OCC: Mission Detail


IC: The moon high in the sky the desert sand cool to the touch, small nocturnal creatures would be present now. A single figure small and fast moving towards the village where the missing nin were last seen. The jounin in the disguise of a large desert snake would be making his way towards the village quickly, night time was best suited for scouting as in this barren land he could be spotted from miles away.

Anyway the village had been attacked by he didn't know if it had been captured by the MN since contact with the team was lost. His only options were to do some recon or run in guns a blazing...recon turned out to be the best option after all. After circling the village once getting in every detail he could, the jounin would enter into the village using the shadows of the houses to further keep his self hidden as he searched for any signs of civilians that lived in the village.

Any survivors would be good for him as they could possibly provide him with a source of information about the Missing-nin or the missing team.

From far away the lights of the fires could be seen. The village had suffered a lot of damage. Naoya would have no trouble getting into the village. His inspection would reveal the terrible state in which the place was. Several houses had been burned down or destroyed by force. There were several bodies on the floor already dead and there were some people running around but they did not look friendly. If he paid close attention to the buildings he would notice that there were some that showed little to no signs of destruction…

Several criminals would be circling the village as well looking for any signs of reinforcements from their opponents. If Naoya wasn’t careful he will find himself fighting quite a lot of opponents. From his inspection Naoya could pick up three important points, one there were a lot of criminals running around the village causing havoc or scouting, two most of the buildings had been destroyed but there was a small number that were still in good condition and three some buildings had people guarding the doors.

The village was more heavily guarded than Naoya thought and if he was going to succeed in this mission then he had to find the shinobi that had been captured and fix them up quickly. Seeing as some of the remaining building were still in tact and had guards Naoya would head to the one that was closest to the edge of the village. He was hoping that the team would be inside of it and with that he would be able to take the village back from the MN.

Moving around the back of the buildings the jounin would look into the window still using the disguise of the snake to keep his movements hidden. He would use his heat sense but he wanted to make this a bit more challenging for his self. He would search the inside of the building to the best of his abilities only deciding to use his bloodlines ability if he couldn't see any one in the building.

IF he did happen across some people he would examine them for a bit to see if they were who he was looking for or even some people in the village that were being held captive. Either one would do for him as he did his best to silently push the window he was at up and to sneak inside using his stealth to make no noise. Silently he would move to the group to check them up then to get them out of the village silently.

The guards did not see the snake moving around, they were looking for humans not animals. When Naoya found the window it was broken, if he looked inside he would find signs of fire but it had already been put out. There were people inside the building. They seemed to be working on some stuff. 5 were men and one was a woman. Their clothes were dirty which meant that they had suffered a lot or were criminals that escaped from jail. The group seemed to be looking around for weapons since a nice pile of weapons was near them and one of the guys threw a knife into the pile. They weren’t speaking to each other.

Now these criminals were rather organized, a group of 3 had just finished circling the front of the buildings and were now on their way to search the backside of each building. If Naoya did not hurry up with his decision they would find him. The people inside the building were not aware of his presence yet they were too distracted on their current job and the door was closed so the guards were unable to hear or see what was going inside.

The people inside the house didn't really seem like civilians but the fact that they didn't seem to be hostages also made it hard for Naoya to decide what to do. The approaching guards didn't help with his decision making either. Quickly moving away from the window the jounin would hide behind a near by house to avoid the guards before moving to one of the other buildings that were guarded by the group of MN.

He had to tread carefully with every place he moved, but he was doing alright for the time being. Silently he would make his way to a window out of sight from the other MN so he check inside to see if this time he had a more promising house. Once again he was looking for any signs of hostages or shinobi but this time he would be prepared for anyone that came close to discovering him.

The hands seals being performed as he looked in the window he would prepare Re-Za to kill anyone that got too close and was hostile.

Katon: Re-Za [Fire Release: Laser]

Description: This is a ranged jutsu for katon users. This technique was developed to give them some range. Chakra is forced into the point of attack of their body. Afterward it is blasted out in a heat laser. The attack fires in a 90 degree spread. The start to this attack is slow because it requires a charging time of one post. But it then after being fired moves at incredible speed. This increases in strength by shrinking the size of the attack but focuses in the chakra weakening the wave on range. This technique burns using the energy of the chakra. And has a range of 30 ft.

