Introducing the Pet Companion System!

A new bond awaits at the Bondkeeper Sanctuary on Wake Island!

You can now adopt your very own pet, customize its appearance, train its stats, unlock new abilities, and raise a companion that can fight alongside you in Quest battles or assist with profession work.

Adopting Your First Pet

Visit the Bondkeeper Sanctuary on Wake Island while you're awake and out of combat to begin your journey.

Your first pet adoption is completely free! Additional adoptions cost 30 Reputation Points or 50 Seichi Silver each.

When adopting a pet, you can customize several aspects of its appearance:

  • Species: Choose the type of creature you want.
  • Colour Palette: Select its colours.
  • Characteristics: Give your companion a distinguishing feature.
  • Aura: Choose an aura to complement its appearance.
  • Name: Give your companion its own name.

Once you've made your selections, you can generate your pet's appearance.

Pet Collection Slots

Players begin with one Pet Collection Slot, but additional slots can be unlocked to collect more companions.

  • Additional permanent slots cost 20 Reputation Points or 50 Seichi Silver each.
  • You can unlock up to 6 permanent collection slots.
  • Normal Federal: +1 additional slot.
  • Silver Federal: +2 additional slots.
  • Gold Federal: +3 additional slots.

You can own multiple pets, but only one companion can be active at a time.

A New Selection Every Day

The Bondkeeper Sanctuary offers a different selection of creatures and customization options every day.

Your available choices refresh at midnight UTC. Each player receives their own daily selection, which remains the same throughout the day. Refreshing the page will not change your options.

These choices apply to Species, Colour Palettes, Characteristics, and Auras. You can mix and match the available options to create your preferred companion.

Pet Rarity & Adoption Chances

Pets come in five rarities: Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, and Legendary.

Each species choice first rolls a rarity and then selects an available species from that rarity. Federal supporters receive additional choices with improved rarity odds.

Choice 6 — Silver50%28%15%5.5%1.5%
Choices 7–8 — Gold40%30%20%7.5%2.5%

Important: These percentages represent the rarity odds for each individual choice, not a guarantee of receiving a particular pet.

The same species cannot appear twice in your daily selection. If a rarity runs out of available species, the remaining rarity odds will automatically adjust.

Training Your Companion

Your companion can grow stronger alongside you by earning Companion Experience (EXP).

Eligible active pets can earn unused EXP from supported character experience rewards, including training and Quests. However, to receive Battle EXP, your companion must actually participate in the battle.

For your pet to participate in battle, it must have a completed appearance, have battle participation enabled, and meet the appropriate rank requirements for your character.

Feeding Your Pet

You can also feed each pet one finished meal per UTC day to award additional Companion EXP.

Meal RarityCompanion EXP
Common500
Rare750
Epic1,000
Legendary1,200

Meals must already be prepared and carried by your character before they can be fed to your companion.

Training Pet Stats

Companion EXP can be assigned to six different stats:

  • Offense
  • Defense
  • Strength
  • Speed
  • Intelligence
  • Willpower

Remember: Your pet's level increases based on its assigned EXP, not simply the amount it has earned. Make sure to spend its unused EXP to continue progressing.

Pet Ranks & Evolution

Pets progress through 10 ranks, unlocking higher progression limits as they grow stronger.

  1. Companion
  2. Scout
  3. Tracker
  4. Guardian
  5. Hunter
  6. Warden
  7. Sentinel
  8. Mythic
  9. Sovereign
  10. Celestial

Evolution requires enough assigned EXP and the appropriate character rank. Pet Rank-Ups are free and eventually allow your companion to reach Level 100.

After each Rank-Up, you'll need to generate your pet's evolved appearance before continuing its training.

Switching between companions will not cause them to lose their unused EXP.

Pet Combat & Abilities

Your companion can join you in supported Quest PvE battles, including:

  • Missions
  • Story Quests
  • Event Quests
  • Battle Pyramids
  • Dungeons

You can customize your companion's combat behaviour by configuring its Jutsus, compatible activated Passive Skills, AI Rules, and preferred starting position.

Ability Slots

Your pet's rarity determines how many abilities it can equip.

Pet RarityAbility Slots
Common2
Uncommon3
Rare4
Epic5
Legendary6

Jutsus and Skills share the same ability slots and a Power Budget that increases with your pet's rank.

More powerful abilities consume more of this budget, so you'll need to carefully consider which abilities work best together.

Available Pet Types

Pets come in different combat roles, each offering opportunities to build around different strategies.

Assault Pets

Examples include Raccoon, Falcon, Wolf, Tiger, Lion, Snow Leopard, and Dragon.

Support Pets

Examples include Sparrow, Fox, Panda, Kitsune, and Hawk.

Healer Pets

Examples include Butterfly, Elk, Lynx, and Phoenix.

Your companion's actual combat abilities will depend on the Jutsus and Skills you equip, so pets within the same role can still have different loadouts.

Pet Profession Jobs

Pets aren't limited to combat! They can also assist with profession work.

Once your companion reaches Hunter Rank (Rank 5), players with the Hunter or Gatherer occupation can send eligible pets on profession contracts.

  • Only one companion profession job can run at a time.
  • Your companion will be unavailable while away on a job.
  • You must collect the job results or cancel the job before using or changing that companion.

Discover Pet Eggs Through Exploration

Keep exploring beyond the Bondkeeper Sanctuary!

Selected Dungeons and overworld AI enemies can drop Pet Eggs when defeated, giving you another way to discover companions.

These drops are chance-based, so an egg is never guaranteed from a single victory.

Begin Your Journey!

Whether you're looking for a powerful battle companion, a supportive ally, or a pet to assist with your profession, the new Pet Companion System offers another way to develop your character and enjoy the world of Seichi.

Visit the Bondkeeper Sanctuary on Wake Island, claim your free first adoption, and begin raising your new companion!
