the clans to who have been born with their blood, taught to only the few chosen kin. As long as they could remember, they have called the Island their own, even before the actual foundation of Satogakure. When they first came in contact with their Shinobi, they immediately saw the similarity between their jutsu compared to their dragons blood, regarding them along the same level of their own who have the Dragons Blood.
Satogakure has allowed them to remain in their home, as well as even join Satogakure land in an attempt to strengthen their own military might with the "dragons power" as the Ryushin describe it to them. In return for Satogakure protection and training for the children who bare the Dragons Blood in the Shinobi Academy, they provide agricultural goods and volcanic materials, as well as militia might when it is needed.
