Nog's specific species is currently unknown. He does, however, seem to be an ordinary lizard except for the fact that he has feathers. Overall he looks like a chick with lizard legs.

Nog is a feathered, bipedal lizard creature whose body is mostly still inside his shell. He is able to see from inside his shell as if it was a one-way mirror. From a distance he might look like a chick because of his yellow feathers, but closer inspection would reveal his red, scaly lizard legs and a feathered tail.

Personality:

Nog is friendly but intelligent and cautious. He is especially loving towards Yukari and her relative, Hikaru Sumiyori. Although his face cannot be seen, Nog expresses his feelings and reactions by drawing on his eggshell. He particularly likes using meme faces such as:

Due to this, Yukari usually brings an erasable marker along when Nog is with her.

Natural Traits: Nog's two feet can function as his hands. As a lizard, his feet also function as suctions which allow him to run on walls and ceilings. He cannot, however, stay on walls and ceilings for more than a moment since his eggshell is pretty heavy and gravity pulls hard on it.

- Bouncy shell: Nog's shell is elastic which allows him to bounce on walls and floors even when he falls.
- Good dexterity: He has fairly good dexterity with his feet which allows him to draw recognizable things.

- Bad eyesight: It's hard to see through an eggshell.
- Mute
- Incapable of understanding written words: Nog communicates through drawings. He cannot understand written words and has difficulty in understanding spoken words. Nog tries to understand the tone of one's voice. He can clearly understand "Nog" and "Yukari", but everything else depends on how someone says it.

History:

Nog was a gift from Hikaru Sumiyori when he spent a highly-entertaining Winter Ball with Yukari. Back then, Nog was merely a bouncy egg that had a marker-drawn face on it, once thought to be a hardboiled egg due to its resilience. He lived for four years within Yukari's Meow Bag and one day, he finally hatched... sort of.
