[Tessa]

"Trainer needed. Water walking jutsu." The advertisement posted on the fence nearby the bath house stated. It didn't really really need to be there since Tessa Lee already had already been instructed on how to do it. [See Wall walking jutsu training with compulsion] It simply meant a little bit of help couldn't hurt to speed up the traininger process.

Currently in the bath house a roar of splashing sounded as a girl wearing a black top and blue jeans kept jumping into the water inside. Not very effective means of training but it was something. In a corner a pair of skates with strange wheels lay carefully beside what seemed to be dry clothes.

[Tessa]

"Focus my spirit." Tessa Lee said as the water lapped at her feet. She formed a sign with her hands and built up her Road's Way (Chakra) inside like a raging fire then pushed it to flow to the feet. All she got instead was a loud splash as the water parted around her feet. Covering her gentle eyes she protected them from being sprayed. Sighing once more Tessa focused her spirit again and collected more Road. Instead of pushing against the water she tried to stick to it instead like the wall walking jutsu.

The water simply passed through harmlessly but when she raised her foot a shoe of water surrounded her foot. Surprised, Tessa lost her focus and became soaked once more as the liquid lost its form and dropped again in a wave of water. Trying again she tried to push the water away from her feet to once more part the water around her feet. Tessa smiled gleefully.

"Concentrate on pushing the water away." Contested thought as he eyes narrowed on observing the results of the last attempts. It seems possible now to be able to do the water walking. Still she couldn't do it all instantly either so she had to focus training first. Repel the water away from her feet then worry about the rest later.

Gathering her spirit together she closed her eyes feeling the coolness of her feet. The moisture between her toes and the sensation of liquid movement. Forcing the Road's Life down to her feet she pushed away at the elixir of life. She could feel the water level drop around her feet then crash back down to fill the space that parted the waters.

Trying again Tessa Lee sighed and gulped nervously. She wasn't used to harnessing spirit and it tired her out to try. Still she felt like she needed to try again so gathering her spirit again so she could do it again. It was a success but a little larger than just a small splash.

"Now I just need to control the flow of spirit so that the water stays away." I said gathering myself after taking a deep relaxing breath and steeled to go. In my breath I had drawn in spirit and focused it to my feet and created a flow similar to a trickling stream. I looked down trying to breath regularly from the strain and saw underneath my feet water part away from my feet and then try to refill the basin my Road created. I smiled as it stayed that way.

Finally of course Contested let the trickle of Path drop to nothing. "Peachy." She commented and waded towards the edge of the bath and sat down to allow a chance to rest and relax. After a while she fell asleep and dreams of swimming with sand sharks.

"Waking was like falling alseep except it wasn't a dream but a nightmarish reality. The hard facts of gravity and non-fiction came to as she jumped up from the waters with a start. It was late and nearly dark now so she would be alone for now. Nothing had bothered Contested's crimson coated dreams with their curiousities or interjections. Now of course she simply stood and focused her spirit once more to begin her training anew.

"This time pull the water to me as I walk." She said and tried to make her feet stick with water as if the water had some type of glue hold them around them. It wasn't successful since the Road's energy left and disolved into the water instead. Gathering more of her Road's Path she collected it around the soles of her feet and then began doing high knees. Droplets of water stuck to the bottom of her feet and Contested smiled rather widely with a far too eager grin on her face. It told of success, of power, and of another achievement in this world. Putting her feet down again she practiced sticking more water to her feet.

[Tessa]

"Finally make them work together as one controlling the push and pull as if it were merely sand underneath." Contested spoke to herself as she focused pushing the water away from her feet and then pulling the water to her. The water around her feet tried to push away for a moment and part as if Moses commanded it but when the Road's Path also pulled the water to her the water fell back in and she rose above the water as if she were balooning on top. It felt rather strange not to sink but Contested smiled as she stood on top of the water as if were solid sand. Splashing on top of the water she smiled happily and then jumped up and down to test her stepping and footing.

"Hill Contested, Queen on the Hill." It was successful now!
