Appearance: Kira is anything but nondescript-the man dresses to be remembered, and even his normal features are remarkable. His eyes are green, but nothing that looks even distinctly natural. They have been compared to emeralds, with lights shining through them before, and indeed, it's not an inaccurate example. Kira's eyes are accentuated by his thin, pale face, and his blue-black hair that extends halfway down his back.

His outfit, however, is what most remember about the man. Kira wears clothing of a strange material, one that feels warm to the touch, and seems to pulse as if it were alive itself. The material has the same appearance as tendons, minus the skin-except it's in varying shades of black, purples, and dark greys.

Kira's boots rise to his mid-thigh, and starting at the knee, include black blade-like protrusions that gracefully slide backwards on his outer thigh, three per leg. Underneath the boots, he wears black pants of an identical material. Over his hips are a pair of tassets of the same material, that extend downward to the uppermost backwards facing protrusion.

Kira wears gloves very similar in appearance to his boots, with the same three backwards facing protrusions-his gloves, however, extend only to his elbows. His long sleeve, form-fitting shirt is of the same strange material, but has a red "Spade"� design on the chest. (like the playing card) On the back of this shirt is a black hood of the same material.

Background: Born Kane Liddell, this man's life has not been a pleasant one. He was born to a pair of adults with not dime to their names, and nothing to describe as adequate for raising a child. Kane was almost immediately abandoned, left under a tree for the elements or wildlife to finish off.

Thankfully, or perhaps not, Kane was found not by a wolf, nor slain by a cold night, but instead discovered by a young child. The child brought Kane home, and Kane was living in an orphanage the very next day.

It would be found several years later that something was...off about Kane. When the other children played, Kane sat alone by himself, mouthing words to a friend who wasn't there. Those in charge wrote it off as the eccentricities of a child-it wasn't thought of as strange until several year later, when Kane's behavior degraded. Kane consistently found himself in ill straights, sometimes lashing out violently for no reason, speaking to people who weren't there, referring to himself as the "Wee little man", and other things of a somewhat strange nature.

He had just one friend in his days at the orphanage-a girl named Kalua, several years his junior. He and Kalua were inseparable from the day they met; she was three, he was fifteen. It bewildered everyone around them, but Kane had at least ended his habit of speaking to nonexistent entities, and began instead speaking to Kalua as if she were his own age. He would take Kalua out with him on his outings, where he began experimenting with a mysterious force-chakra.

Unlike other ninja, Kane had always been unable to manipulate elemental chakra; there was no particular reason, he just couldn't do it. Even so, he trained and practiced his own brand of strange ninjutsu in the presence of Kalua, and when they were together, his skills seemed to flourish. With no formal training, Kane had managed to duplicate the ninja basics, and even the Genin basics, in the course of just one short year. He continued his training, and became abnormally powerful, given his lack of education.

Upon his eighteenth birthday, Kane was told he had to leave-and had to leave Kalua behind. Kane finally snapped-he destroyed the orphanage, slaughtered the staff, murdered the inhabitants, erased all evidence of the orphanage having ever existed; save for Kalua. He left his old identity behind and took up the mantle of Kira, managing even to leave Kane Liddell in the ruins of the only home he had ever known.

Now, four years later, the pair travel the world freely, doing as they please, never quite within the bounds of lawful society; but as far as Kira was concerned, that was just how he liked it.

umm if I remember correctly having an element is a must xD of course that you can still keep the elemental chakra weakness, but wanted to point that out (I read that in the RPC creation guide of Kyu)

Also I'm not sure about your mental weaknesses, since you have all of the three most important and combat oriented strengths, but the weaknesses seem more like personality traits, could you please describe some of the effects of the mental weaknesses? that could help a lot :) [plus, if we use the so-hated numbers, weaknesses outweight strengths, but I'd still prefer if you describe some of the effects]

Aesthetics are aesthetic so yeah it's ok ^^ plus the mental weaknesses combined can actually give him a big disadvantage when fighting with a team sooo yeah it looks better

Your weaknesses outweigh your strengths by a fair bit (Basically you have an entire horrible weakness you don't need).

You can add another great strength or just bump up some of those very goods if you want.
