.:Phase 1: Understanding the Vague:.
“Because I said so, now do it.”
Wow. What a stubborn man the shaggy guy was. Being stolen from the dark alley just to be ushered to climb a wall in a method that defies physics was not easy to comprehend. Especially for Nameless who had forgotten that he was a ninja before. Just shoving it to his face won’t do. Setting that aside, the method of climbing a wall piqued his interest. Walking on a wall or ceiling had its advantages after all.
Nameless recalled what the shaggy guy did earlier. He just walked on the wall, defying gravity and all. No visible tricks were done before he walked. The sole of his footgear didn’t seem to be sticky. It was done in a very casual manner. Well that was just helpful. How could he learn a technique without even knowing its mechanics?
Nameless stabbed his pole weapon on the ground before approaching the building chosen to be their training spot. The indifferent boy however chose to train on the dark alley beside it. It was very unusual for him to be with a group of people. Well he didn’t mind being in a crowded place, but being noticed by them was a different story.
As his body melded with the darkness of the alley, Nameless felt at peace again. It was like a sanctuary to him, an ominous veil that cradled him to safety. Thinking and doing things under this shroud was easier for no one was watching him. He was a lurker after all.
Staring at the wall at the far end of the alley, Nameless heaved a faint, yet deep breathe. Was he really going to do this? Learn a physics-defying technique? Well, he didn’t have a choice anyway. Besides, the technique would be a great addition to his skills. Propping himself, the boy started his unexpected training.
