OOC: if I am skipping someone sorry about that, but had a sudden sorta need to write a post. ^^

    IC:

The unconscious boy would probably have avoided the sleep rolling Yukari if he were awake, but as it was there was not chance for the kid to avoid Yukari at any chance, EJ or no. So the woman was sleeping on top the small unconscious boy. Somehow this does not seem that comfortable to the rpcer but meh... what can ye say. Thoughts of Kawarimi with the bed or just the futon, came into the rpers mind, but since the boy was unconscious there was just no way he could pull that off without being hax. So instead the kid just turned his head sideways so he could keep breathing and not be suffocated by Yukari's bewbs.

Exit... the mind... body lies here I guess?

In a rather odd blaze of movement, Yuki blurred from where she was, slammed the door shut, and then nailed it into it's frame with several kunai stabbed through the door. And then she blurred into a corner, pulled out a blanket from nowhere, curled up, and sat there, watching. Or rather, mentally trying not to be pulled away. Her bunshin disappeared, but her henge remained, leaving her set as that strange figure and hidden by the blanket, before she succumbed to the pulls of the Cheshire cat. Not Alice, but the Cat. Of course.

For whatever reason, sleep pulled heavily on Shin's mind as he slumped in the corner he was previously standing in. Normally there'd be some concern about safety, especially considering the ease with which even he had managed to enter the grounds.
The pull wonderland was enforcing upon his mind was too much to resist, however, as his consciousness was swiftly `fwooshed` off to wonderland.

Whatever a fwoosh was supposed to be.

Quinn walked in on an odd scene; everyone was down and asleep or unconscious and decided that snagging a wallet or two would be a good idea. Halfway upon his first victim Quinn realised exactly what was going on here, though how was beyond him, and left the wallets on the people. For some reason this sleep was just not taking him so the boy waddled around the mansion for a bit and located a bed, laying down he did his best to get to sleep, Giant doing the same at the end of his bed. Soon the two were out and the adventure could begin.

For unknown and creepy reason, Ishi felt something hit his head, or maybe its the door banging on his head when it sprang open. Who knows?

Ishi's body would lay motionless in front of the door, his position, similar to that of a child sleeping soundly. How cute.

Deep inside however, five personalities would found themselves sucked inside a new realm.

Dance, dance, dance, all the way home. She had been so busy dancing, in fact, that she had completely failed to notice that she had waltzed off with the bag that she had been given for the purposes of that funny little examination that the ninja people had for their healers. With her kitsune hoodie on and brightly glowing blue eyes, as well as her amazing dancing skills and quietly humming voice, Chiharu was impossible to mistake for anyone else. For that reason, she had been allowed onto the compound without being interrogated, which was a particularly good thing, as her favourite doll, Hourai, was swinging back and forth inside her hood, all decked out for lasery death and all. Not, of course, that she would have used it on anyone, but it was good on a matter of principle anyway.

Once inside, she was greeted by Altai and Baikal, two of the clan's guardian moon bears. The older of the two bears stood on it's hind legs before her, towering over the diminutive witch with it's paws raised, a low growl escaping it, a sound that Chiharu was well familiar with. Grinning, Chiharu smoothly held up her left palm, allowing a brief flow of mana to reveal the Lune seal marked there. "Heya Altai-chan, Baikal-kun~" she offered in greeting to the bears, patting Altai's head affectionately before giving Baikal a hug. She was a little surprised that Ural or the twins hadn't come out to say Hi, but supposed it was probably nap time for them anyway.

At the sight of a shadow behind her, Chiharu's hand whipped around to bop Sayan on the noise, allowing the bear a solid warning that her arms were not chewtoys. "And hello to you too, Sayan-kun. Glad you're still as playful as ever. Heeey, it's awfully quiet, is anyone home?" she queried. Baikal grunted, a very non-committal gesture for a bear, before padding over to go back to what he had been doing before - napping in the shade of a tree, while keeping a watchful eye over the sleeping cubs. Sayan went for another try at her arm, but it was no more succesful than the first one, as Chiharu quickly clambered up onto the bear's back.

