The director of the museum would ponder what was presented before him, it wasn't an easy decision to make.Several moments had passed, including the entrance of Davak, whom the director had observed and smiled at before he finally spoke to Keeva.

"I'll give you this, you certainly know the laws and can be quite clever, but your time is running out, your buddy over there doesn't look like he is in fighting shape and well, as we speak the anvil is being loaded into a carvan and hauled away, So I guess the real question is, what's more important to you? justice or completion of a mission? Because if you decide to go after that anvil I can guarantee I won't be here when you come looking for me."

The director would take a few steps back from Keeva and the sounds of people starting up the caravan could be heard behind the museum. Seemed Keeva had to make a choice or rely on the injured Davak to take care of things by himself. Either way the director was right, time was running out and the crack of a whip meant the caravan had started moving.

When Davak had yelled out it caused the staff members to look over and when they saw an injured shinobi walking towards them while drawing his weapon, it caused a little panic among them. They worked even faster at loading the anvil and had set off quicker than they had originally intended.

Though Keeva had sort-of gotten around the director’s initial arguments, he was still worried about what to do about the anvil. That was until he heard Davak calling out. When did he- nevermind. It seemed Keeva had somehow healed his wounds, caught up with him, and located the anvil, as he looked excited and was looking towards the back of the museam; which was definitely the place you’d probably want to exit if you were leaving with a suspicious object.

Even though Keeva was glad of this unexpected windfall, he wished Davak hadn’t given himself away. The director tried to present him with two choices; one was to go after the anvil, in which case the director would flee, or escort the director, in which the anvil would probably get away. However, there was a few more options that the director was overlooking.

“I’ve got a better idea.” The genin replied smugly. Swiftly drawing his cane, Keeva swung it right at the director’s forehead. Keeva wasn’t very strong for a shniobi, but he was more then capable of dealing with an elderly civilian, even though he reduced the strength of the blow. It wasn’t strong enough to knock him out, but it would certianly daze him for at least a few moments. If it landed, Keeva would then begin to physically drag the director by the arm in the direction Davak had been running. I guess I’ll use him as a hostage or something. Keeva thought. Not really my style, but it’ll keep him from running off.

Davak’s scream had speed up the process of the stuff members taking the anvil away he knew that but what else was he to do? He wasn’t fast nor sneaky and it seemed the best thing to do at the moment. He was feeling better, but he wasn’t sure if it was just the adrenaline or if it was truly the fact he was gaining his strength.

So he just did the best he could to reach the anvil as fast as possible, when he was in reach he grabbed five of his aerodynamic kunai and threw them at the wheels of the caravan trying to break them to the best of his ability. He tried not to hit civilians and get there as fast as possible, he wanted to wrap things up, even though he was feeling better the wounds might reopen if he moved to much.

When he came close he would swing his sword Yusei at the wheel and the rest of the caravan but not at the box. He was hoping for Keeves support, as fast as possible… he as getting desperate

Keeva's cane hit the director in the head causing him to wield a look of sheer horror on his face, as well as holding his head in pain. The scene of Keeva dragging an old man didn't look very good to any of the staff but since they had been treated so poorly by the elderly man, they looked the other way on this one. Soon the elderly man began kicking and screaming the whole way struggling as much as he could to get free of Keeva's grasp and although Keeva wasn't very strong he was certainly strong enough to keep his hold on the director as he dragged him towards the scene Davak was creating, to which to would be just in time to see the guards about to attack.

Davak's thrown kunai at the wheels would cause two things. The first being great pain as his wounds began to reopen, and the second was the caravan's guards had been dispatched to come take care of Davak as soon as the kunai had hit the wheels. He had successfully broken two of the wheels but the caravan had repair men and the would begin working on a repair immediately.

When the guards came close enough to Davak he would see what he was up against. The guards looked strong, very strong but not too bright and there were three of them. They had some pretty thick armor on and the armor would reduce any damage caused by projectiles. As the guards approached Davak the guards, going from left to right, would pull out heavy weapons, one with a two handed axe, a claymore, and the other, a large club with nails sticking out of the end. They would waste no time and immediately begin their assault on the injured genin.

