Because i said so, now do it.

Genkaku would say as he glared at the boy and told the other one to go and start cleaning up the mess that he had left behind, he was still waiting for the first of them to give it a try, hopefully they were not failures at this as well.

Now, shall we begin ? lets go, you guys give it a try.

OOC: sorry for the shitty post and the long time guys, been really busy.

    .:Phase 1: Understanding the Vague:.

“Because I said so, now do it.”

Wow. What a stubborn man the shaggy guy was. Being stolen from the dark alley just to be ushered to climb a wall in a method that defies physics was not easy to comprehend. Especially for Nameless who had forgotten that he was a ninja before. Just shoving it to his face won’t do. Setting that aside, the method of climbing a wall piqued his interest. Walking on a wall or ceiling had its advantages after all.

Nameless recalled what the shaggy guy did earlier. He just walked on the wall, defying gravity and all. No visible tricks were done before he walked. The sole of his footgear didn’t seem to be sticky. It was done in a very casual manner. Well that was just helpful. How could he learn a technique without even knowing its mechanics?

Nameless stabbed his pole weapon on the ground before approaching the building chosen to be their training spot. The indifferent boy however chose to train on the dark alley beside it. It was very unusual for him to be with a group of people. Well he didn’t mind being in a crowded place, but being noticed by them was a different story.

As his body melded with the darkness of the alley, Nameless felt at peace again. It was like a sanctuary to him, an ominous veil that cradled him to safety. Thinking and doing things under this shroud was easier for no one was watching him. He was a lurker after all.

Staring at the wall at the far end of the alley, Nameless heaved a faint, yet deep breathe. Was he really going to do this? Learn a physics-defying technique? Well, he didn’t have a choice anyway. Besides, the technique would be a great addition to his skills. Propping himself, the boy started his unexpected training.

"Tch" could be heard as Luv's contorted gaze snapped over to the little hyoujun as he made his comment. She knew growing up in the academy and hyouga that they were a proud people and were prone to thinking they were above others due to their innate connection with their primary element. But they weren't in hyouga and being skilled in a element is one thing. Being skilled and knowing how to apply those skills is where it's at.

Calming down a moment she smiled as she casually walked up the wall to be near the teacher. While annoyed she figured it would be better to keep silent and just show the kid she was ahead of him. She wasn't even sure if he would even care what she had to say anyways. He seemed too aloof and laid back to really care one way or the other.

Reaching the top she looked down to see how the others were doing and back to the teacher. Looking back to the boy who walked away into a darker part of the ally she started to rub her eyes some as they began to hurt.

    .:Phase 2: Testing possible methods:.

Tensing his leg muscles, Nameless ran towards the end of the alley, his stoic eyes fixated at the wall he was about to step on. The boy was in a fast pace, but not too fast that he would splatter on it like a bucket of red paint. When he was a few feet away from it, the boy took a leap.

Nameless’ right foot was the first to touch the wall. Before it lost its footing, the boy had already stepped his left foot on it. Shifting his weight properly, he would push his body up to take another step. And then another. Then another. On his fifth step however, gravity had managed to cling to his body, pulling him back to the earthen ground. With no way to recover his wall-climbing streak, the brunette allowed himself to be pulled down, performing a back flip in the air to regain his posture. He landed neatly on the ground afterwards.

Basically momentum had little contribution on this technique. It was pretty evident from the way the shaggy guy performed the technique. He neither ran nor sprinted. He just walked casually, or rather, lazily. He was just like strolling for the sake of strolling. How in Seichi did he perform such a feat?

Nameless crouched on the ground, his left hand resting on his left knee while the other caressed the earthen ground. His black eyes were stoic as ever, not indicating any kind of emotions or expressions other than an indifferent facade. Deep inside the recesses of his mind however, the boy was thinking about theories regarding the performance of the wall-climbing technique.

    .:Phase 3: Prickly Discovery:.

