TLDR:
The Skill Tree is a dynamic system introduced in TNR (presumably a Naruto-related game or role-playing setting) designed to enhance player creativity and build diversity. The core idea is to provide players with the flexibility to tailor their characters to specific playstyles through a tiered skill point system.
The Skill Tree is divided into three tiers, and players start gaining points once they reach the Chuunin rank. Skill points are earned at a rate of 1 point every level, up to a maximum of 20 points. An essential condition is that a player must allocate at least one point in Tier 1 skills before unlocking the higher tiers.
Tier 1 (6 options, 1 point each): Players can choose from a variety of options, each providing a 5% boost. These options cover different aspects of combat, including damage increases and reductions for various techniques (Ninjutsu, Taijutsu, Bukijutsu, Genjutsu), as well as general enhancements like regen increase, AP reduction, elemental damage modifiers, movement range increase, healing, armor, and item damage increase.
Tier 2 (16 options, 2 points each): Building on Tier 1, Tier 2 provides a 10% increase for each selected option. Players can further specialize in their chosen areas, enhancing damage, reducing damage taken, improving regeneration, reducing AP costs, and boosting elemental damage. Notably, movement range increase, healing, armor, and item damage increase options persist, offering a deeper level of customization.
Tier 3 (18 options, 3 points each): The pinnacle of customization, Tier 3 offers a 15% increase for each chosen option. Players can delve into advanced enhancements, including options for stun resistance, absorb, and reflect. The inclusion of special options at a higher cost adds a strategic layer to character development. The stun resistance, absorb, and reflect options can only be unlocked in Tier 3 and come at a higher cost of 5 skill points each.
Reset Mechanism: Players are granted one free skill point reset, encouraging experimentation with different builds. Subsequent resets are available at the cost of 15 reputation points each.
Prestige Bonus: Players achieving a prestige rank gain an additional 5 skill points, rewarding high-level play and accomplishment.
In summary, the Skill Tree introduces a comprehensive system that empowers players to shape their characters according to their preferred playstyles. The tiered structure, coupled with a diverse array of options, promotes strategic decision-making and provides a rich avenue for character progression in the TNR universe.