Each guard would take a swing at the genin and slowly move closer to him, each swing accompanied by a large force and in Davak's current state he wouldn't be able to block off each one, however due to the weight of the weapons being used, Davak would have a second between each attack to come up with a new plan.

The next few things that occurred went more-or-less as Keeva had expected. The director wasn’t about to put up much of a fight. Even though he recovered quickly, and started kicking and screaming, making Keeva feel very self-conscious. However, the only people who were still in the immediate vicinity were the employees the man had treated badly, and he had received no help or sympathy from them. As long as Keeva didn’t return to the village for another mission any time soon, it probably wouldn’t have any long-lasting consequences.

Davak was fighting with what appeared to be a guarded caravan, almost certainly the one meant to escort the anvil to who-knew-where, but he was having trouble; still outnumbered, and his movements were slower and stiffer then before; he obviously hadn’t fully recovered, and was probably going to go down soon if he didn’t get back-up. In fact, there were three strong-looking guards that appeared to be closing in for the kill. I need to get their attention off of Keeva, and to do something about the director; I can’t fight properly and restrain him at the same time. Maybe if I… yeah, that should work. Rat boy sharply tugged on the Director’s arm, throwing him off-balance, then, using his free hand to grab the man’s shoulder from the opposite side, Keeva threw him to the ground. He didn’t put more force then he needed to, so it wouldn’t do more than knock the wind out of the man, but it would probably be enough to keep him from interfering for another moment. Making a set of handseals that Davak would probably be familiar with by now, he once again used Mizu Senbon firing a small torrent of needles out of his mouth, aimed at the men closest to Davak. He was too far away for the technique to do any serious damage, but it would probably distract them, give them some minor wounds, and encourage them to stay away from his (temporary) teammate. A genjutsu probably would have been better suited, but Keeva didn't have their attention yet, so he couldn't use any of his cues.

“It's showtime people: the anvil stays here!” Keeva growled sharply. “Consider that an order from the Director.” As he said the first sentance, perticularly the phrase "the show must go on" Keeva used the Look at Me! genutsu to keep their attention on him. The second sentence was said less for its persuasive effect, and more to draw their attention to the fact that their employer was laying near the newcomer’s feet looking rather worse for wear.

Davak was once again in the situation were he was faced with multiple enemy’s, three men coming towards him, to make things worse his wound had somehow opened, from just throwing a bunch of kunai… odd but he had to cope with it now one way or another…
He remembered what his father had told him a millions times, well it wouldn’t be like he could forget it anyway, Son the mission always come first and above all else. The men were now pretty close and they were swinging their weapons around but very slowly.

``Sorry, Keeva the rest is for you´´ He faced his opponents head on, the closest to him was hit by his partners jutsu it abstracted him and Davak found the opening he needed.

Davak stepped forward and rammed the blunt side of Yusei with incredible speed against his opponents head after he had tried to slash at him , then he jumped forward and elbowed the man in the face combined, it was easily enough to knock him out, he collapsed forward and Davak jumped over him, and screamed in pain as he drew out nearly all his stamina to let the blue flames return to his hands, he grabbed the next opponents arms as he tried to slash for him, this paralyzed them from his flames effects which caused the bulky man to drop his weapon, then he head-butted him and lastly as he let go of his opponents hand he stepped back to gain momentum and then seconds later rushed forward pushing both his hands which were in the tiger fang positing against the man’s rip cage hopefully breaking most of them. He was near breaking point now and still continued he showed incredible will power, he stepped forward in the famous bushido style position, where one arm rose diagonally upwards into the sky and the other diagonally down barley touching the ground, than as the last man came close he released a barrage of punch after punch chop after chop and sting after sting till his hands were sore and bleeding all over.

The man was down but so was Davak, he collapsed to his knees then fell flat to the floor. He had done what he could even if it seemed wrong it was his way and it would be like that forever... even though he was down and done one could see a faint smile on his face as he knew he had brought honor to his father...

The guards were only made even angrier by the barrage of mizu senbon. Their armor had protected them from the attack but the intent matched the outcome. The trio had stopped their assault on the young konoi genin and turned their attention toward Keeva, who apparently had their employer under his knee. He apparently felt he needed to bark orders at them instead of asking them nicely. They looked at each other for a second and nodded. They also felt compelled to keep their attention on Keeva.