Naoya was successful in evading the criminal scouts and the people inside the building were free to continue gathering weapons. Being a snake Naoya was able to move around rather well and not get noticed by the criminals who were busy looking for Shinobi and rampaging through town. The jounin went deeper into the town this time he approached a house that was also guarded like the previous building.

This time there was a window and it was closed, smoke had stained the window and it wasn’t possible to see through it. There were no sounds to be heard inside the house and it was unsure if the door was closed or open until he found a way to look into the house. The group of criminals scouting were far away from him but time was still running out. There were also people on the roof serving as sentries and they will notice if a snake is seen slithering around the ground too much.

The window of the buildings was smoked stained and it made a bit annoyed that it was as such. Silently he would activate his smoke sight to see if he could see into the building now but if he couldn't then he would realize that this mission was going to require his heat sense ability. Closing his eyes he would check the number of people around him and inside the buildings before he went inside. The downside from this however he would not be able to easily distinguish who was friend or foe, he would have to solely rely on how they were moving.

Checking the window to see if it was easy to open, using lock picking if the opposite was true about it being open. Slipping inside he would remove his disguise going into full stealth as he wrapped his head band over his eyes and pulling the hood of his shirt over his head. The abilities of his hood and headbands sash would active giving him an even greater edge against these MN.

Anyway his goal was now was to move on the group that was inside this house. Since he was now blind and deaf his only sense was that of his bloodline's heat sense along with all the others besides sight and hearing. Using his stealth to its fullest he would sneak up on the closest heat signature to see if it was moving like one of the criminals, if it was he would shoot the person in the head with his laser.

Quickly he would dash over to catch the body before it hit the floor and would instantly set it on fire using his ceremonial burning this burning would produce no smoke and the flame being midnight blue would be hard to see unless the buildings was pitch black.

Heat Sense allows the user to visualize his environment by detecting the exact size and shape of various objects around him by detecting their heat signatures, and can even identify familiar objects and people by their own heat signatures; in this way, it becomes as valuable as, if not more valuable than, eyesight.

Naoya would find that using Smoke Sight was useless since it was a smoke stain and not actual smoke anymore. He would indeed need to resort to his other abilities. The use of his heat sense ability would reveal that there were 4 people in the nearby area. 3 of those 4 were moving while one was standing still. The window was closed before but thanks to his jutsu, Naoya was able to open it.

The jounin was now inside the building using only his ability to sense heat to guide him. The men inside the building were not aware of his presence yet. This man knew how to move around without being caught. However Naoya decided that this time he would attack. The man walking was caught by Naoya and shot in the head with a laser. This man was now dead and his body was set on a very unusual fire that gave off no smoke. The person that was not moving stood up and began to run away kicking the door several times in frustration, the people who were guarding the door tore it down and one ran at Naoya with a lance in his hand, trampling over the poor man in the process. The jounin would find that the man's movements were slow and easily avoidable. Meanwhile the other ran to the others and announced what had happened.

Outside of that house chaos was happening, the criminals were now aware that someone had arrived at their precious village and several criminals were running to tell their higher ups. The sentries were now keeping a closer eye on the streets and the patrols were doubled. The men Naoya left alone a couple of seconds back were now handing weapons to everyone they saw. There was now a mob of criminals armed, some were heading toward his building, some were patrolling and some were simply holding down fort inside the buildings.

As the man was killed and the other stood up, Naoya knew instantly that it was not someone he was looking for. His hands coming together and flying through the seals as the man was running to the door he would create one of his A rank smoke chains quickly having it shoot out at top speed and wrapping around the man's body and pulling him back just as his leg was coming up to kick the door. The jounin would lift the man off the ground so he couldn't really do much else and would tighten the section of the chain that was wrapped around his throat making sure the part over his mouth was still covering it and making him quiet.