"I believe they're in a gathering of some sort. Most of the elders went into the building with the big roof," Altai explained as Chiharu continued to wrestle with Sayan. Though the bear put up a fair effort, Chiharu was well familiar with his antics and stayed out of the reach of his jaws. "Thanks, Altai-chan~ Sayan-kun! Behave, or I'll put you back in your cage! Who let you out without someone to keep an eye on you, anyway? Not that I mind, but it doesn't happen very often, y'know, and there's a good reason for that." For her efforts, Chiharu got to re-enact a rodeo as the bear attempted to buck her off. "FAT CHANCE, SAYAN! I'ma win this time, just like last time!"

Flap, flap, flap, all the way home. Yuichi's wings carried him past the entrance and through the air, where few humans were able to live. But, Yuichi wasn't a human right now, was he? Nay, he was a crow feathered in shades of lustrous black, his wings glistening as he road the winds of Nagare. Out of the corner of his eye - being such detailed and attentive vision - Yuichi spotted somebody he hadn't seen before, dancing in some sort of ritualistic dance while wearing a kitsune hoody. She was clearly suspicious, moving into the Lune mansion without a single person questioning her... It was clear her dancing was some sort of Genjutsu or mind-manipulation technique!

Yuichi picked up the speed and landed within the confines of the bears' room, watching the mystery woman intently through his glowing~red eyes from a safe vantage point. Through them, he could read the words of everything that she said, as he could read any language he understood with his eyes and didn't need to hear a word. She was speaking with the bears, of all things... But... why? There had to be a reason, unless... Oh no! It's worse than I thought... She's mind-controlling the little cubs, of all things, and asking who's here before making her move...! She's even threatening to cage them... That monster!! He mumbled, grinding his beak in anguish.

"That's enough," Yuichi called out in common in a somewhat squawky (but oddly serious) voice, his bright red eyes glowing with a crimson fury. She would pay for attacking poor Sayan. "I will destroy you, intruder! Prepare yourself!" With a mighty gust of wind, the brave crow dived and charged, attempting to tackle her off with all his momentum and force. He would save the bear! He would be a hero! All he needed was this one push, and... and it might've worked, too, if poor Yuichi hadn't forgotten the size difference. Mr. Crow~san merely headbutted Chiharu's shoulder and dropped to the floor, grumbling in pain as he was likely trampled underfoot by bear and girl.

And there he lay, defeated and trampled. He was surely a goner, squawking and twitching in death-throbs; poor crow~san only had a few more minutes of life in him... or so the con-artist would have her believe. He would make his move soon, but for now... he would feign injury. Yes, that's it. This was his plan all along! Tackling somebody over five times your size! Ha! What kind of fool would Yuichi be to try that! Haha... ha... ha.....

Poor Yui~kun decided then and there that crow-form would only be for scouting then-on.

A strange, unfamiliar voice came out of nowhere... and Sayan took that moment of distraction to strike! With a growl that sounded strangely like laughter, the bear bucked again, tossing the young witch from his back to the grass. From thin air, a blur of movement zipped through her sight before slamming into the back of the bear she had just been wrestling. Was that... a crow? Unable to help herself, Chiharu burst into a fit of giggles of her own. A crow had just attacked a bear, by itself, without any back up or anything. That was one brave little bird, but, unfortunately, it seemed like it would probably be dazed from the collision. Scrambling to her feet, she grabbed Sayan by the ear and pulled before he managed to take a bite out of his attacker.

"That's enough, Sayan-kun. It's just a stupid bird," she chided, before taking a moment to look around to see where that voice had come from. As far as she could tell, there wasn't anyone close enough that could have said it. That was strange. "Hey, Altai-chan, did you see who was calling out there? They must be a ninja or something, I can't see them at all. Or this intruder they were talking about."

The crow caught himself after his tackle-charge ended up striking the wrong target: Sayan. Now, Yuichi wasn't too familiar with the moon bears of the Clan, being that he spent the majority of his time with his father in Sato, but he had heard more than enough about Sayan's man-eating tendencies from his relatives. With speeds exceeding even most Chuunin, Yuichi gently landed on Sayan's head while staring intently at the intruder.