Davak had decided that attacking them while they were distracted was a good idea, even with his wounds being at risk of being worse than they were before, which happened to be the case. When Davak used his sword to try and slash at a guard his wounds had re opened and had begun bleeding again. The pain would be too much for the young genin to continue his attack and he would be brought to his knees. If the young shinobi's willpower continued to guide him and he activated his blue flamed technique he would suddenly feel dizzy and collapse from stamina exhaustion.

Whatever happened, the guards would continue to keep their attention on Keeva due to the genjutsu that was being used on them. One of them would speak

"Wait, you two guys aren't the thieves? We were told by the old guy there were thieves in the area and we had to take this anvil to a secure location until they were dealt with." The others nodded in agreement and spoke up as well "I guess it just seems to be a misunderstanding here, you guys can have the anvil, Hey! Shin! take that anvil outta there! We've been swindled!" the guards would motion for the guy to take the anvil out of the caravan and the guards would nod towards the two genin. "We already got payment for this so there's no loss on our part, anvil is all yours, as for the old man seems you got it all under control, well, good day guys, looks like this one could use some treatment."

One of the caravan travelers had a tad bit of medical experience so they would come over and take a look at Davak's injuries. The traveler would close Davak's wounds and if he had collapsed from stamina exhaustion the traveler would give Davak some food pills to restore his stamina along with the words "No fighting for a while you hear? If those wounds open up again it could be real nasty, take it easy alright?" If there weren't any further questions the caravan people would pack up and leave. Leaving the two genin alone with the anvil and the director.

EDIT: end of the mission, great job guys, sorry if I was somewhat boring of an NPCer, i'm still learning, feel free to do whatever you need to exit. Thanks for the experience ^^

Keeva had been prepared to fight them; more prepared then Davak was, but it seemed the same wasn’t true for them. If anything, it seemed they were in the same boat as the two konoi were. “Yeah, you see…” the rat-faced boy gave them the cliffnotes version of what had transpired, pointing out the hole in the wall at the front of the museum, and their previous injuries. “Man, the director here had guts, trying to trick all of us; he wasn’t able to stop us from talking though, fortunately enough, I should have considered talking to you guys first as well. Heck, now that I think about it, if you’d really been in on his plan, you probably would have gone through more effort to hide what you were doing; should have thought about that. Well, all’s well that ends well I guess, though sorry if I messed up your armor.”

Keeva went and randomly appointed he most competent looking person among the museum employees to be in charge of things for the time being, and wrote up a report for the town’s officials, so they’d know the full situation. If there wasn’t anything else for him to do he’d proceed to drag the director back to Konoki, and let the proper officials decide what to do with him there.

But before he left, Keeva made sure to say goodbye to Davak. “Sorry you ended up all beaten up like that; at least it will give you something to work towards improving.” Taking damage like that was probably the norm for front-line fighters like him, but it was also very hindering for them, since they fought with their bodies. “Will you need any help getting back to the village?”

With everything solved or in the process of being solved without his help, Keeva left, his mission complete. That should keep mom off my back for a while.

Davak slashed at the man with his sword but in mid-way he realized the pain would be too much and he fell forward to his knees, he decided to take his loss like a man and looked his opponent right in the eyes.... but he couldn’t say the same for the man with the axe. He was talking to Keeva and Davak found out it had all been a giant mix up caused by the museum owner... What a snake this guy is .....

It all turned out pretty okay in the end, a man helped Davak with his wounds and later on he apologized for attacking, Keeva wrote the report while Davak was keeping an eye on the museum owner and simultaneously polishing Yusei.

Than when all was done, Keeva returned to Davak, “Sorry you ended up all beaten up like that; at least it will give you something to work towards improving.” he continued “Will you need any help getting back to the village?” .

Wow... sot that’s what a real teammate must be like... He looked on the floor for a moment he was touched even by such a simple offer... ``Ehmm... no but if you don’t mind I´ll walk with you back to the village I´ll try to walk fast as well... of course ehm only to ehh watch out that the director doesn’t ehm make an escape or anything, but only if it okay for you?´´

If Keeva would agree they would walk back together with the occasional small talk mostly from Davak’s side, if not he would walk home alone ...
