Training Guide: Energy & Mastery
Training in The Ninja-RPG is divided into two main systems: Energy Training and Mastery Training. Both systems contribute to your character's progression, but they serve different purposes.
Energy Training
Energy is one of the primary ways to earn Experience and train your Offense, Defense, and General stats.
Energy regenerates based on your character's Regeneration Rate. The higher your regeneration, the faster your Energy pool refills, allowing you to train more frequently.
Currently, Energy Training uses the following conversion rate:
- 1 Energy = 0.085 Stat Points before bonuses.
- 1 Energy = 0.085 Experience before bonuses.
This means that spending Energy on training increases your selected stat while also awarding Experience.
Regenerating Energy Through Activities
In addition to normal regeneration, you can recover Energy faster by participating in various in-game activities.
| Activity | Energy Reward |
|---|---|
| Completed Mission | 20 |
| Completed Story Quest | 20 |
| Completed Starter Quest | 20 |
| Completed Event Quest | 100 |
| Completed Battle Pyramid | 100 |
| Eligible PvP Win | 250 |
| Eligible PvP Loss | 200 |
By actively participating in Missions, Events, Battle Pyramids, and PvP, you can earn additional Energy and speed up your training progression.
Mastery Training
Mastery is a progression system that determines which combat abilities your character can access.
Unlike your Offense and Defense stats, Mastery does not directly increase your damage. Instead, it unlocks access to different Combat Tags, Jutsus, Items, and Armor.
Each offense type specializes in different combat mechanics, giving players more variety when building their loadouts.
Mastery Specializations
- Ninjutsu: Focuses on increasing damage through offensive buffs and applying Afterburn effects.
- Genjutsu: Specializes in weakening opponents through debuffs and utilizing secondary damage Tags.
- Taijutsu: Offers some of the highest damage potential but generally operates at shorter ranges.
- Bukijutsu: Focuses on applying damage through multiple sources.
These specializations allow each Mastery to develop its own identity and encourage players to explore different combat strategies.
How Mastery Training Works
Mastery uses a timed training system, meaning you can train your Masteries alongside your Offense, Defense, and General stats.
Because Mastery Training is separate from Energy Training, you can progress in both systems at the same time.
Mastery Requirements
Certain Jutsus, Items, and Armor require specific Mastery levels before they can be trained, equipped, or used in combat.
This means that progressing through your Masteries will gradually unlock more combat options and allow you to develop more advanced loadouts.
Temporary Mastery Bonuses
Bloodlines, Items, and Armor can also provide temporary Mastery bonuses.
These bonuses can help you meet Mastery requirements earlier, allowing you to access certain abilities or equipment before reaching the required Mastery through training alone.
Mastery Caps
Mastery has two different caps that determine how much progress your character can earn.
- Individual Mastery Cap: 1,500,000 points per Mastery.
- Total Mastery Cap: 4,200,000 points across all Masteries combined.
While you can train an individual Mastery up to 1.5 million points, the combined cap means you will need to consider how you distribute your Mastery Points across the different specializations.
Mastery Ranks & Rank-Up Quests
Each Mastery has its own Rank Progression System.
Every rank has a soft cap that limits how many Mastery Points you can earn before advancing. Once you reach that cap, you must complete the corresponding Mastery Rank-Up Quest to continue progressing.
| Mastery Rank | Mastery Points |
|---|---|
| None | 0 |
| Novice | 375,000 |
| Adept | 600,000 |
| Master | 1,000,000 |
| Legendary | 1,500,000 |
Important: Reaching a Mastery Rank's cap does not automatically advance you to the next rank. You must complete the required Rank-Up Quest before continuing your training.
Putting It All Together
The Energy System determines how quickly you can develop your core stats and earn Experience, while the Mastery System determines which combat abilities and equipment become available to you.
Since both systems can be trained simultaneously, you should aim to keep your