The jounin would grin wildly at the man making sure he could see the evil smile. Making the end of his smoke chain a spike he would aim it at the man's eye before bringing him close so they could have a heart to heart.

"You have a few friends of mine...I would appreciate you cooperate with me or it could even very badly for you...now I'm going to allow you to talk but if you show any sign of betraying me you'll have this spike in your brain...now where are the shinobi that were protecting this village." Naoya would do as he said letting a small bit of the chain move off the man's mouth awaiting an answer.

He would remove his head band so he could use his glasses so if the man tried to lie to him he would know. As stated before if the man tried screaming out the spiked end of the smoke chain would be put into his brain coming in from his left eye socket. Even if the man gave the right answer the jounin would still kill him afterwords setting his body on fire with Ceremonial burning so it would leave no evidence only putting his headband back on afterwards.

Withdrawing his smoke chain back into himself he would begin searching for any sentries up above or around before he decided to move out of the building to make his way through the darkness to the next building with guards.

If any sentries above would get in his way he would send out his smoke chain to hide in the shadows, so they could wrap up the guard and pull them down to him so he could kill them then set them on fire in a hidden area.

The man running towards the door was caught by Naoya swiftly through a smoke chain. He was not successful in kicking the door. However the guards still heard what was going on and they carried on with their duties. Not that it would make much difference in this situation. When one of the guards opened the door and saw Naoya he closed the door and ran dropping his lance in the process, cause that’s what you usually do when you see a smoke chain coming out of a person’s body.

The captured man could not scream or talk since the chain was covering his mouth. Naoya brought the man close to him. Fear could be seen all over the man, even smelled. Naoya asked the man a question and moved the chain slightly so he could speak. ”You are certainly asking the wrong person, I was in jail before I was brought here. When I saw this place it was already like this all they said was, have fun and be free.” Naoya would find that the man was not telling a lie, though that was visible even without the glasses this man was too scared to lie. Naoya still killed the man and put his body to the fire like he did to the previous man.

Once outside Naoya would find that there were sentries on top of that building and two building to the right. However if Naoya decided to exit through the door he would meet a mob of criminals waiting for him. The people were aware of him being here and not every one of them was a coward. The sentries were ordered to shoot at sight and the mob was to attack in groups and be as deadly as possible. Since they knew that he would meet the mob if he used the door several patrols were watching the alley behind the buildings including the one he was in. Every patrol group was composed of three men, one of them had a horn to sound if the shinobi was sighted while the other two were ordered to engage in combat or hold him off until reinforcements arrive.

Inside the building there was a second floor that Naoya had not noticed before, this building had been where they stored their supplies. It was mostly filled with meat, water and fruits. No weapons were here. But that was the ground floor. The contents of the second floor were unclear to the shinobi. Should he decide to look around before going out he will find that a door was waiting for him at the end of the steps, a locked door.

As the man came into the house and left Naoya would curse as he was spotted, he didn't feel like having to fight his way through hordes of MN to fight this single group of shinobi...hell he didn't even know who these people were...Sighing to his self mentally as he was given his information and killed the criminal anyway and would put his head band back onto his face. His heat sense always active he would sense the men surrounding the buildings, seems like he screwed up.

Still the jounin would be smiling with blood lust heavy in the air, his first act was to quickly barricade the front door with the kitchen's table then barricade the back door using the chairs, he wouldn't forget to close the window however. Quickly he would move back into the kitchen to see if they had a gas stove which then he would turn on to max leaving the oven open so it would begin feeling the entire house. In that short time frame he would quickly run up stairs to search the area using his heat sense to keep tabs on the men out side and those inside.

As he came to the locked door he would see what was on the other side before using lock picking to open it up and see what was in there. If it was one of the shinobi he had to help he would quickly go over any major wounds to make sure they were able to walk before running down stairs to quickly to trap the front door with a single explosive tag so they it was forced open the entire house would explode thanks to the gas.

Either way this was his que to get the hell out of there as he slammed his back to a wall closest to another buildings before identifying two things big enough for them to switch with. He would focus intently on an object like a bed in the house before switching with it only after telling the man the exact location of the object he was going to switch with. He would only do it after he confirmed with the man that he had leech all or not.

