Details: An attack has been launched on your clan's dojo and the assailants have not been captured. The police have let you run the investigation as long as your emotions don't get in the way. These people need to be brought to the appropriate authorities.

Objectives:
-Find out what you can
-track down each person
-find the leader
-do what you can to turn them in
-Don't kill any of them
-Get closure for what has happened

I only skipped you because the first posts was just me and him meeting up. Then we needed to actually start. Idk what you would of npced since we were at the village doing nothing but meeting in the first post.

RPC's were at the scene of the crime when it happened. I didn't do anything regarding the event off screen except have whatever remained of my own surviving NPC's (and Kokoro) leave after everyone else's RPC's left the thread. I gave Kambei permission to have Jin receive all the information Kenji and Kokoro have, which he can review by reading the thread. Anything Kokoro reacted to is what she would know, obviously, but if you want to pick her brain for specific information, you will need to request her as an NPC.

Kambei designed this mission, and Jin is leading it. If he's not sharing information with Katsuo, it's a problem between the two of you.

Well the sketches were based on only the people that Kenji and Kokoro saw directly. Though I don't want to be metagaming if it will seem that way. Just wanted to know if I can justify Jin recognizing him or not. If not, I'll just work around it. Asking you as an npc mod.

The only reason I haven't been posting regularly is to give him a chance to post so whatever action you think is necessary, Deca. I at least kinda helped him out by attempting to get him out of the bind he was in. Not sure if that bought him some time that he would need to post in the next round or not.

I'll be posting again for this mission soon. It's been about 10 days since Hiro's logged in. If one of you gets to me before I do and requests that I don't post yet, that's fine, otherwise a response will be up in a few hours and I'll resume responding to Kambei within about 48 hours of his posts. I just won't focus on what Katsuo is doing, which is technically nothing at the moment.

I'm not in any hurry, but I hate to see a thread stalled so badly. I won't force it though, Kambei, since it leaves Jin without backup, so if you'd rather wait for Hiro to be active again that's fine with me.

I won't ask you to edit since Jin has rank advantage and can probably hear through the stealth techniques of a C ranked character (and I'm already working on my reply which may be posted before you're even online again because I'm bored), but in the future, I suggest paying a little more attention. I don't describe the terrain just because it's fun.

In case it's my fault and I wasn't clear, though, Jin's pretty much standing on sleek ice flooring. There is no snow; at least nothing that will crunch or grip.

While a jutsu unique to the rp, the wording should imply it's at least a B rank technique, since I based it on one. It's a lot more than that C rank can handle, especially one coming from a tai spec with terrible chakra control. Not that shooting a stream of water at him would have done much anyway even if it were stronger. I'm not seeing how it could. If you were attempting to cool Traci down, even if that may have worked, it would be too little too late coming from Katsuo. At least his shield would protect him, though. Well, to an extent relative to its size.

Rather then climbing the staircase ('cause it would be impossible unless you're like a thousand feet tall) everyone would have got there via a twisting path that connects the base of the mountain to the particular stair they're on now. Is it making sense now?

So, you tell me.

You tracked down the leader's "generals"; lost 2 because they died, but have the other 2 in custody.

You found the leader, but while you were unable to arrest her, you were offered (though refused) a method of summoning her at your will.

You did what you could I guess to turn everyone in.

I won't take points away from killing Junior since it was done out of necessity.

I don't know if you guys have found closure or not, though.

The only thing that wasn't touched on was tracking everyone down, but as I was trying to imply with Gracia, that's going to be next to impossible. Even with Jin's sketches, here's a piece from the original thread this was all based on:

So honestly, your rpc's can walk away any time. This mission seems more like something they chose to do, rather than something that was required of them. I didn't design it to have any particular start or finish. It's over when you guys want it to be over. I'm rping based on the choices you make. The story and the criminals already exist. I don't really have anything laid out for you to do. It's basically been, if there's someone or something you're looking for, I'll create clues on how to find them/it. I didn't have any tasks in store, though.

Go for it, but the point I'm trying to get across is that no one knows who they are. Just a bunch of misguided kids who said "yes" when asked if they wanted to go cause some trouble. They were never meant to have faces or personalities. They were just there to get their ass's kicked.

I'd say its done. Even if Jin found Cass again, he would be in no condition to fight her in his current exhausted and hurt condition. As for closure, I was going up to it in a post or two after deciding whether or not to chase the rest of the kids but it probably wouldn't be worth it. He may not of caught the leader but at least they got something. I'll probably post something like that since this was more of a mission for Jin than an actual do this do that mission. More for plot purposes than anything.

But anyway, you guys worked hard, and wow, this mission was a lot longer than I expected it to be. Sorry if it wasn't all you hoped it would be, but thanks for sticking to it and keeping up a good pace. I wanted to give you guys a tad more action, but with the length it already was, I didn't want to make it drag, so hopefully it wasn't too unfulfilling.

Regardless, I enjoyed doing this mission, and you both had some pretty epic moments. The requirements may not have been met to perfection, but I'm pleased to still consider the mission successful.
