Ermine twitched his nose the moment that the two boys entered the room.

" What is that foul smell? " the cat hissed in Felinespeak, his eye on Takeshi.

Yukari's black cat then put its paw over its nose, hoping that the smell (and the human) would go away soon. The shower room could be put to good use at that point but if Takeshi was feeling rather bold, he could use Shun's bathroom. There was also a toilet in the real library of the mansion which was behind heavy double doors.This library had even more books and shelves compared to Shun's study; it was supposed to be a hall of various clan activities but the master of the house decided to cram even more books into it.

Ushitori clumsily walked up the stairs and into the bedroom, falling every few steps. Once she reached Yukari's room, the summon went over to a window and began to clean her feathers one by one. For such a primitive-looking beast, she was very neat. Meanwhile, in the kitchen, Yukari was trying to create another abomination: snacks.

The piggyback ride was great, Tsubasa seemed not to take any notice of his face bruising. The trobbing pangs of discomfort would fade, as it always did. Being thrown on the bed the boy decided it was a good time to go hide. Underneath the bed. However since no one was really playing hide or go seek, the kid would just fall back asleep, under the bed.

"Thanks, Takeshi" the kid mumbled from under the bed.

In his sleep the boy boy mumbled something about "Have cold feet" but that was about all that was audible enough to be understood.

"It's nothing. " he said, taking notice to the boys movement from the top of the bed to under it.

He noticed an open door in Yukari's room which lead to the closet, but there was another as well. He assumed it was a bathroom. The smell of the stew was overwhelming and sickening. He desperately needed a bath. With the work he had been doing all day, Takeshi hadn't managed to explore much of the large house and simply decided to use the woman's bathroom. Surely she wouldn't mind. And with that he rose to his feet an proceeded into the room, closing the door behind him. He didn't bother examining the place, it was a bathroom and that was all he really needed to know right now. Quickly undressing, he turned the shower on and began to clean himself.

Yukari was not pleased. She was not pleased at all. She told the little kiddies to go up to her room, but when she got there, the boys were nowhere in sight.

" Bad Oppai-chan, bad! Eating children is not part of a balanced diet! " the woman scolded Ushitori as soon as she stepped into her own bedroom.

On top of the closet, Ermine couldn't care any less. The source of the foul stench already went into the shower room and so the cat managed to fall asleep again. That is, until he noticed the snacks which Yukari brought along. There were cupcakes and little pastries on a tray, along with milk. The cat jumped off his perch and proceeded to lap up some milk from each of the four glasses on the tray. Now every glass of milk had cat spit, and Ermine had his full of very normal cow's milk. He knew to stay away from most of Yukari's cooking so he jumped up the closet and went to sleep again.

" They disappeared on their own... " Ushitori continued to clean her feathers but she vaguely answered her summoner.

The woman then heard the sound of shower water so she knocked on the door of her shower room.

" Tsubasa-chan-kun-chama? Are you in there? I have cakes and milk! " Yukari exclaimed.

She would then eagerly wait for the person to hop out of the shower, then she'd offer the sweets to him. The pastries would indeed be sweet and delicious however, if anyone tried to bite them, they would literally bite back and run out the bedroom door.

Takeshi failed to hear Yukari's knocking on the door, but had just finished rinsing out his hair as it was. Turning the water off an stepping from the shower refreshed, he began to scour the bathroom for a towel. He looked everywhere that seemed logical but failed to find one. He than looked everywhere that was Yukari-esque but still to no avail. It was around this time that he also realized he hasn't even brought a clean set of clothes to change into. This was quite the predicament he had placed himself in. He could very well dry himself with the clothes he had removed and put them back on as well, but than the shower would be completely pointless.

"Maybe I could sneak into Shun's room and find some more clothes? " he thought to himself.

Tsubasa was under the bed, Ushitori busy with herself, Yukari down stairs, and Shun in his study. At least he assumed this was still the cause, unaware of the changes in circumstance. Slowly opening the door he peeked his head out and was greeted by Yukari who was holding a tray of pastries, which suddenly attacked him face. He topped back into the bathroom and cried in horror as the tiny sweets gnawed on various places of his body. As it turns out the shower was indeed for naught, as the attack would just leave him sticky and covered in icing.

" Tako-chan! " Yukari was surprised but that emotion was quickly replaced by disappointment when her cupcakes ran away.