This would effectively get the out of harms way and would even get rid of a few MN in the process.

Naoya’s plan was a good one and so far things were working out for him. Barricading the doors bought him some time but he didn’t have much. The men outside had weapons that could easily break down a door. He would be able to hear the clamor outside as men rallied together and formulated a plan to kill him. Once he got to the second floor and opened the door he would notice that there was a shinobi there on the floor. Upon closer inspection Naoya will find that the man is greatly exhausted. He has one deep wound on his left leg, and the man was also suffering from a concussion. His face showed several bruises but no cuts, this could mean that the man was attacked by a Taijutsu user or he was overwhelmed by the criminals outside.

Once the man noticed Naoya’s presence he took out a kunai and held it in his hand. ”I’ll…kill you…if I…have…to…” He didn’t have enough strength to move even his arm. Once Naoya proves to the man he is here to help and treats the man’s wounds they will be able to move on. Should Naoya follow his plan he will see that the next building had plenty of stuff for them to Kawarimi with. But before the rescued Shinobi moved, he would point towards a table in the room. On top of said table was a piece of paper, if Naoya takes a closer look he will find that it’s a map with several markings. What do they mean? Maybe the Shinobi knows…

Naoya would curse as it was obvious from the heat signature that the man was in poor condition. Taking off his head band once more he would stash it away to examine the man. The gash in his leg was pretty bad but staying here to treat it was an even worse idea. Quickly running down stairs the jounin would rig the door with the explosive tag as was his plan before running back upstairs.

Not taking the time to look at the map just yet he would stash it away before picking the man up and moving his hands together. Putting his back to the a wall close to the other buildings Naoya would have him body switch with an object in the other house. Once done Naoya wold do the exact same thing keeping both him and the man safe from the soon to come explosion.

Finding a close by bed Naoya would throw the man onto it as gently as he could. Closing the bed room door he would barricade it so he had time to focus on his heat sense and see if anyone was in the house besides them. When the ghost was clear he would pull out his med kit using his sterile gauze pads to clean the wound then using the antiseptic spray to protect the wound and keep it from getting any infections afterwards.

He was moving fast for they didn't have time to dwindle for long but he wasn't going to use his chakra to speed up the healing process, not yet at least...using his stitching kit he would sew up the wound with the alcohol soaked thread before wrapping it with his bandages and tapping it to stay on. Using Healing Hands to lessen the pain of the wound and to make it a bit more shallow so it would heal faster along with him becoming more useful in battle. He would even move his hands over the man's head to heal up his bruises and to lessen his concussion so he could recover with out any long term problems.

Taking a deep sigh Naoya would put his supplies away before examining the rest of the man to make sure nothing was broken and to examine how exhausted he was...if he was to exhausted Naoya would have the man rest up in the bed while he kept watch. He would give him 30 minutes of rest so he could at least recover some before Naoya would inquire about the map that he would be studying while the man rested.

While the jounin was busy seeing to his new comrade and placing his traps, the criminals outside were thinking of a way to kill him. ”If he barricaded the door it means he’s prepared to face us, I don’t like our chances fighting such a man inside a house.” Another guy spoke his mind. ”We don’t need to get our hands dirty. He’s inside; I say we burn the place down. I like fire.” Suddenly every man roared holding their weapons up in the air. Several men with torches threw them at the house, but only on the front.

Inside the house Naoya had begun to treat the Shinobi. Using Kawarimi he was successful in entering the other room. His heat sense would reveal no other signature, only his and the wounded Shinobi. He would be able to sense a rapid increase in the temperature, since the building next to his was now in flames and about to go boom boom. Now should Naoya stay and work on his comrade, he would find that the man showed no resistance once Naoya began to heal him. A couple of grunts of pain here and there was all the man said. The man’s leg would now allow him to walk, even run thanks to Naoya’s medical skills. Once Naoya moved to the head, the man screamed. ”Ahhhhh! Where did they go? Where are the others? What happened!? Where am I!? Who are you!?” The concussion had caused him to lose his memory and Naoya sparked it back. The man showed little signs of exhaustion he was more in shock than exhausted. The man would not rest until his doubts were cleared.

