Bloodline Guide: Vaporia

To start, let's take a look at the Tags available to Vaporia and understand how its Bloodline Jutsus work together.

Vaporia is a generalist Bloodline. It provides many of the core Tags that almost every loadout wants, including Damage Reduction, Damage Increase, Lifesteal, Pierce, and Movement, along with additional utility through Reflect, Heal, and Afterburn.

Liquid Ember Shell

First, let's talk about Liquid Ember Shell (LES). This is your bread-and-butter Jutsu and arguably the strongest Jutsu in the Vaporia Bloodline.

LES provides Lifesteal, Increase Damage Given (IDG), and Afterburn.

IDG increases your damage, Lifesteal gives you sustain while dealing damage, and Afterburn allows you to bypass Absorb while providing additional damage.

Because LES provides so much value in a single Jutsu, it is one of the main Jutsus you want to build around and use as much as possible throughout a battle.

Surfing Strike

Surfing Strike (SS) is your general starting Jutsu when beginning a fight from a distance. It comes with Movement, allowing you to approach your opponent while maintaining momentum.

In combat, you generally want some form of Damage Reduction active. SS provides Decrease Damage Taken (DDT), giving you protection while also dealing damage.

This makes SS an excellent Jutsu for starting a fight.

Liquid Ember Shell + Surfing Strike

LES + SS is a strong opener and likely the strongest general two-Jutsu combination available to Vaporia.

Together, they give you:

  • Damage Increase
  • Damage Reduction
  • Lifesteal
  • Afterburn
  • Movement

This allows you to approach your opponent while already having offensive pressure, sustain, and protection active.

Scorch Break

Next, we have Scorch Break (SB).

SB deals damage and applies Reflect to yourself.

Reflect gives Vaporia another way to win damage trades by returning damage taken back to your opponent. When your Reflect matches your opponent's Lifesteal, it can effectively negate their sustain.

Reflect is also useful during Smoke Bomb Rounds, as it can Reflect Pierce damage back to your opponent. It can also Reflect additional damage from Absorb or Shields, allowing you to return that damage to your opponent.

Reflect also serves as a deterrent, especially when paired with Recoil Jutsus such as Crimson Spire or Echoing Rift.

This makes SB particularly useful when you have low Damage Reduction and want to play aggressively by dealing damage while simultaneously punishing your opponent for attacking you.

Azure Dragon Palm

Azure Dragon Palm (ADP) deals damage through Pierce and applies a static Heal for 2 turns.

Pierce is an essential part of every loadout because it instantly destroys Shields. Its static damage also makes it especially useful against defensive Tags or during Smoke Bombs.

The Heal provides additional sustain after the attack, making ADP an excellent Pierce option for trading damage.

ADP becomes even stronger when combined with Vaporia's Lifesteal or Reflect, giving you multiple ways to gain value from the same trade.

Scorch Break, Azure Dragon Palm & Smoke Bomb Rounds

SB and ADP are particularly useful during Smoke Bomb Rounds, where Pierce and Lifesteal Jutsus are commonly involved.

SB allows you to Reflect incoming damage, while ADP provides Pierce and Heal.

When combined with the Lifesteal from LES, Vaporia can recover Health through Lifesteal, punish incoming damage with Reflect, and gain additional sustain through ADP's Heal.

This combination of Lifesteal, Reflect, Pierce, and Heal makes Vaporia very strong in these types of trades.

Drowning Strike

Finally, we have Drowning Strike (DS).

DS is a straightforward damage Jutsu that also provides Increase Damage Given (IDG).

Its usefulness depends on the rest of your loadout. If you have room for another source of damage and IDG, it can be useful.

However, it can easily be replaced if another Jutsu provides more valuable utility for your loadout.

Building Around Vaporia

Vaporia already provides many of the fundamental Tags needed in combat, allowing your remaining 10 Jutsu slots to focus on what your specific loadout needs.

You can use those slots for additional Defense, Offense, Absorb, Stun, Recoil, or other utility.

The goal is to complement the Tags already provided by Vaporia rather than spending additional slots covering the same basic requirements.

Putting Vaporia Together

Your general starting point should be Surfing Strike + Liquid Ember Shell.

SS allows you to approach while providing Damage Reduction, while LES gives you Damage Increase, Lifesteal, and Afterburn.

From there, Scorch Break gives you a strong option for damage trades and Reflect, while Azure Dragon Palm provides Pierce and Heal.

Drowning Strike can be added when you want another source of damage and IDG, but it is not essential if another Jutsu provides more useful utility.

Vaporia's Playstyle

Vaporia's playstyle can be described as generalist, versatile, and focused on good sustain.

LES + SS is your main opener, giving you offensive pressure, sustain, protection, and Movement at the beginning of a fight.

From there, SB allows you to take advantage of Reflect and favorable trades, while ADP gives you Pierce and Heal for additional sustain.

Vaporia's combination of offensive pressure, defensive tools, trading mechanics, and sustain makes it a strong Bloodline for players who want to adapt their loadout to different strategies.

Hopefully, this guide helps you better understand Vaporia's strengths and how its Jutsus work together.