As her snacks gnawed on Takeshi, the woman tried to tell them off but really, she ended up telling the boy off.

" Now look at what you did making them all angry with your nakedness... " she stern said, " Oh no no, stop-drop-and-roll is for fire, not for rabid cupcakes! "

She stomped her foot a few times and that seemed to have scared the pastries away. They turned towards the bedroom door and all of them gleefully ran out to freedom. Yukari then offered a hand to the filthy child, not minding the nakedness one bit. She had seen many horrible things in her life such as baby poo and old men in hot springs, therefore just one buttnaked prepubescent boy was not enough to bother her.

" All of our snacks ran away so all that's left is milk, " Yukari said as she helped Takeshi up, then she would nudge him towards the shower, " Clean that stuff up. You might get devoured by ants and rats in your sleep. "

Takeshi groaned in disbelief as the rabid cupcakes fled, leaving him covered in tiny bite marks. The day was almost over but it clearly didn't want to let up on the poor boy. Groaning, he rose to his feet and returned to the shower for another bath, washing every part of himself once more. Hopefully Yukari would bring him a towel and some clothes.

Now clean and dressed, Takeshi sat a the foot of Yukari's bed picking at the wounds he received not long ago.

"I hope these don't get infected. " he said aloud, wondering if it was even possible as they had come from cupcakes.

The bed started moving, well not so much the bed, as the chibi underneath. Moans and groans were heard from under the bed. As a tired looking, still bruised looking kid came crawling from underneath. Since Takeshi had slapped him silly the boy started to resemble a chipmunk.... With some rest that seemed to lessen quite a bit.

"Hullo" Tsubabsa said to the room and whomever was there. Still sleepy he rubbed his eyes and yawned. He looked at Takeshi and asked "What had you for breakfast?" it was possible the chibi misspoke, however Takeshi did looked nibbled upon.

Yukari was actually sane enough to get Takeshi a towel and clothes. The shirt and pants were Raiyu's and would be a pretty good fit. However, Tsubasa's appearance from under the bed triggered her Lune side again and she picked up the boy and spun around the room with him. After that spectacle, she took the glasses of milk and offered them to the children.

" This will make you grow taller and taller, " she said, " It came from a real cow's boobies! "

At that point, Ushitori finished grooming her wings and she curled up in a corner of the bedroom then fell asleep. Yukari would take off her clothes and jump into the closet to sleep as well. Ermine, who was curious enough to watch everything, would look at the unfortunate boys and wonder if their childhood had been scarred enough.

"Cannibal cupcakes. " he responded as he watched the chibi chipmunk crawl from under the bed who was then captured and spun by Yukari.

Taking the milk and drinking it, Takeshi scratched the back of his head as he looked over the clothes he was wearing. He had to admit he had taken a liking to the outfit from earlier, but beggars couldn't be choosers. Finishing off the milk he placed the cup down on a nearby end table and thanked Yukari, who suddenly stripped and went into her closet. The boy blinked a couple times, more so from being tired rather than having seen something so horrible just now. Laying down in Yukari's bed, he proceeded to drift off to sleep, somewhat hoping that when he woke up he would be elsewhere.

With every body sleeping this was the perfect time for a campfire the chipmunk.... Tsubasa decided. For a campfire wood was needed so the boy went in search for wooden things that could burn. Since roof was broken somewhere he dedided to start his great gathering plan there. Surely there were some broken chairs and tables that could be used for this plan. It did not take long before Tsubasa had his hands full of pieces of burnable wood and made his way back to Yukari's room.

If the room had a fireplace he would start building the fire there. If not he would make preparations on the nicely carpeted floor. Once the boy was sure the logs were placed just right he thought really hard. He felt as if he were forgetting something important. It came to him quite quickly. He would need something to light the fire with....

With Yukari and Ushitori asleep, and Shun in his study, only Ermine and Tsubasa were left awake. The cat watched the chibi from his perch and it wasn't long before the boy's set up was complete.

" This place is a bit too indoor-y for a campfire, " Ermine meowed but all he did was jump down to Tsubasa's side.

Anything in the house was pretty much up for grabs. The chibi could roll wherever he wanted and no one would stop him. Even Ermine hardly cared knowing that the house could be rebuilt repeatedly, though Shun might dislike it if his archives went up in a blaze. In her closet, Yukari murmured about chocolate bunnies and lemon meringue.