Should Naoya choose to stay there he will hear the sound of the other building quickly exploding sending fire, debris and smoke his way. His building would also catch fire but as far as the explosion goes he was safe from the blast. The criminals considered him dead for the moment, though they might check the building to see if his corpse is there. Meanwhile on several points in the village certain individuals were preparing themselves for a showdown, the news that he was here had alerted them and they would not be caught unprepared.

As the man woke up and screamed Naoya would react fast slamming his hand over the man's mouth keeping him quiet. "I'm your medic...i'm here to rescue your team and get them out safely...but from what I'm thinking you all want revenge..." Naoya would say silently enough that only him and the man could hear. His head band still in his back pocket, He would remove the map and hand it to the man so they could quickly move since his plan was going a miss and the explosion was catching his building on fire as well.

Quickly he would move the man down stairs using his heat sense to alert his self if there were any enemies waiting form them as they moved down stairs and quickly out a side window where no one was located. They would have to move between houses and into them if need-be, until they were in a house with far less enemies around. "Tell me whats with that map quickly...I have a feeling that it leads to where your other team mates are but not sure..."

Naoya would say that as he moved between windows checking out each of them stealthfully to make sure no one could see them inside. He would even go as far as to lock the doors so they wouldn't suddenly be barged in on. Awaiting the explanation Naoya would be studying the map his mind racing through scenerios that could possibly happen with them discussing battles plans on how to extract the team safely.

After the explanation Naoya would nod before looking the man in the eye. "I need a scope of your abilities right now...do you have leech all?"

The man would try to force his way of Naoya’s grasp, having roughly the same strength Naoya would have to apply some force or let the man break free. This dude was in shock placing a hand over his mouth was not a smart idea. However he still heard what Naoya said and this calmed him down. ”Revenge? Those guys beat me half to death if it wasn’t for you I would’ve died in here. The town was in chaos before we were beaten. Look, I know revenge is what one would normally want but right now I’m looking out for myself I want to get out of here so let’s get my friends and run from this hell. But if you want to fight those guys and free this village it’s your call but you should know that I’m in no shape to fight well. I mean sure I can move rather well and possibly defend but don’t expect me to be the same fighter I was, the same goes for my friends. Who knows where they are and how they are, they may be in worse shape than I was. Those guys were all ruthless I could have taken them if they had acted alone but they managed to free the prisoners before we could catch them and well those guys joined the fight too.” The man stopped talking there, it seemed to be bothering him to talk so much.

When Naoya asked about the map the man took it, inspecting it closely then he handed it back to Naoya. This was a map we made of the most important buildings of the village, they were the ones who were protected before the village was taken so we thought that the criminals would have a harder time getting there, but we were wrong everything has been taken.”[/b] The jounin clutched his head and shook it slowly. ”Ugh…can we get out of here like now?” He stood up slowly, Naoya had done a good job of mending the man but he wasn’t fully well yet. As Naoya looked through the windows he would notice that there was a mass of people standing in front of the building where he used to be, probably still the same group that wanted to enter and crush his bones. Should he try and look towards the roofs he will notice that the sentries are still there, some of them were slacking now eating meat or resting on their spears. Smoke was starting to fill the area, not just the house but the village too, everywhere there was something on fire. This was making his new teammate very uncomfortable.

If Naoya tried to go out of the house instead of having the conversation in there, he will find three groups of patrols walking around the building. Each group consisted of three men. The criminals were aware that he was in the building that caught fire but they knew he was someone strong and may have survived so they placed patrols in the nearby area. One group walked behind the buildings only and the other two guarded the sides. It wasn’t his specific building they were guarding, the group walking behind covered three buildings in that same straight alley and the ones on the side covered the buildings to the right and to the left of his current building. The front wasn’t guarded since the mass of people would be able to see him leave seeing as they were on the lookout for any sign of life or death.