"Stupid bird? Where?" The crow mindlessly asked, lifting off Sayan's head as the bear clawed at its skull and headbutted the floor in an attempt to swat the bird down. Yuichi landed in front of Chiharu as the bear toppled over, twitching his head and hopping curiously on his feet, studying her carefully. It was, all in all, the perfect rendition of a normal crow... only it wasn't normal, as evident by its speech. Something was off about her, though; she didn't seem evil...

"Wait a minute, what do you mean you can't see the intruder? You are the intruder and a ninja," He stated as if fact, his feathers ruffling in objection. Was she an enemy, or was he just being overly paranoid again? "I just caught you attacking Sayan~chan and threatening to cage them. Monster! Prove to me you aren't mind-controlling everybody, if you're truly innocent of these charges," The bird spoke, a calculating gleam in his eye. He would expose the devious woman for what she truly was!

Blinking in surprise, Chiharu watched as the bird moved in an altogether too fast manner to be an ordinary bird before briefly struggling with Sayan in a manner that was little more successful than her own had been. That was all well and fine, Chiharu had heard that their clan had some kind of nifty ninja scout birds anyway, or something like that. She wasn't sure entirely, having never taken the interests in birds that she had in bears. Moreover, it could talk, which was weird. "Ehhh? Since when did birds talk? And I'm not a Ninja, I'm a Witch, and my family lives here, Karasu-chan." Something else surprised Chiharu, and as she looked back on the ground behind her, she let out a shocked sigh of dismay. That stupid bird startling her had made her fall right on Hourai, and the poor thing's arms had been torn right off by the impact, as well as bending the neck at an unnatural angle. No wonder her neck was killing her. It certainly hadn't been from that short of a fall.

"Stupid bird! You killed Hourai-chan! I hate you!" Kicking her foot out at the bird in an attempt to scare it off, she knelt down beside her fallen comrade. Behind her, though she couldn't see it, Altai swatted Sayan for attempting to eat her yet again. Instead, she was fixated on the loss of her dear friend. Oh, certainly, Hourai hadn't actually been alive, but that made no difference whatsoever to the blue-eyed Lune as a single tear rolled down her face. Chiharu had spent countless hours working on both the design and construction of that doll, and had spent countless more with nothing more than Hourai's company. The red crystal eyed puppet was likely her closest companion, and it's loss was heartbreaking.

... No. It's loss was unacceptable. She would have to fix it, but how? Her workshop was half the world away, and Hourai couldn't wait that long for repairs. Nor was she willing to allow her friend to suffer through that journey while in pieces like this. That would be too cruel by fair. No. She was a Witch, and a healer now as well. She would find some way to restore her friend to her previous state, one way or another, and would not accept 'No' for answer. It would happen, and it would happen now, damnit. Kneeling beside her friend, Chiharu held out her hands in front of her, hovering them overtop her doll, she set to work.

Closing her eyes to tune out the horrible sight before her, she began visualizing her friend as it should have been, with all of the parts in their right places, fitted together with smooth and superb craftsmanship. She visualized the floating, airy nature of her friend's movements, and the lazily dainty way that it carried itself. In her minds eye, she saw the minute flaws, that she had only ever been aware of after it had been completed, that held it back, limiting it's potential and slowing it's movements. She imagined the way it felt to allow power to flow through it, causing her eyes to shine with a brilliant light. Remembering the time they had shared, from tentatively poking her head out with the strange frog samurai guy, to it's recent efforts to save her during the medical examinations.

Drawing on her thoughts, this knowledge, these memories, she slowly breathed out, and with her breath allowed a gentle puff of mana to flow through her hands. Spreading through the grass at her knees, a simple, perfect circle writ in silvery blue began to for, and she began to direct her energies with her thoughts. Though she had no idea how she would do so, Chiharu only knew that she would somehow fix her friend. As a healer, as a witch, and as Hourai's legal guardian (the poor thing was like a child to her, after all) she had a responsibility to make sure that happened. With her pride at stake, there was simply no alternative.

    Spoiler!