Unknown to everyone in the immediate vicinity, something wonderful was happening in Yukari's Meow Bag. The egg which was appropriately named Nog stirred in the pocket universe, and the bag promptly spat it out. Now the egg was still an egg, but now it had a teeny tiny crack. Nog rolled onto the floor and if anyone stepped on it, they would find that it was rather bouncy like a rubber ball instead of fragile like most eggs.

"It's morning already? " Takeshi rose from his slumber prematurely at the first sign of light.

It had only been two hours or so since he had fallen asleep. Rising from the bed he rubbed the sand from his eyes and turned to the window. There was no light? But he was sure it was morning. Suddenly the sound of a crackling fire became audible to him. Spinning around he would be greeted by the site of Tsubasa sitting in front of an open fire.

"What are you doing?! " the boy jumped out of the bed and began to scurry around for something to douse the fire with. But the egg that rolled out of Yukari's bag had a different plan as the boy stepped on. The egg was incredibly bouncy and Takeshi, completely unprepared, tripped as a result of it and landed on his face with a loud thud.

" SOUFFLE! " Yukari yelled, woken up with a start by the loud thud that was Takeshi's face meeting the floor.

" It's the miracle of birth, " Ermine meowed as he pawed at Nog.

Yukari tumbled out of her closet wearing nothing but her hair. She picked up the little egg and immediately noticed the crack on its shell.

" Who hurted mah little bebeh?! " she screamed, " Was it you? "

She glared at the chibi but he was too cute beside the campfire.

" It was you, wasn't it! " Yukari screamed and by then, she was looking at Takeshi.

Little by little, eggshell pieces fell off from Nog. About halfway through, the eggshell shedding ended, revealing a fluffy yellow bottom. Yukari poked at what she thought was a chick, but red, scaly lizard legs grabbed her finger and a fluffy tail swished against her hand.

" Nog? " she spoke to the thing that was holding onto her finger.

The lizard in a halfshell energetically hopped right side up on the palm of Yukari's hand. It danced around a bit to show that it was alright. Yukari was speechless and all she could do was to attempt to rub the fluffy creature against Takeshi's face.

The campfire was nice and small, it made sure the room was nice and warm, a little smokey perhaps but nothing wrong with that. It was just that the chibi abhored the cold that was always tangible in Hyouga. The fire helped, a little. Tsubasa remembered someone who would also plant their face in the morning when waking up.... It seemed like a very uncomforable way to greet the morning. But the boy respected habits of other people, no matter how strange he thought them to be.

He had seen an egg rolling by earlier, and the egg was lucky that the kid had forgotten his frying pan from home. Or it would have been served as breakfast now.

"If you want breakfast, you will first have to hunt a pan. There is a good fire going though."

The chibi said proudly while pointing at the proof.

"Why don't you just go down the the kitchen? " Takeshi asked as Yukari rubbed the strange fluffy tailed lizard on his face.

He of course realized he was enabling the chibi but was much to tired to care a whole lot. Picking himself up from the floor he stared at Yukari as she continued to rub Nog on his face. It seemed to be the only thing she could do to express her awe for the little lizard. It's tail was incredibly soft however, and Takeshi seemed to be doing all he could to no nuzzle the thing.

By now the only one in the room not awake was Ushitori, much to Takeshi's glee. With any luck she would stay in the corner of the room snoozing away while he dealt with the two crazies in the room.

" I have been awake for more than five minutes. This is a new record, " Ermine meowed while he watched naked Yukari and her new pet.

Ushitori was already far into dreamland and shall return in the morning; she wouldn't bother anyone that night. Yukari, however, was wide awake and was even more widely awakened by the presence of Nog. The egg creature seemed to be enjoying the attention too.

" It's so cute and hfasuffjsfhasmfdhasfkdhsauyfsfsjkafhlsjkfhskjfdhsj kfhsjkfhsjfsdbnmffm, " the Hyougan muttered some weird words and it would take a genius to decipher what she just said.

Nog seemed to be just fine within his halfshell. Baby chickens are able to breathe through their shells after all. Yukari's pet, however, did not seem to making an effort to get out of his shell. From within his bouncy home, the lizard could barely see anything and he did not comprehend what the humans were saying. He just reacted to the tone of their voices which, up to that point, sounded friendly and nice. Nog wanted to say something though. He wanted to express his feelings.