With knowledge about chakra long forgotten, Nameless couldn’t think of any possible way for him to perform the wall-climbing technique. The method used by the shaggy guy was probably something that couldn’t be done by a normal person. Something that was far from physical logic. Probably magic related? The boy didn’t have any clear idea about it.

Well, it seemed that Nameless had no choice but to continue what he was doing and just hope for the best. Or a miracle.

With a faint heave of breath, Nameless would sprint once again towards the wall. And just like before, he would leap on it the moment he reached his desirable range. Right foot pressing on the hard wall, the boy would shift his weight again properly as he propped himself upward. He would follow this up with another step from his left. Then his right. Then his left again. Again and again before he lost his footing on his tenth step.

Flinging his body away from the wall, Nameless would perform a backflip midair before landing neatly on the ground. With any rest in between, the boy would sprint again towards the wall to perform the same routine. The boy did this quite a lot, probably around a hundred or so of cycle. His attempts seemed to be hopeless though.

    Until he surprisingly discovered something.

In one of his last runs, Nameless slipped his footing while he was on the wall. To avoid totally falling in a bad way, the boy pressed his hands against the wall, mimicking a crouching position. Only vertical. His determination of remaining clung to the wall sent strong prickly sensations on his hands and feet. They were quite painful, yet was still tolerable to the very least. He was able to remain attached to the wall for a full second before succumbing to the pain building up on his hands and feet.

Barely landing clean on the ground, Nameless sat on one of the boxes in the alley. His hands and feet were throbbing in pain. He didn’t know what caused the pain, but he knew one thing. He was able to cling on the wall for a whole second while invisible thorns were pricking his hands and feet.

Nameless took a rest for a moment, waiting for the pain to subside. And once it was gone, he would try it again for the nth time.

    .:Phase 4: Bracing Pain:.

Nameless stood up again after the pain subsided. Resting was not an option for him right now, especially after learning something about this prickly sensation. The boy always felt such feeling whenever he did thing something extreme. Sometimes it was automatic especially when he was holding his stop sign. However, he was not quite sure if it was really related. Well, there was only one thing for him to do.

Nameless ran towards the wall once again, his emerald green eyes seeing through the darkness just like a cat. Ofcourse, how clear could see was dependent on the available light in the already dark alley. As his distance from the wall grew shorter, there was only one thing in his mind.

    “I will not fall.”

Nameless recited the words in his mind multiple times. Though his stoic face could say otherwise, he thought of the words with such conviction. The boy’s undying will and determination were laced on each word. By the time he was at the right spot, the boy who never talked took a leap towards the wall.

Right foot pressing on the wall, Nameless quickly shifted his weight accordingly, just like before. In conjunction with it, the boy moved his left foot to perform a step. And while this was being done, he was deeply concentrating on the words in his mind. At the first few steps, he didn’t feel any pain. This forced him to concentrate even harder. Soon, he felt a growing pain on the soles of his feet, and the traction being created towards the wall.

Though it was painful, Nameless tried his best to keep his concentration intact. Sure it was almost unbearable, like his feet were being stabbed with one-inch long spikes. However, the boy must endure it to learn the technique. He was doing it, not because of the shaggy guy’s stubborn reasoning. He was doing it for himself.

Every step he took, the farther Nameless went from the ground. He was literally climbing now, defying gravity. However at the moment, it was not yet perfect. Most of his mind was dedicated to his concentration. Doing other things would be near impossible for him.

Learning that he was already far off from the ground, Nameless would release himself from the wall. Using the walls on both sides of the alley, the boy would jump back to the ground. And when he was back to the ground, he couldn’t help but rest his body on the ground. He was beat. His feet were throbbing. He needed some rest.

    .:Phase 5: Vertical Mastery:.

Nameless really took his time to rest. The others might thought that he already fled. The boy didn’t however. He would if he could though. He was just in the alleyway, lying on the ground and basking himself in the darkness. The pain on his feet took a while before it subsided completely. The pain made him cringe, though it wasn’t shown on his face. It was still as stoic as ever.