"I'm not just any bird, Mahou~chan. I'm a full-fledged and still growing Yatagarasu," Yuichi clarified, his eyes locking firmly on Chiharu's fallen puppet. Yuichi couldn't quite make out what it was, but he had seen the thing following Chiharu from outside. Was it okay, or...? Yikes! Yuichi knew that stare anywhere. He had half a mind to avoid and evade, but he already knew what happened. It was his fault, wasn't it? He wouldn't move, nor would he budge in the slightest. He would take the kick, realizing it was done out of compassion - he wouldn't cheap his way out of somebody else's genuine feelings.

The little bird was kicked clean into the air, catching itself rather quickly. It hurt, but altogether wasn't too bad - be it through merit of his own sturdiness or her lack of force, he didn't know. Still, he needed to make up for it somehow, but... What could he do? The red-eyed raven remembered something he heard a long time ago, from his father - a technique that the Lune used to better their speechcraft... Hanashi. If he could just channel it, maybe he could make things a bit better. Yeah, yeah, call Yuichi a softie if you want, but he didn't really care so much. A tear was shed, of all things - he couldn't ignore genuine feelings this strong, potential intruder or fellow kinsmen alike.

Focusing his chakra through his voice, Karasu~chan attempted to appease her. "I'm sorry, Mahou~chan. I didn't mean for your friend to get hurt." Starting with a simple phrase, perhaps she would be more inclined to believe him? "I know how to help Hourai~chan," He offered as he flew close, cleanly placing himself alongside the fallen doll. He assembled each piece and even the smallest of screws, bringing them together rather nicely. Likewise, his voice would perhaps be a bit more believable than she might've noticed as he spoke. "She'll be back at 100% in no-time!"

The crow cawed, faint trails of mist slipping from its body as Yuichi regained his human form - his true human form. His green hair was only matched by his now minty~green eyes. "Uhm, don't tell anybody that I can do that, okay~? They'll probably call you crazy anyway, but it's supposed to be a secret." Chiharu would've noticed Yuichi in this form for sure, from the one time they met when she was a tike - Yuichi was a rather unmistakable individual, as was Chiharu, now that he put some thought process behind it. "Chiharu~chan, is it? I'm Yuichi, if you remember. You've grown. How's that old bat 'Kaze doing?" It had been a few years now, right? "Ah, but first..."

"She's a puppet, right~? My sister also likes puppets, maybe you've met her before." Yuichi stated, attempting to soothe any concerns. "She lives here, too, so fixing Hourai~chan up will be quick and easy. Trust me." He offered, which was the truth. Yuriye lived right in the compound, and was very keen with her dolls - she would have Hourai up and running again in a heart-beat, but... It seemed Chiharu had another idea, and was attempting to perform a technique of some sort. "-Kweh, well, then... If you need my help for anything, let me know."

Yuichi, done, stood back and gave her space to focus, stretching as he got used to his human form once more. Being a crow for so long was like reversing all the letters around on your keyboard once you went back to being human. It took him a while to readjust, as he wasn't quite used to the shifts just yet.

"Yeah, right. Yatagarasu have three legs. You're just a normal Karasu, stupid bird," Chiharu corrected as her foot lashed out... and did something it usually didn't. It hit. And the crow was still there. That was thoroughly different from The Plan, though she wasn't really sure what the plan was. She hadn't wanted for anyone to get hurt, just for the crow to leave her and her friend alone. She had, it seemed, proceeded to get the opposite result, as the crow - still babbling about something - proceeded to attempt to steal away Hourai-chan's body parts. Stupid bird. They might have shared a love of shiny things, but she wasn't going to let it take her friend away. Some things couldn't be left alone.

"Shoo, shoo! No-one touches Hourai but me," she whined, flailing her arms in the bird's general direction like a petulant child. Of course, this time she was far enough away that she wouldn't hit it, but maybe it would scare it off this time. It seemed that she was indeed successful, as the crow vanished back to the netherworld that it had come from in a whisp of smoke. She'd always figured crows were evil, but now she had proof that they came straight from hell, or somewhere similar. In the crow's place was... some green haired guy, or something, with equally green eyes. Blinking thoughtfully for a moment, Chiharu poked a finger out to his forehead, watching for the reaction. "... Yuichi-kun? Kaa-san's good, she's been really busy. Waait, were you the intruder that stupid crow was talking about? I didn't see you come in. I guess you really aaare a ninja. Anyway, I have to fix Hourai, so you'll have to excuse me."