" I wish I could see your face, " Yukari pouted. She then remembered that originally, there was a drawing on the eggshell but it might have disappeared over time.

The woman began to put some clothes on, particularly her shorts and one stocking. Eventually she didn't bother with the rest of her clothing and just went over to a drawer to get a marker.

" Happiness! " said Yukari, wanting to draw on Nog's shell.

The lizard waved his little foot though and took the marker when Yukari handed it to him. Nog drew a face on his own shell:



Yukari proudly showed Nog's drawing to Tsubasa and Takeshi.

" djafhlfdsfuyhsjafdhfdn,asfbhaskfhsajkfhasfjhsjkfsh fk!!!@!!!! " she said.

Takeshi couldn't help but snicker at Yukari's behavior. It was amusing to see he run around the room so excited. It could almost be compared to the running a chicken would do after having its head lopped clean off its shoulders. But on the other hand it was quite disturbing to watch a grown woman run around indecently whilst sputtering out incomprehensible nonsense about her pet. I would surely leave a prepubescent boy scarred in some way. But he continued watching nonetheless, trying to avoid eye contact with her bouncing boobs. They weren't milk cannons, unlike Ushitori's, so they didn't bother him much aside from the fact that they were exposed.

Having grown up in that place which did not restrict her freedom of expression, Yukari didn't care much for clothes or manners when she was in the Ryuuzaki mansion. Soon, Takeshi might find it increasing difficult to ignore the woman's lack of social grace. At some point, he might have to teach her some good manners, for the only etiquette which Yukari strictly practiced was to introduce herself properly to other people.

" I got... " the woman spun around twice, " NOG! "

With the pet in the palms of her hands, Yukari raised her arm up over her head as if the creature was a newly-acquired rare item. In doing so, she also displaced her long hair which would have obscured most of her half naked body from the boys' view. Tsubasa, who was already used to having a loony aunt, would probably shrug it off. Takeshi, however, was not a Lune, nor was he an Ikeda or a part of Shun Ryuuzaki's household.

Jane had stopped wondering why she did things like this a while ago, sometimes when she got the urge to go somewhere unexpectedly it turned out well for her, and maybe, just maybe this time would be the same. Hyouga was one of the few villages out there that should could probably call friendly to her, the Kage was a friend of one of her past incarnations and had expressed to her a place in the village if she so wanted, an offer that was becoming more and more tempting as the strain of travel and meeting no one in particular increased. It would be nice to just settle down, maybe have a house of her own and just rest for a bit.

She knew it wouldn't last but that didn't exactly matter. A small amount of time to rest was going to be better than none however and Jane was awfully tempted. That however didn't matter so much in the here and now. Jane had gained entrance after a few moments talking with the gate guards and was now walking down the main road. She knew where she was going this time, as opposed to that last time when she'd wandered out of a crater and run into a few buildings at random before collapsing and being captured.

Her destination was Yukari's place, or something like that. Guards gave her some generic directions which send the girl in the right direction and eventually she was at the right place. She knew this because she'd knocked and despite the ungodly hour someone answered and ushered her in as soon as she said the first syllable of 'Yukari'. She was lead through the house quickly and quietly so as not to wake anyone else up and left at a door. The person who brought her leaving as quickly as she'd been let in.

Jane opened the door and stared, what was going on in there made no sense. There were two boys in the room, one had started a fire on the floor and one was staring at Yukari who- Ok, Yukari was half naked, that wasn't so bad rally, Jane was a girl too after all but there were boys in the room and that was a problem. And one was staring. She didn't even notice the egg Yukari was playing around with, Jane's head just fell to the side, making a loud bang on the doorframe as she stared at the madness with an utterly shocked look on her face.

While Jane was being shocked July slunk in like the kitten she was and scoped out the room. The kitten like creature wanted to find a good place to nape and she sniffed around the room quickly, nudging at Takeshi's foot as she went through her search. Finally the kitten settled on the end of the bed and glanced around. She noticed Jane hadn't moved an inch since the girl opened the door then glanced around the room again, taking in the sights. There wasn't much that interested her just now other than sleep so the cat immediately passed out.