Standing up in a creepy, lethargic manner, Nameless would stoically stare at the wall. As if he could give any different stare anyway. The boy’s feet would move, but in a casual pace. He didn’t bothered running. He just walked.

By the time he was an arm away from the wall, Nameless would press his right foot on it. Taking some time, the boy would concentrate. This time, instead of just rushing in, the boy took his time. Slowly, the pain started to build on the sole of his right foot. Prickly it was, but it was bearable. Well, he must endure it one way or another. Feeling that he had already a connection on the wall, the boy would prop himself to stand on it.

Trusting the pain on his right foot, Nameless shifted his weight as he lifted his left foot. The boy then pressed it on the wall. Automatically, the stabbing pain was felt on its sole, indicating that it already created a connection on the wall. Calming himself, he took a step.

And then another. Then another one. Nameless soon realized that he was walking and the pain on the soles of his feet was not as bad as before. It seemed that he managed to get the right control and concentration. The technique was also not that hard to maintain anymore. It was less burdening.

Mastering the wall-climbing technique, Nameless would walk on the wall and out of the alley. Soon enough he would be standing on the wall where they should have supposedly trained for it.

As Luv sat there on the edge of the building looking down she looked over to where the silent boy had walked off to. The only real name she could think of for him was dark creature. His actions, attitude and even the only speech he gave showed he was a creature of instinct more than anything. Not knowing his story she watched.

As she looked she started to feel a slight drain on her body. Nothing major, just a little chakra loss, but why was it happening without her permission? All the light in the area was starting to really hurt her eyes. To the onlookers her red Dao eyes were glowing a faint glow but to her everything was getting bright and it was hurting her head.

Grabbing her face to protect her eyes she tried to block out the light in the area and laid back in pain. She didn't know what was going on and was to focused on it to care. Only after a few moments did the pain start to subside and she was able to remove her fingers from in front of her eyes. It's as if the world was entirely different. Her eyes were far more sensitive to the light in the area. Sitting back up still clasping her face but with the finger speed she was able to see the boy in the ally much better. Before he was cloaked some in the shadows but now those shadows were far less.

Peering into the shadows she saw the boy stick to the wall some but fall with grace only to look as if he was in pain. She couldn't see his face but she just had a feeling he was in pain. Her perception was acute at the moment. Almost as if her hearing and sight were on overdrive. "Am I getting a migraine?" she thought to herself as she tried to calm her eyes down mentally. How she had wished she knew the genjutsu 'No Pain' she had read about.

Closing her eyes she would sit back from the wall. "I think something is wrong with my eyes" Focusing more on the charka she dialed it back some. She had a excellent control over her own system. More than most genin and even some chuunin her control would be deemed top tier. whatever was happening she didn't have control over it at the moment but she felt she could with her woman/shinobi intuition.

Trying to actively cut the excess chakra from going to her eyes. The pain to her eyes went away entirely. With the throbbing gone she removed her hand from her face and the shadows in the ally were normal again. She could still the boys outline as she perked her head up to see over the ridge but he was no long clear to see.

Not knowing what would happen she tried to see if it would happen again or was a fluke by concentrating again and seeing if the shadows would become more visible to her but to her disappointment they didn't.

What seemed like a long through process in her head was only but moments to the world. Almost like a dream that lasted only but seconds but to the dream a week. She remembered in her training hearing about both the Lune and the Dao bloodlines. Both had a innate connection to light in some way. She devolved neither bloodline. It was always explained to her that being 50% of both bloodlines canceled each other out and that is why she couldn't evolve either. Maybe this phenomenon was a natural reaction? A development of her eyes.