Proceeding as she had before, Chiharu continued her efforts at repair, quietly pondering to herself how she was to handle this. Raw mana probably wouldn't do the trick - oh, it could probably make Hourai move, but it wouldn't fix her. The fiery essence inside wouldn't do much good either. No, for something like this, she would have to draw upon the essence of nature, the fundamental power associated with the wood from which Hourai had been constructed. Gritting her teeth, she forced herself to take a deep, slow breath, forcing as much of her frustration out with it as she could. To form power of this variety, she would need a calm and steady mind. For Hourai's sake, she couldn't afford to allow her emotions to interfere with her concentration.

Slowly but surely, she began increasing the input of mana into her spell. The circle broadened to encompass a two foot area around the kneeling witch, and gradually filled in with knotted lines reminiscent of tangled and knotted vines. Chiharu drew her attention through her hands and downward into her puppet. The sense of mana flowing through Hourai was a rough one, meeting resistance at the solid components and breaks alike, but she gradually acclimatized herself to it, mentally noting where the damage had actually occurred. From there, she pressed her mana deeper, driving it into the earth at their feet. The initial layers were as resistant as her puppet had been, as she was passing through raw earth - an element to which she was not familiar - but she eventually reached what she was looking for. The seeds of life, a source that she could draw on for the time being until her experience reached a level where she could produce the desired effects from nothing but her own will.

"Up ya go... C'mon..." she murmured beneath her breath, as if her words would encourage the effects to take place more efficiently. It didn't, and she continued her quiet struggle to bring that force back up to the surface. Though it was hardly enough for her to call a significant effort, it was by far more stressful than it had to be. Chiharu sighed. She would have to continue to work on her proficiency at manipulating magic harder than she had in the past, if she was going to ever be able to call herself a real witch, like her teachers. With a low rumbling, the earth just below Hourai began to distort, though the effect was partially obscured by Chiharu's magical circle.

    Spoiler!

Karasu~chan would've shown a little leg, but the police would've been on him for impersonating Pedokyu, so he brushed off her objection. Besides, he already said he was in-training. The details of training a third leg, of course, were always a bit sketchy, but sometimes the details weren't needed... or publicly acceptable conversation starters. Either way, Chiharu's "The Plan" certainly didn't work, and Yuichi was now human once more. His true human form. This form was much like his transformations, requiring chakra and concentration same as any other form, but it was for the best that he faced his family like he once was. It was more poetic this way, was it not?

"I'd imagine, what with her hair stylist career. I heard she just recently invented a permanent hair dye of some sort. It's all the rage, recently, though, according to mother... She ran out from the house to go catch her appointment, last time I visited." He stated, scratching his chin as he recalled his mom's obsession with hair while Chiharu raved about the stupid crow. "Well, maybe he wasn't a stupid crow, and was just misunderstood... or trying to help clean things up." Staring at the scattered pieces of the puzzle, Yuichi found himself a bit irritated. He didn't know why. It certainly wasn't remorse so much as there being a mess scattered about, and the way she insisted on organizing the pieces was just madness and mayhem to his eyes. Why was its head slanted! 8mm to the right and it would've been somewhat acceptable, but it was completely imbalanced and leaning towards one side...! Why didn't she let him finish putting it together! It was such a mess, and he would've put it in the most perfect of orders...

Still, despite his growing OCD, Yuichi was very much glad he met Amekaze's daughter once more. His mind trailed off to thoughts reminiscent of the mission he went on with her, and the training he received. He could still taste that high-quality, high-grade mint sake rolling on his tongue like ecstasy... and the nut soon realized he was drooling. Wiping mouth from his daze, Yuichi flicked out some Delicious mint candy and popped one, then tossed one over to her if she was willing to take it. This batch of mint was moon shaped and everything! Like nicotine to Yuichi's addiction, he jittered his nerves down, even if the unsavory mess sprawled throughout the floor was still eating at the back of his head. Her attempts at fixing the doll only made it worse, the rumbling tipping the cursed dolls head another 3.2mm's to the side... curse his super eyesight for being so detailed...!