Now when Naoya asked the man about his abilities the man took a step back. ”Why do you want to know that? You are wasting your time I will not tell you anything, not after what happened!” If Naoya made any sudden moves the man would do his best to run away making quite a bit of noise, he knew that it would probably mean his death but right now in his mind it was die or die. This way he would at least take Naoya with him. Yes this means the man thinks Naoya is trying to kill him.

Naoya would sigh heavily and just shake his head, "What ever then I'm not here to waste my life trying to get answers from someone...medic detail is my only concern...but if you had leech all it would save us the trouble of having to fight the man outside..." His mind running through plans Naoya would take a deep breathe as he began gathering smoke in side his mouth his only option was to smoke the entire area more than it already was and slip away in the smoke and into another house.

Any question would be ignored by the jounin as he retrieved the map and studied it for the next closest house to them that had an X. Moving towards a back pathway Naoya would let the smoke he was holding inside out and would slightly push up a window to allow it to float outside, he would open it up more allowing more of the smoke to pour out until he was suitable for them to escape outside unnoticed.

Leading the man to the next house that was safe the jounin would take a deep breath relaxing now that they were safe from a burning house and the multitude of guards that was already alerted to his presence.

I will not tell you anything, I will not follow you anywhere either for that matter. Unless you tell me what the hell is going on. The man was still very paranoid he was not violent, mainly because of his current physical condition. Naoya already had a plan formed it seems, and that plan could work well. However it is now in his hand to either leave this paranoid crazy ninja here or talk some sense into him. Whatever his answer was he must act quickly, time is of the essence in this particular situation.

Once Naoya makes his decision, assuming that decision brings no further consequences he will be free to continue his plan. His smoke would prove to be very helpful and would actually go by unnoticed since the patrol would see smoke coming from the house and assume that it caught fire as well this made them lower their guard. The nearest area that was marked on the map was not really a house, it was a jail. The very one from which all of these criminals escaped. However there were other buildings marked on the map, one was a Town Hall, Barracks and a Mansion that was a bit separated from the rest of the village. What will Naoya do and where will he go?

Naoya would look at the man a bit stunned after he had gone through the trouble of healing him and making him some what combat ready. He even introduced his self as their medic...the jounin was at a lost for words and would simply adjust his glasses on his face, "Listen to me now, I can care less if you die after this but right now I'm here to rescue your F-ing team who failed to take out some lousy criminals...You are in no position to question my orders when you can barely fend for your self...now get your ass out the window before the house burns atop of you...that is unless you can shunshin out of here and go get me some useful fucking backup."

Now depending on what the man did next Naoya would go about his business with going towards the Barracks. It was the most dangerous of all places the MN controlled right now and hey if he was able to get some supplies out of it then he wasn't going to complain.

Even as the jounin moved from the house he would continue using his smoke ability to produce smoke around his feet so it would cover his body and his foot steps from being noticed. All the while he would continue to use his heat sense to move about the city and not using his smoke to avoid being detected after leaving the area where smoke would make sense.

If the man followed or not the jounin would sigh heavily as he pulled forth one of his kunai from his pockets to use as a quick weapon. In case he had to dispatch another criminal from the chessboard this town had turned into.

Naoya’s anger only helped scare this poor man more. It takes a lot to scare a seasoned sinobi like this one, but apparently he was terrified. The man heeded Naoya’s suggestion and shushined out of that village. He knew that there was little he could do while being here and he really just wanted to be back home. Now Naoya was free to roam around as he pleased. His destination was the barracks. Thanks to his smoke ability and the criminals starting to lower their guard Naoya was out of the radar for a while.

No criminals noticed him, but they were there. The patrols seemed to lower and the sentries were getting lazier. Now once Naoya gets in sight of the barracks he will notice that there are two guards standing in front of the door. There are two archers standing on the roof one looking to the left and the other to the right. Should Naoya go around back he will find a single guard defending a door on the floor apparently leading to a basement. Should he look up there will also be an archer guarding that part on the roof. There were severals ways of tackling this situation which one will the jounin choose?