After her self realization she focused charka into her eyes again. In a instant the world as she had always perceived it was entirely different. Shadows moved back as light moved in. Alleys that were pitch black were now only some black. She could see the boy still struggling to climb the wall and he would be for awhile as they waited. She could tell that this ability came with a price. While she could see far better with a light source, what she had deemed low light vision at this point, she was equally more vulnerable to bright flashes of light.

Maybe it was due to her blood but she was able to master this jutsu in just a matter of moments. She had awakened something inside of her.

After canceling and reactivating her new found jutsu a few times she peered down to see now the hyoujun was doing. Maybe he needed some pointers. While she didn't think he would listen to her she did want to be a team player non the less. Someone in this miss matched group had to put forth the effort or they'd never succeed if it came down to group missions in the future.

Having her eyes return to normal she couldn't help but hear the shrill squawk of a bird as it landed on her knee. On his leg was a tiny scroll case with a Hyougun marker on it. "How did this bird know where I was" she thought to herself as she unraveled the note. Her eyes widened in shock. She was being called for a mission and had to depart now or she wouldn't make it in time. "Who would send me clear over here only to have me travel back" Luv thought in protest.

Looking up at the broad man. "Sir, I have to go. I've been called for a mission but it says I'm to return to you at your discretion after it's finished."

Standing up she gathered her things and wished everyone a goodluck and hurriedly sped off into the shadows of the alleys to her new-found destination.

The noisy girl left them, while the new guy remained still. Same went to the shaggy guy who was just there for the sake of teaching. It was still a mystery for him why they were doing this. They were being trained as if they were teammates.

    Teammates.

Nameless released himself from his painful attachment to the wall, allowing gravity to drag him back to the ground. Used to such dangerous feats, the brunette simply spun in the air before landing neatly on the ground. His drop only earned a faint ‘thump!’ which showed his superb control over his body. The boy then walked towards his stop sign, pulling it off the brown soil before heading to one of the buildings in their vicinity. He wanted to be alone. Being with others won’t work. At all.

    .:Mutation:.

Nameless didn’t enter the building, but went behind it and camped there for the night instead. The bland air was cold, something he was used to. The boy preferred being in cold places. He rarely felt warmth. And if he did feel it, it would be usually caused by the warm blood and guts of his kills covering him.

Nameless’ back met the cold wall as he leaned on it before staring at the full moon. It silvery glow was a beautiful sight for him. If he could just stare at it forever, he would. However, his ebony-dark eyes were having a hard time adjusting to the light condition. It seemed that his precious orbs were not really meant to look at such beautiful scenery.

Despite this however, Nameless still continued to stare at the silver moon. Pain was building up, but it was still tolerable for him. Atleast for now. Little did he know that his body wanted to protect the legacy it possesses so much that it was now currently adjusting his genetic makeup.

    .:Blinding Light:.

Almost half an hour had passed before Nameless looked away from the silver moon. Moisture flowed over his expressionless face, his hands pressing on his abused eyes. The boy couldn’t see a thing other than a blanket of painful white. It was luminous. No, it was too luminous for his eyes to handle. He was now feeling pain in and around his eyes, akin to that of being seared with scorching hot metal.

Though he was in pain, his face remained emotionless.

While he was enduring the pain in his eyes, Nameless’ body took its time remodelling his cells, specifically the pores in his skin. Mutation of organism was a very long cycle, taking hundreds or thousands of years to finish. And by the time it was finished, it would start a new cycle to adapt to its surrounding. In this boy’s case however, mutation was on haste today. It seemed that it was in rush to protect the brunette’s precious eyes from the beautiful yet harmful light of the moon.

    .:Shade Glands:.

Pain was soon felt in every nook of Nameless’ body. It was like every cell in his body was being stabbed repeatedly. Face still fixated in an emotionless demeanour, the boy curled on the ground as he winced in pain. His body was reaching the peak of his mutation, the most important part of the cycle; the creation of myriad of special glands in his skin.