Yuichi found himself forming the handseal for Shunshin. "Well, it was nice seeing you, Chiharu~chan. I've got to go for now. If you need help with a doll, just visit Yuriye on the eastern buildings and tell her Onii~san said 'because yes.' Good luck, and take care of yourself. Sayan, Altai, and the rest of you, too. Look after Onee~chan, will you?" And with that, Yuichi was gone in a wisp of vapour. He hated to leave, but he had something else he needed to do before he snapped over trivial details - or rather, someone he needed to find... when the RPer got better and less busy, anyway.

Amaya and her friend Ayame would soon arrive at the Lune compound, sometime after disembarking the ferry and taking another transport over to Nagare, but instead of going in Nagare itself, they went to the Lune compound. It had been quite a ride, the journey taking a relatively long time since neither person knew shunshin.

"Oh wow," Amaya said as she took in the view of the mansion. It was immense and very beautiful.

"This is where all Lune live?" she asked incredulously.

Again sorry for long absence, work study and social events seem to prevent me from being active much at this time. I will post and imediatly exit. Ayame would show the girl to the entrance of the compound. She would let the girl stare at the scenery.

"Naw, the Lune are scattered all over seichi. When it is important I guess we gather here."

The girl said with a shrug. She really did not want to go in, as she feared her uncle Akito would likely tease her mecilessly.

"Well all you really need to do is walk up to the front gate and ask the guards to speak to Akito Lune, and someone will come to speak to you I am sure."

    She said sounding figety.

"I have to go now, see ya later, bye bye."

Heading towards the Kage mansion to hand in her mission scroll.

    (Exit)

    OOC: it's cool.

"Thanks Ayame, see you later," the girl would wave at her new friend. It was time to meet the majority of the Lune family then.

Amaya walked up to the gates and presented herself.

"Hello, I'm Yamasaki, Amaya. I wish to see... ummm... one of the more... important... Lune... please."

Gah... what was the name again? I can't believe I forgot.

    Spoiler!

Solana was on a stroll that fine evening, a wide grin across her face as she cheerfully twisted and twirled in the garden. She was one with the flora and fauna, and made sure its beauty was kept in tip-top shape. However, this evening was a bit different than most. A guest had appeared, and was asking around looking awful confused... and this woman was brought about by none other than Ayame, no less! Must be a friend of the family, she thought.

The servants were currently busy watering the garden, as per her request, so she decided to see what the guest was interested in. Stifling a playful giggle, she approached behind her in a silent bounce as she tapped the back of her shoulder. "Welcome to the Lune Gardens." Happily she chimed, wobbling in anticipation on her feet... and then she stared darkly at the woman.

"You must be tired from your journey... come, I'll lead you to the resting chambers."

Almost as a threat, she grabbed at the woman's arm and literally whisked her away to an outdoor area. There, her demeanor changed to happy and upbeat once more as she danced and twirled. Solana called for a servant to bring them some pastries and tea - a miniature picnic, if you will. Only in the shade, with a crazy lady staring at you as you ate. Her eyes only seemed to widen eerily in anticipation.

Once she was settled, Solana would ask:

"So, what brings you to the Lune this fine evening? You're young, so it surely can't be business-related. Still, I'm so excited for company! Trust me, after today, you'll never want to leave. Hyahahahah! - Oh, pardon me. You may call me Solana. May I inquire as to what your name is, miss...?"

Amaya was patiently looking in over the gates when she thought she heard something behind her. But this she attributed to a passing breeze for how loud it was and so you can imagine her surprise when her shoulder was tapped.

"Eek!" she yelped as she shivered and turned around quickly. Her sudden surprise was quickly abated by the gorgeous woman now speaking to her. The flowing red hair reminded her of the sunsets back in Sato. Then it just as quickly turned to fear upon the womans abrupt change in demeanor.

