is it possible to start a flashback thread where i obtain an item (plotwise) while i am on a thread atm? and besides the item i am acquiring is actually non enemy affecting and i RP'ed on my current thread that i have my medicine already~

I suggest doing a flashback in your current thread via having Nel "reminiscing" about when she first started having to use it. Normally, that would be looked down on, but since it's just a plot item, it should be fine.

Though no, multiple threads outside the freeform section is a no-go, even for flashbacks.