As Nameless curled in pain, glands were formed in his skin. They were obviously too small for the eyes to see, but their function was big enough for the protection of the boy’s precious eyes. Little by little, his skin was infested by these glands. They were not yet functional, but later they would be.

The pain Nameless was feeling spiked up, forcing him to speak one word. Due to his speech condition, it was hard for him to utter it.

    “I-i-t-t-tai...”

    .:Shade Dust:.

Blank black eyes blinked a couple of times as it stared at the starlit sky. The silver moon loomed over Nameless who just woke up from his sudden sleep. The boy seemed to have lost his consciousness during his painful mutation. Ofcourse, he was only aware about the pain and not the mutation. He was pretty much unaware of the change that happened in him.

The silver glow of the moon caressed his expressionless face. Once again, it touched his beautiful black eyes. At first it was warm and soothing, but as time pressed on, it was hot and searing. The boy’s eyes were too sensitive to such intensity of light. How he wished he could look straight at the moon without any problem. If only the light could just dim to a degree tolerable for his eyes.

In order to save the most important body part of Nameless, the boy’s own body acted on its own. From the myriad of new glands available in his skin came wisps of a dust-like material. Said material was very light, easily dispersing in the air the moment it made contact with the atmosphere. It also bore a faint ashy scent. What remarkable about this dust was its property to neglect light. As a thin dome of this dust covered the brunette, every light directed at him were somewhat weakened, as if they were being shunned away.

Nameless, still oblivious on what his body was doing, stared directly at the moon, the light from it dulled to a tolerable degree. Though his face remained stoic, he was... happy deep inside.

    .:Water Please!:.

    “Treppy...”

Nameless meant ‘Pretty’, but his speech defect worked its magic and forced him to jumble the words. Well, he didn’t mind his mistake. All that mattered to the boy right now was the beautiful sight above him. The silver moon.

With the help of the scattered Shade Dust, Nameless was able to look directly at the moon without any problem. As if there was a dark film placed on his eyes to lessen the light. And it was getting darker. Little did the boy know that his body was starting to produce too much Shade Dust. Ofcourse, the boy was not aware of such dust. All he knew was that it was getting darker.

And he was starting to get thirsty.

Lethargic in his movements, Nameless slowly stood from the ground and quickly looked for any source of drinkable liquid. The boy entered every building near to his location, but he failed to find any working faucet. He was about to pass out due to thirst. Lucky enough, the boy stumbled on a bathroom. And in that bathroom, he found water from the working shower.

Seeing that the shaggy guy is preoccupied in training the new guy, Nameless took the liberty to escape after he received his well earned rest. Moving silently through the shadows, the stoic boy took his time, slowly inching away from them. Soon enough, he was far enough from them to run unnoticed.

    OOC: Kinobori training #1

Izaya snapped out of his little daydream that consisted of ponies, rainbows, cookies and other weirdness. He scratched his head lightly as he looked around to orient himself a little. Then he remember what the old man had told them about walking on walls, defying gravity like a baus.

Recollecting what had been told to him, stared he at a wall in front of him for a minute before starting the training. Izaya went through the series of handseals that the scruffy man had shown him and focues his chakra into his feet, the medium of this ninjutsu.

Placing one foot on the wall, tried he to remove it again. With a lot of success, which wasn't good in this case. So simply having chakra in your foot won't make it stick to the wall... he thought for himself. Then I simply need to change the used chakra's properties to become more like glue... the words flowed through his slow mind as he did what he had thought, charging his feet with chakra while trying to give it a sticky affinity. It was harder than it seemed at first, considering it was kinda like changing the nature of chakra. But it was a challenge that Izaya was dedicated to win and after a couple of tries did he succeed with making chakra like glue, or something similar at least.

This time as the foot touched the wall seemed to stay there. Izaya grinned and let go of the wall again, folding his pale arms over his belly, now all he had to do was to figure out how he would use this in walking on a wall, or a ceiling for that matter. This was certainly a lot of fun~