"Ummm... thank you..." she said shyly before being suddenly dragged along into the compound which, I imagine it must've seemed like Amaya was waving around like a flag being pulled along by this strange woman.

She soon found herself seated in a garden clearing watching the woman's hair twist about with her body as she danced away. She found herself staring in awe at the woman and soon had the sudden feeling that this woman was also related to her somehow. Yet she seemed more strange than Ayame who she had met earlier. Soon the pastries and tea would arrive and she would thank the servant before hurriedly eating them as they were quite scrumptious.

    "Amaya. Yamasaki, Amaya.

Uh... you're really pretty. I've never been snuck up on before like that."
she said with one arm scratching behind her head. She placed it back in her lap and began speaking again.

"I'm here to find out something. Maybe you can help me?"

The feeling was there again. Like she was home, as at home here as in the ocean. Perhaps she just felt like everywhere was home, but that couldn't be it. After all, the same connecting feeling extended to this Lune woman as to Ayame.

"Thank you," Solana blushed, happily smiling and wincing just before shying to the side... and then, she started to tear up as droplets welled in her eyes. "That means so much to me! It's been so long since I've snapped a neck or bled them out to feed my garden, I was afraid I was getting rusty. I've still got the touch though, and I'm glad for it." Although she didn't directly say it, Solana used to be an assassin. She had long since given up those powers along with the status, but still retained a few... abilities.

"You remind me of my dimwitted son and his fool father. Not that you're foolish or dimwitted," Solana stated, a bit of yearning on her face. Though her words seemed harsh, her tone was soft and happy. Her shifting personalities would stop here. Although such times were exceptionally rare, she was serious and actually seemed level-headed. How long it lasted was anybody's guess. "They don't know where they belong or where they fit in, so they try to build their own path. Sometimes I envy them. I was on that same journey before I found myself here today. Now, I have my path, and my husband has finally found his. My son is still looking and searching, and I can see that you've just begun... but I see something else in you, young lady. You've come here searching. Let me help end that search."

Solana, if Amaya allowed it, would grasp at her hands and touch her palms. Tracing a finger over it, she stared intensely at her in the eyes. The Lune Lifeline worked most strongly through touch-contact with other members, and the eyes were the strongest medium of this trait. If Amaya possessed what Solana thought she possessed, something would happen. Solana's eyes shifted from vibrant red into shades of pure white, followed by a midnight black. Both were highly reminiscent of the moon, and seemed to reflect the viewer itself.

If Amaya saw a sign, Solana would know. She would stop, then look upon her with a smile.

"You're a Lune, my dear. This blood flows thicker than water. It connects us all in the Lifeline. You are as much a sister or daughter to me as my own son. Tell me, Amaya~chan, who's in you're family? Do you know your mother, or father? Perhaps a long-lost relative? It is good to ask yourself these questions. If you know your roots and beginnings, you will know who you are. If you know who you are, the rest will fall into place."

Amaya nodded and smiled as the red beautiful crazy woman talked. Something about blood, which Amaya was adverse to spilling too much of for she did not like to kill, and then about finding a path for yourself. That was something Amaya could relate to for she felt very lost at the moment. It wasn't everyday you found yourself the long lost relative of some long established clan. Perhaps she was even of royal lineage? No, that would just be taking the stereotype too far.

Amaya allowed Solana to reach out to her, not that she thought she had any choice in the matter. The touch and the gaze brought about a whole new world to her mind. Something shining, shimmering and splendid. As if she was taken wonder by wonder, over sideways and under. Staring into her eyes brought Amaya a new fantastic point of view. There was no one to tell her no, or where to go, or say she was only dreaming. It was such a dazzling place she never knew, and all too soon it would stop, and Amaya would be brought out of her trance like state.

I thought there was something funny about my connection with Ayame! she thought excitedly as she listened to Solana's words.

"I know my parents, but I don't think they themselves know of any connection with the Lune. I tried asking them but they couldn't, or didn't tell me anything."

As for who she was and where she was from, that was a confusing question for the moment. All her life Amaya had thought herself as a daughter of Sato, and now it turned out she had a much farther lineage than that.
